  1. Sauted salmon in a bit of olive & sesame oils, and served with Peanut Sesame Noodles.
  2. Which was her favorite place to renovate? I missed the show.
  3. Women dream of world peace, a safe environment, and eliminating hunger. What do men dream of? Being stuck in an elevator with the Doublemint twins. “The worst time to have a heart attack is during a game of charades.” “The problem isn’t that obesity runs in your family. The problem is no one runs in your family.” I may not be that funny or athletic or good looking or smart or talented. I forgot where I was going with this. It’s weird being the same age as old people

Wha...??? Did they have an encounter? She's not my cup of tea, but if she put that treasonous, nogoodnik down...she's OK!!!!!!
  5. I had cataract surgery on my left eye several years ago. When I went down to the kitchen the next morning, I was stunned at how light the room was.
  6. Maybe we can look it up on copycat recipes. Right now I'm experimenting at creating a creamy pink beverage similar to Starbucks Pink Drink (but I want mine to be better than theirs!!)
  7. I too keep meaning to get to Lidl (how is Lidl pronounced: leedle or li--del?). The ads are so appealing. I thought it was connected/related to Aldi somehow.
  8. Pineapple & Shrimp Fried Rice (wanted to use up the rest of the grilled pineapple).

Sorry...I spoke too soon. She's back to head flippin' again.
  10. Ina's Sicilian grilled swordfish with arugula, grilled pineapple slices, and baked potato cheese "puffs"? (can't recall the name but Wegmans makes them).

Major announcement for those of us driven crazy by Nicholle's head flipping: she's got a slight hairstyle improvement!! Her hair style now sits farther away from the left side so she no longer has to "flip it" away. There used to be a poster at this forum who would give us updates at MSNBC. I wonder if that poster got the word to Nicholle. Hmmm. If so, thanks a million for passing on the word.
  12. Sweet Chili Chicken w/ fresh mint, scallions, & cilantro leaves. And pilaf.
  13. A glass of Chardonnay and Caesar Salad w/ grilled chicken at our little golf club restaurant (on the breezy porch, thank goodness) with my mystery book club. Haven't seen these people since the shutdown. We toasted our getting through such a challenging year.

I'm so sick of pageant hair and unprofessional attire--on certain female TV news people. When I think of the crap that women endured in the early days (heck...the 70's & 80's even), trying to make it in broadcasting news--Barbara Walters, Jessica Savage, etc., it really bothers me to see such casual clothes. We sure don't see the men wearing anything but suits & ties.
  15. Well, they hooked me (probably because I just started really watching this show last year when they were all at home with no one yelling...didn't realize until later on in the show that this was pre-pandemic days). Yeah...Jeff was in his glory with his eggplant sammies, not having to share the stage during his segments.
  16. I hit the mute during her segment. Plus, what she made was so unappealing to me (couscous, IMO, is like shredded cardboard).
  17. Happy anniversary!! Until you feel comfy, it's not worth dining out. We went to an Italian restaurant a couple weeks ago (first time in a year!)...at 1:30 PM. Few people were there but they seated us all far away from each other. We're vaccinated but we're not back to normal life yet.
  18. I think you nailed it! A frittata in a sheet pan? And the veggies each having their own corners? GZ acted as though he loved it (as well as Sunny's "meatloaves"). Either they were surprisingly good or he's missed his calling on Broadway!
  19. Is anyone else having trouble seeing posters' names? I have something that blocks them (unless the name is long, like mine). Where do I go, on this site, to get help?
  20. What was today's show all about--a blast from the past featuring sheet pan recipes, with Jeff manning the fort so he could present his eggplant sammies? At first I thought it was a current show and that Sunny had finally come in from the cold. Strange episode.
  21. I was switching channels (MSNBC & CNN) late this afternoon and thought I caught Jake Tapper saying something like "two hours!" Then, Wolf didn't appear until 6:00. So JT now has a 2 hour show and WB only has one hour? There was a time, not too long ago, when Blitzer was on *all* the time, it seemed.
  22. Ina's Parmesan Chicken with the greens (salad) on top.

Initially, I didn't notice it (or when I did, it was so infrequent & subtle that I just didn't really notice it, much). Now, that swift jerk of her head is way too frequent. So she either needs to get a daggone headband or a haircut (new style) so she won't have to keep jerking her hair back off her face.

It's worse now. She's doing it *all* the time so it has become a very bad, irritating habit. I'd tell her to stop doing it but MSNBC doesn't provide a way to communicate with them
