  1. Right, that was the Bahamian flag at that bar he was at. Plus that sent the Feds to go get Nicholas so Kevin didn't have to worry about him anymore. Actually a pretty good plan, Kevin didn't deserve it but it was nice to see John do that for his brother
  2. What the hell was that? Was this Bloodline's attempt at a "Fly" episode? (Breaking Bad reference). With all the loose ends, unsolved plot lines and more I feel like this was a big waste
  3. I know the Rayburn's are wealthy but how was Meg able to run away to what looked like California and live in a super fancy house, possibly worth more than the Rayburn lodge considering the location? And without anyone knowing?
  4. Ok can someone help me out. I don't think I understood a THING anout this episode. Are john and his wife separated? So Meg just ran away to the ocean? To where? People just accept that she's on a wayward journey? What was the big deal about Eric going to the funeral? I mean 3 people were there who cares? Why did Kevin go on a bender just cause John raised his voice to him? Is he that big of a baby? Why a random 5 month gap? And is John ever going to realize that brooding at every waking moment of the day maybe isn't the most innocent looking thing in the world? Why didn't Meg speak into the phone? Was it even Meg?
  5. Kevin is such an insufferable helpless idiot. Last season he was all like standing up to John telling him they don't need him and now he is back to being completely helpless and cant do a thing without big brother's approval.
  6. This episode is why we should all still have faith in Fargo. Despite the early season slowness and confusion this episode was great. All episode you could feel the tension and suspense. You just knew something big was going to happen. But what makes it great is that it's totally unpredictable as to what exactly will happen. Most shows or movies are fairly predictable at times but never Fargo. I kept on expecting Ray or Nikki to somehow blunder their way into killing one of the henchmen, that's the twist I was anticipating, but alas.
  7. Emmit killing Ray like that was very much reminiscent of season 1 of Fargo when Martin Freeman kills his wife and then calls Malvo. Although this was much more of an accident. Why did Emmit make zero attempt at all to save Ray? I would think he woulda been desperately trying to stop the bleeding anyway possible.
  8. This episode struggled to keep my attention I have to say. I find it funny how many character sin this show seemingly go out of their way to make their own lives as miserable as they possibly can.
  9. I thought for sure Nikki was dead. It's surprising that they didn't touch her face at all. Did they intentionally leave her alive or was it a mistake?
  10. I have to agree with this. The suspense level on this show is very very low at the moment. It got less suspenseful when the Mike/Gus storyline became more fleshed out. We know the eventual fates of every person on that side of the story except for Nacho. And we know where they stand when Breaking Bad Begins and ends, there are really no questions to be answered. So while it is is cool to see all those character again, what is their to accomplish by showing them? And I also do not see the purpose of telegraphing that Nacho will be the one to eventually put Hector into a wheelchair. I feel that it would have been a lot more effective of a shock to just have him do that when it actually happens without any foreshadowing. The two biggest questions of this series are still what happens to Chuck and Kim and that is really what the show ought to be focused on.
  11. One of the slowest episodes of the series yet a lot of important things happened
  12. He played Remus Lupin in Harry Potter. Who of course was a werewolf. Something about Thewlis screams wolffish
  13. But why do they have to show the female officer is clever by making their boss a complete idiot. Almost anyone would look like a genius in comparison. This trend became very popular a few years ago and Netflix original shows expand upon it all the time. The only way that shows seem to be able to show that a woman is pregnant is to make them vomit. Usually the bathroom scenes add nothing to a character or to the plot, yet shows still insist on having them. Some shows ever start off episodes and seasons with a bathroom scene
  14. I am glad that they went ahead and did the hearing in this episode. I was worried they would draw it out for the whole season. But now it appears bigger things are coming this season. Speaking of which, how far away are we from the BB timeline now?
  15. And that is made clear in episode 1 of this show, when "Gene" is nostalgic about the Better Call Saul days. Like those were his good ole days. Not working in the firm in Santa Fe or not even working with Kim and elder law
  16. I didn't think the cell phone battery trick was all that good. Last episode they hinted at Kim having something planned with the tape but instead it was just a Huell playground trick?
  17. I keep on expecting there to be some "aha!" Moment that connects the episodes and characters to get this season sparked and going. Like ohhh they knew what they were doing the whole time! But no signs of such a moment yet. It had better come soon because you can't go halfway through a season without having any connections or interests.
  18. I liked the Planet Y story. Could actually be a very deep sic fi meditation if fleshed out
  19. Wasn't Tad way too young in 1975? He was at most 25, which would mean he was only 60 when he died in the current timeframe, when he looked to be about 75-80.
  20. I like this theory. I still think that there's more going on with Howard than it appears. So far he has been pretty one dimensional, which is unlike the BB/BCS universe. Especially a character like this in which big decisions go through so I doubt he will continue to be so straightforward.
  21. If Howard even has that level of power any more after. This could end up reflecting very badly on him as well as Chuck. This could be intentional in order to deeply mask their motives, so Howard and Chuck don't see it coming. I do wonder why the camera zoomed in on Howard as he told Chuck "item of personal property". It seemed Howard had a reason for using that very particular phrasing, let's see if that plays any role moving forward.
  22. "Allrighy" is by far the stand out song of the season so far. Fit the scene so well and is a really good listen . I haven't really been a fan of the others so far. A couple of the choices have been truly bizarre, almost like they are going out of their way to be weird.
  23. Exactly. Because things had just gone exactly the way he wanted.
  24. It seems like Chuck's illness rears its ugly head when he is in stressful situations or a situation is not going his way. The two most extreme examples being when the Mesa Verde address mistake was revealed and then again at the copy shop. When situations are going well it seems to bother him less. I don't believe he is acting, I think it's just a case of stress magnifying the mental disorder.
  25. Question I forgot to ask. What the hell card game was that that they were playing?
