I took them using the Epi-Pen on Jimmy as a bit of comedic exaggeration - so the audience would know for sure "oh he has an allergy because they are using an epi-pen!"

The insurance company wouldn't know he didn't use it on himself - my mom has epipens she carries around (Bee allergy) - and she usually renews them around 8 months after getting them. No questions from insurance. I think there would only be questions if they started making dozens of renewals a year without a doctors note (But if that happened, the insurance would probably be like "please are allergy shots an option for this? we would like you to become cheaper!")> Yeah, someone needs to head to the hospital after using an epi-pen because they need to be monitored to make sure they don't need any more medications in the event of anaphylactic shock. I am also wondering what Jimmy's allergy is - maybe it just makes him a bit itchy, or some GI distress. Imagine if they keep it as something - maybe Jimmy has some shrimp in the future, and his reaction is worse (which can happen with allergies) - so instead of one of the kids in the hospital, it's Jimmy.

Also, I figured out a way to make this show seem very good. Watch an episode of the new MacGyver before Scorpion.

Maybe she focuses on a rare cancer? She also seemed like she is the kind of person who would consider anything short of a cure to be nothing. So she probably just has dead rats with failed cures for whatever cancer she is testing it on. The sushi C-plot let the show demonstrate its mild absurdity, with Taylor just offering up her brother's epi-pen so Jimmy could finish the sushi (And, well, making the table's meal free).

That was a good episode. I hope we learn what their feud is about. I'm guessing through a flashback at some point?

Saw some promo on ABC advertising the thanksgiving episodes of comedies such as modern family speechless was not mentioned. ABC Marketing really hates this show, don't they?

If Bald Dude is the mole, he probably found out about the rehab & addiction somehow, and is going to use that to try to frame Dmitri. Then he discovers that Alex = Dmitri!

Here in NJ every town has their own school district, so she would go to wherever she is zoned in Randall's town.

Randall is definitely North Jersey, so Tess was probably at St. Barnabas in Short Hills, or maybe they went to St. Peters in New Brunswick.

That was a good episode. Ray and Taylor are good together and I hope Ray prematurely saying I Love You doesn't doom the relationship. I hope we see more Nora - and at least a mention about Dylan's track & field? The cold open was so something a principal would do to try to seem cool. Though they would hold the pep rally inside.

Speechless didn't have the 23rd episode ordered until December last year. There's time :D They are probably waiting until after the Thanksgiving episode.
