Apparently they filmed an alternate ending to this show, according to the actor who plays Devi's father. 👀

Devi was wearing a half-sari, which is three pieces. Maitreyi has said it was very intentional that the show always put her in half-saris, since the show is portraying a Tamil family and it's very typical for teenage Tamil girls to wear half-saris to cultural events.

The View is also part of ABC's news division and has been since 2014. I don't watch The Today Show, but I'm guessing if they still have writers it's because those writers aren't members of the WGA.

I loved that Stuart included pro-choice, anti-racist, and non-homophobic in his list of non-negotiables. I also wouldn't want to waste my time going on a date with someone who didn't share those same values.

Hmmm. I watched the first episode and was kind of disappointed. This type of show is usually my jam, and I thought it would be really funny because I follow the creator, Shea Serrano's, work and he's a super funny guy, but the humor mostly fell flat for me. I know pilots can often be shaky though, so maybe I'll give it another episode or two before giving up on it completely.

Hulu announced that the second season will drop on June 22. 10 episodes this time instead of 8.

Plot twist: the new American woman for Shreyas is none other than Arica herself. (Seriously though, the show is supposed to be 10 episodes total, so I wonder if they're really bringing in a new match 8 episodes in?)

Welp. So much for any sort of successful match coming out of this show. Danna and Brian were the only couple that showed any sort of potential, but looks like that's done after Brian found out she was a whole three years older than him. I actually felt so bad for Danna. For him to tell her he was never really attracted to her when his actions definitely said otherwise until that point was such a dick move. Didn't think it was possible, but somehow Arica is even worse at this whole matchmaking thing than the so-called experts on Married at First Sight.

I guess I'm in the minority that liked Kimberly and Canaan as friends and was disappointed that the writers had to go there with them. First off, it sucks to see Whitney backstabbed like that. But beyond that, why can't shows ever just let a guy/girl friendship be just that? Not every male/female friendship has some sort of underlying sexual tension to it, and it would have been nice to see a sweet, platonic friendship play out on screen for once. I hope Bela really does transfer (and maybe gets replaced with Priya next season) because her character is completely ruined for me. Making bad decisions is one thing (and more or less expected at that age), but Bela went full-on villain this season doing one selfish thing after another. At least with the Eric screwup and the Foxy story debacle she can say she let her overzealousness get the best of her, but what exactly was her excuse for being such a nasty bitch to that fellow writer who completely idolized her? Really hard to root for her in any way after that. Leighton's personal growth was definitely the highlight of the season for me -- especially loved seeing her stand up for her friends at the Women's Center when Tatum was dissing them. Whitney...all I gotta say is I definitely co-sign with others that hopefully she gets better storylines if the renewal stands for next season.

Renewed for season 3!
