  1. So I happened across this review today. It's from last month but the reviewer watched the first 6 episodes (no spoilers included) and it sounds like it's worth hanging in for them. Oddly enough, I also thought of Lilo & Stitch when watching. http://collider.com/final-space-review-tbs/
  2. True, but IMO maybe not enough? The similarities with Red Dwarf (on paper) were kind of what caught my attention but Gary is no Lister. Maybe because Lister is pragmatic and grounded even in the most surreal surroundings.
  3. Comedian Kathy Griffin is the top of the show guest. Journalist Bari Weiss is the mid-show interview. The panelists include comedian Trae Crowder, conservative blogger and radio host, Erick Erickson and Republican political commentator, Ana Navarro.
  4. I think TBS is the show's home. They probably used the other Turner channels for cross promotion? I've only seen the first episode. I meant to watch the other 2 tonight but ended up watching the Oscars instead. Anyway, I'll give it a few more before I decide. I was actually hoping for a cross between Red Dwarf and Futurama, so was disappointed in the main character. The animation style didn't bother me too much though.
  5. I thought they went a little overboard with the Zima but honestly, I don't think I've ever seen anyone enjoy their first sip of real beer, so that part rang true.
  6. I'm a little confused, enough that I watched the episode twice and still am unsure... is that really Hale's daughter? Locked up behind steel doors? Is she Inhuman? Or just trained to wield those circular things that I have no idea what they are. And the robots, did I miss where they came from? They didn't look human/LMD. I've never missed an episode but haven't rewatched earlier seasons either, so I could have. Confused or not, I'm still very glad AoS is back.
  7. Actually I was thinking more of Wasif's post-healing amnesia but that's good too. :-)
  8. Quite often I like the aerial views of LA better than the actual show. :-) B&B wouldn't feel the same to me without them. (But then I live in the Midwest, I'm easy to please that way.)
  9. Episodes 6 and 7 are up. These I actually wish had been full length episodes. I enjoyed the parallel translation scenes a lot. Also, I think we may have seen how/why Catherine has no memory of these events. That does add some tension to the mix. The actor who plays Beal reminds me a little of a young Cary Elwes.
  10. I was looking at a forum for a new show today and realized that Tika Sumpter (Layla) is part of it. Well, her voice is. :-) Never hurts to be part of a genre show, right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Space#Cast http://www.tbs.com/shows/final-space
  11. The cast of Final Space is first rate! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Space#Cast
  12. We're only at the speculating who will attempt to off $Bill stage and I'm already disappointed in the outcome, because I just realized that 1) the guilty party will likely make very little sense and 2) even if it does make sense, there won't be any consequences. And WTF was that stupidity with Ridge telling Sheila to kill Bill for the Forresters? Wouldn't Quinn and Eric having lunch bemoaning what Bill did have worked better? At least more subtle... ETA: TK and KB have no chemistry, so if they are going to be in each others orbit because of this, it's going to grate.
  13. It hurts to defend Steffy but she killed Aly in self-defense - which isn't murder. It was just the hiding it that made her look guilty of murder. I didn't like Ivy's actions (blackmail) in that storyline either. Awful all around...
  14. Tim Matheson seems like a good fit for this show. http://tvline.com/2018/02/05/tim-matheson-joins-good-fight-cast-season-2/

  16. Thanks for the link. It was late last night and then I completely forgot to search for it today. I wish we could have seen more Lucy.
  17. While I totally disapprove of workplace violence, I'd silently cheer either one. I know, I know... the hypocrisy. :-)
  18. Roseanne herself seemed a lot calmer than I expected in the Hollywood Reporter interview. I also got the impression that the revival is much more of a group effort, which is great when you have such a talented bunch of writers and performers.
  19. This show...sigh. Just dropping a golden gun and a session at the gun range in out of nowhere, so subtle! And of course, $Bill has a gold plated hand gun. lol (Not really though, super bad timing with this story line.) Were the hair and wardrobe people mad at Rena Sofer yesterday? Still, she looked gorgeous in spite of it all. And poor Katie, she must really love Wyatt to sign up for the worst MIL ever. (Even when Quinn is being good there's an underlying tension/potential crazy there.)
  20. David Hogg and Cameron Kasky, Florida shooting survivors, are the top-of-show interview guests. Amy Chua, attorney and author, is the mid-show interview guest. The roundtable guests are former Attorney General Eric Holder and Presidential historian, Jon Meacham.
  21. Alas, region blocked for me. (Though it's a good reminder that I wanted to do a complete rewatch before S4 starts to air.) I don't think I remember seeing that ML was leaving but I could have missed it. ETA: I was perusing her Twitter and in January it sounded like she was in the writers room. Lots of tweets about arthritis, so I hope she didn't step down because of health reasons.
  22. Wyatt annoys me quite often but at the same time, I find it interesting when we get into his background and the Quinn/Wyatt dynamics. We haven't gotten a whole lot of that lately, which is probably good for the characters individually but I kind of miss it. And speaking of parental dynamics - Hope has a father. Why can't we have some Hope/Deacon interaction? Honestly, Deacon getting sprung from jail could complicate a lot of lives, not to mention making me happy as well...
