  1. Best backstory in a longtime. I agree with the above poster that I think it's better when they show why the person is in prison. Boo's story did;t show that. There were some throwaway lines with the bartender guy about sports betting which I guess is why she is in there. Piper is becoming immensely hate-able.
  2. Hands down the worst sex scene of the show thus far between any two characters. I was watching a porn of Georgia Jones and her female roommate the other day. The two girls in that one "hate" each other and hurl insults and even some slapping and pushing. But of course pretty soon they are all over each other and clothes are coming off. That's great for a porno. But then I saw nearly the same exact scene happen between Alex and Piper on a serious drama show. Appallingly bad.
  3. I totally understand where you are coming from. Every character has been softened so much, that it is no longer believable. The makers of the show seem to be trying to appeal so much to the audience that they do not want to risk any of these characters becoming disliked. They hardly even have faults anymore. Healy, Pennsatucky, Crazy Eyes, Taste and Pussey's 3rd wetl (don't know her name)... all of which used to be pretty unsavory characters, now are all on redemption tracks.
  4. Unimpressive episode. The backstories are becoming pretty predictable, I could have predicted Boo's almost exactly a couple seasons ago. I don't see where any of the lots are going right now. Bennett and Nicki seem to have disappeared into thin air killing tow plot lines cold. Alex and Piper aren't adding a thing. Seriously, what's the conflict here right now?
  5. Really hope this gets better. This episode was a bunch of tired and weak pulls at the heartstrings with overdone storylines and fabricated new ones. Every character seems stuck in mud.
  6. so like, is Piper even in this show anymore? She's almost like a secondary character these days. Weak start to the season. Very soft and no story they broke the law.
  7. Frank is not Georgian. He is a South Carolinian. Please don't rob my home state of one of the very few characters we get in a TV show or a movie.
  8. It's very simplistic. Doug apparently is "just a white man" and Rachel is "just a bisexual woman"
  9. I dont think that it was always Doug's intention to pretend to release Rachel. I think he was fully hell bent on finishing her for good and he was stone cold the whole way, determined not to let her affect him. Her last minute pleading finally got to him and spoke to his "redeemed side" (I guess?). Then he went to have a think at the grave. His conscience gave one last extinction burst of obsession with Rachel with made him let her go. Then as he's driving away, stone cold Stamper returns and finishes it. And that's who Doug is now fully. I think that last gasp was the very last of his soul.
  10. They should have had Stamper stumble upon Walter White's money while digging a grave for Rachel.
  11. In season 1 and 2 Frank was a vile character and he stomped down anyone in his path. This season despite the fact that you knew his history of how he got to office, he made a whole lot of sense in pretty much every argument he was in. He was right in the arguments with Petrov, he was more than fair and reasonable with him. He made good points in his arguments with Jackie and Dunbar and most importantly he was completely right in the final fight with Claire. I agree with the poster above who said that they didn't buy the Remy/Jackie love story. I felt like that was a fling equivalent to the writer and Baldwin this season, not some kind of one true love thing. I HATED the writer. He was arrogant and douchey to the extreme. I hated how the writers made him an important part of the reason that Claire leaves Frank.
