I just saw this yesterday and am still thinking about it. I pretty much loved it and especially enjoyed that blink-and-you-might-have-missed-it scene when Steve is facing off with Thanos, gets a grip on the gauntlet, and we see a brief moment of surprise and grudging respect on Thanos's face, reminiscent of Cap's attempt to pick up Thor's hammer in Age of Ultron. I know not everyone liked the ending, but I found the quiet destruction followed by Steve's horrified and almost despairing "oh god" devastating. And I like how others have pointed out that Thanos gets the focus and the hero's journey in this movie so it makes sense that it ends with a shot of him finally at peace after completing his quest, but damn was that a downer. I'm so impressed at what they were able to pull off with this movie.

That wasn't Jules. I believe it was Lacey, Dylan's wife.

It's been a while since I watched, but, yes, I think he was just imagining or dreaming that.

Ha, yes! I'm South Asian and everything you wrote about your family goes for mine as well. Has anyone found the website they created for Joe? It's not linked from his Twitter or Facebook last I checked and I couldn't make out the text for the URL when they showed it briefly. I give him a lot of credit for pursuing what he loves, but watching him perform at the American Legion was rough. I was glad his set at the end of the episode went better.

Aww, I liked Neal. But that may because I identified with his awkwardness and how closed off he was at the start. Despite really enjoying the first few seasons of the original, I had no interest in watching this but somehow found myself burning through most of the episodes today. A worthwhile watch, especially heartening for when you're snowed in/not feeling well.

It's coming back for a 6-episode final season. I had issues with the second season, but I still enjoyed it and am glad they're coming back to wrap things up. I really liked the addition of BB, but I hope the Elise-Eryka thing is done with and that Karl's marriage troubles are kept to a minimum.

As nice as it was to see Jeremy again, I thought having their reunion off-screen undercut the impact of the scene in Wiig's previous episode when he ran away from her. Maybe I'm just missing Downward Dog, but I was hoping for an episode showing Jeremy's solo travels before reuniting with Pamela. Wiig's episode was one of my favorites, though, so I'm probably more invested in those characters than most viewers are. At least Tandy was less infuriating this episode (apart from the toilet incident), and I liked how everyone went along with Tandy's plan to decapitate Pat and then send his head and body in different directions--especially since it meant needlessly losing the Jet Skis. The overhead shot of the two Jet Skis arcing to meet up and the horrified gasps of the gang cracked me up.

1) She had "This is not real" (which was also the episode title) scratched into her arm. I don't think they showed the guy who was chasing her again. 3) J.D., the childhood friend they were playing pool with. I didn't catch it at first, but realized on re-watch was why her friend Jules seemed to stop in surprise when looking at Margot's house at the end: there was a big number 6 next to the front door.

Lori Petty also answered with a resounding "No" when asked again on Twitter if Dottie dropped the ball on purpose: But then Kit would say that ;-)

I was lukewarm on this show when it started, but it really grew on me. The Pittsburgh setting is refreshing and I love the weird bits they insert like Martin's vision of how wolves and humans first came together and the scary animation they did for Pepper in the previous episode. And I never expected it to make me tear up, but sure enough, Nan's panic at losing Martin and the sight of him frightened and alone in the woods hit me hard. The one thing I really didn't like about this episode was Nan's boss. He was over-the-top crazy, and I found it unsettling rather than funny. I saw a nice article on the show on Vulture (Why 'Downward Dog' Deserves to be Rescued) and it made the AV Club's Best TV of 2017 So Far. I hope the positive buzz helps it gets picked up by another channel.

I just listened to the director's commentary and Peele said he imagined that Rose might have left the closet door open deliberately because the chance of being caught was part of the thrill of the hunt for her. One icky detail I don't think I've seen mentioned is that Rose probably slept with 'Walter' when she was luring him in and now his body is being occupied by her grandfather. Ew. Anyway, I loved this movie and found the idea and depiction of the sunken place haunting.

Aw, my two favorite Chrises in one gif! On Edelstein's review: Yeah, I wasn't sure if I had missed it, or if people just didn't think it was worth mentioning here. Wonder Woman is the first movie I've seen in theaters in a year and it was such a welcome, if temporary, relief to watch something hopeful and good-hearted at a time when real world events are so bonkers/anxiety-inducing/horrific.

That's a cute gif, but someone ruined the illusion by explaining that Gal had just said something to the interviewer about the movie's themes and when asked to elaborate, handed the question off to Chris to come up with something on the spot and this is likely her feeling a bit guilty about it. I'm surprised there hasn't been any discussion here about David Edelstein's controversial Vulture review and subsequent explanation.

Those last 2 episodes just became available on Netflix US; I'm watching now! Here are their descriptions: S19 ep 5: DCI Barnaby and DS Winter crash a Jane Austen-themed fantasy camp after a participant is found murdered on the grounds. S19 ep 6: An up-and-coming classical musician is murdered after winning an award. Barnaby and Winter must narrow down a symphony's worth of suspects.

Capheus dopey big smile was the best. That's what I love about his character, this cheerfulness. There has been a lot less of it this season. This episode had a lot of great moments, but this has become one of my favorites of the season. I wasn't sure about the new actor in the Christmas special, but he's really grown on me. He seems like a better fit for Capheus's story this season than the original actor would've been. This Capheus seems less exuberant, so it cracked me up that while the other sensates reacted to Wolfgang's sudden appearance with confusion or concern, Capheus busted out a sunny smile and was just happy to see him.

Yes, when the Columbia storyline started, I was hoping for more scenes with her and Kimmy, but Xan really hasn't been around much and it seems like she gets humiliated whenever she does show up. Actually, there's been a lot less of Kimmy's time at college than I would've expected. And the fact that Kimmy's still married to the Reverend hasn't come up since Laura Dern's episode, which also seems odd.

I don't think so. I don't believe they explained why the pathologist she was seeing (Marcus) left either. And Helen, the newer officer who specializes in IT was only in the first episode of the latest season. I wish they did more stories about the team like in the earlier episodes, but I guess the cast changes make that tough. It's funny that one of the characters who's been on the show the longest (Mark) hardly gets any focus. He's just kind of there. Oh, well. I still enjoy it.

Apart from looking like Andie MacDowell, I'm not sure what Hugh Grant's character saw in Carrie in Four Weddings and a Funeral. She sleeps with him shortly before her own wedding and then pops up right before his to tell him she's separated from her husband.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that they've already added season 19 to Netflix US. I miss Sykes and Nelson, but at least Sykes's absence is just due to retirement and his replacement is appealing enough. I can't say the same about the new DS.

Keith L. Williams. I enjoyed his one episode appearance in the gone-too-soon Selfie, but I agree that he didn't have much of a presence here. I'm hoping that was just a combination of him being mute/traumatized and Tandy going overboard trying to bond with him, and that he'll have more to do in future episodes.

Yeah, there didn't seem to be a reason for that apart from the needs of the plot. I loved this episode. This show is great at making goofy bits like the 'heart soup' scene surprisingly touching. And I so hope we see Jeremy again. That dog was painfully cute.

I figured it was because she didn't want to abandon her husband when he was sick since he wouldn't have passed the physical to be allowed into the bunker and by the time he died, she was too ill to make the journey.
