  1. I thought Chetna was joking when she first mentioned cheating, so was surprised when she brought it up again during her one-on-one. From what I recall, it wasn't unusual for bakers to check out what others were doing during the technical challenges, though I'm not sure if it was ever done as openly--by both Chetna and James--as it was here. She seemed to be taking the competition a lot more seriously than the others. Anyway, I was just happy to see everyone again. Janet still seemed delightfully surprised whenever the judges liked her bakes, Howard was as upbeat as ever, and James had another late-in-the-game disaster that he didn't panic about but wasn't able to salvage. And after watching the American version these past few weeks (which is decent), it's become even more apparent how special the chemistry is on this show. I know Paul isn't the most popular, but I like how he acts as a contrast to the others and enjoy it when they poke fun at him and he takes it in stride. I'm sad this is the end of the show--at least in its current form, but at least it had a great run.
  2. It looked like there was a bunch of previously never shown counselors in the scene where Cricket's mom picks up her stuff. I guess there'd have to be considering they're now 2 counselors down and the ones we have seen don't seem to be spending much time with the campers. This isn't a good show, but I look forward to watching it every week for some reason. My favorite bits are with the 3 satanists who are always tooling around on the fringes.
  3. I hope it makes enough for there to be more movies. With Jason Bourne last week and Suicide Squad this week, its prospects don't look good but maybe the overseas earnings will make up for any shortfall.
  4. Thanks for the video--I'll have to put watching Manhunter and reading the books on my to-do list. And thank you for posting so many quotes, ElectricBoogaloo!
  5. I'm already feeling Hannibal withdrawal, so rewatched the first two seasons. This is one of the exchanges that sticks with me and hasn't been mentioned yet: Hannibal Lecter: Killing must feel good to God, too. He does it all the time, and are we not created in God's image? Will Graham: Depends on who you ask. Hannibal Lecter: God's terrific. He dropped a church roof on 34 of his worshipers last Wednesday night in Texas, while they sang a hymn. Will Graham: Did God feel good about that? Hannibal Lecter: He felt powerful.
