  1. I have high hopes for Thewlis's character. Seems like he could be a pretty interesting villain. I have to say the song that was played when the female officer (don't know names yet) was searching the house with her rifle and light was absolutely dreadful. Very unpleasant on the ears and completely distracted from the scene. I turned my volume down as low as it could go without being mute during that whole scene.
  2. well New Mexico only has 2 million people and it a pretty large state. 45th in population density of all US states. And keep in mind that almost 50% of the states population lives in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area which is one tiny section of the state land wise.
  3. In Breaking Bad and in this show I used to always find it unrealistic when they would go to roads that had absolutely nobody around for miles. But that was when I lived in the east. Now that I live in Utah I see that it's pretty common in the west. So much empty space and fewer people. I just did a 2.5 hour drive to Capitol Reef national park and I was the only car on the highways for about 90% of the drive. So I find those scenes much more plausible now.
  4. One thing I forgot to mention. It's about time Mike got busted for his car sitting. How many hours have we watched Mike sit in a car to spy in this series? He thinks its the ultimate invincibility shield. I think he forgets that he isn't invisible in there.
  5. He would put Will Kassouf to shame with the table talk. (Any poker fans in here will get me)
  6. It seems that he would be a pretty poor poker player. He gives away a lot with the looks he puts on his face
  7. Unfortunately I doubt that she will get out of it entirely. Considering it seems that she and Jimmy have no relationship anymore by the time Breaking Bad comes around. it has to be something he does to get her in deep trouble.
  8. Very true. Because no matter how much charisma a child has, in the end for parents it always circled back to "how's school?" "How's the job?" "When are you getting married?" Etc. the fact that chuck seemingly didn't have issues in those departments, makes me think their parents had quite a bit of love for Chuck.
  9. I'm guessing that this is the final straw for jimmy regarding his relationship with Chuck. That's good. If that's the case then The writers can no longer use the "Jimmy is enotional toward Chuck" angle anymore to justify wildly stupid actions.
  10. I'm hoping we are hit with some unpredictability in the coming episodes because I'm pretty sure the thread ability last week's episode predicted this episode in full.
  11. Maybe (If Chuck is even alive by that time) but why wouldn't he be worried about that all of Breaking Bad? Even at the end of Breaking Bad when he knows he must run away he is still his old self personality wise. But once he gets to Omaha it's like he changes personality completely.
  12. Is there any reason why "Gene" must live such a miserable life in Omaha? Him being scared out of his britches 24/7 doesn't seem to add up to his character. I mean eating a pathetic fixed lunch by himself on a bench? Is that really necessary?
  13. That's why there still may be some credence to the "Jimmy knew he was being recorded" theory. The way he chooses his words is very carefully. He doesn't really condemn himself terribly in the confession, rather spins most of it back on Chuck. Plus there's the whole thing of him calling Howard directly after leaving the house which we do not know about yet do we? Did he and Howard have some kind of plan against Chuck?
  14. Season 2 started to fall in love with showing Mike do arts and crafts all episode with no real explanation of what he was doing and the end act is there is some kind of big revelation. Looks like season 3 continues to think that is amazing TV. I understand that it's nice to have a show that doesn't always spoonfeed their audience but at the same time I want to have an idea of what is going on. I can't really declare with certainly anything that happened in this episode.
  15. Based on these comments I must be in the minority here, but I actually found the middle episodes to be the most intriguing and not slow at all. The middle episodes had you guessing and had many possibilities open. Each episode ended on a great note that made you wonder what was up. The show peaked with Scott's resurrection scene. For me that was easily the moment of the season, as the beautiful power of the movements was shown and the way they look at Happ with defiance is great. (Great use of music too)
  16. I'm a little surprised to come on here and see pretty much nothing but complaints. Personally I thought the resurrection scene was beautiful and it worked.
  17. I have never liked the, "Anthony losing his mind like a college kid" episodes
  18. Not true. Said candidate may have insulted people but he ra on the positive "Make America Great Again" which some people believed in. Waldo seemingly wanted to destroy everything and thought nothing was good.
  19. Yes.She was trying to get a low price on the new apartment. So money must still be a thing
  20. Bing's soliloquy was nothing short of epic. Some of the best acting I have ever seen. And yet despite all of that passion he was simply bought and packaged like everyone else. He chose himself in the end. Brilliant episode
  21. This is the worst episode. Waldo was far too vile and crude for him to ever get that popular. Basically all he did was swear. He wasn't clever, he wasn't funny and he had not a single platform to run on except "fuck you". He had the insults of a grad school kid at best.
  22. One thing I still don't understand about this episode is the very end. Why was the PM's wife giving him the cold shoulder? and for a full year?
  23. One thing that I found annoying about this episode is that they never explored any possibilities to stop the bees. Didn't they go by facial recognition? How about try wrapping your head in towels or wearing a mask long before the bees actually see you? And as far as the prime minister why not put him in a submarine and send it to the bottom of the ocean, surely the bees could not go through the ocean. I think it's safe to say, no muslim women died in the bee release
  24. This was certainly the "Live Free or Die" Episode of Narcos (breaking bad fans will relate)
  25. Definitely. Say what you will about Joffrey but there's no way the High Sparrow would have been able run King's Landing if Joffrey had been on the throne. He would have demanded that they all be beheaded before they even thought about trying a maneuver.
