  1. Tim, Game night moves fast, you can't stop and try to make the losers feel ok about not getting an answer.
  2. Someone needs to explain the whole reality show rules to them. After the "reunion" you are supposed to STAHP talking and go home.
  3. I think that's a very valid point--Keenan in particular seems to be recommending that the comic pick one consistent persona for their set and to stay with that--which speaks to them looking for someone who could be in a sitcom. I thought the guy with the snake jokes would be good on Parks and Rec...he'd make a great civil servant character.
  4. I agree, the balls lady was not that funny. Her outfit was about the funniest part--she was going for the quirky. The only ones who made it through that I thought were memorable were the foster kid guy and the really hyper dad talking about his teenage kids. I'm not sure I would want to see a lot more of that but he at least had a cohesive set of jokes. I want to see what the guest judges bring to things--I saw Wanda Sykes on Ellen and she said it was really fun.
  5. This was like Toddlers and Tiaras with taller contestants.
  6. I don't remember Amanda, so I'm voting for her. I remember Ken and Alexander. No thank you.
  7. Lifetime is going to have a new fashion show called Threads....likened to "Chopped but with Fashion" and Christian Siriano is the host. I'm sure it will be fierce.
  8. Oh, HD! Now we can see them popping their zits in high definition.
  9. I've missed Roseanne on my TV! I know she can be as nutty as a fruitcake, but I love her nonetheless. She is someone who is aging well--I loved her show Roseanne's Nuts and I wish she had something else on so I would see her more often. I think so far she's been fair, and accurate in her judging. I am not impressed with Russell, and Keenan ...I can take him or leave him.
  10. I want to know who's President. If it's Hillary, Leslie would be soooooo happy.
  11. I'm a little surprised that Bravo didn't shove Cat Ommanny from Real Housewives of DC onto this show. She seemed to fit this bitchy and proud of it persona that these ladies have. So far everyone seems to be sooooooo bored with everything. We'll see how that plays out. I did enjoy seeing all the London sights for what that's worth.
  12. So time wise, I'm thinking this drunk Sonja lines up with the pictures of her drunk in the Hamptons last summer looking really bad. I wish George wasn't so damn nasty so she could marry him for all his money and not be broke and scared like this. It's hard to watch. I think LuAnn really kind of hit bottom after her divorce, and getting caught on camera with the pirate, and I think she and Jacques are faking it for filming. Now she seems to be having a real upswing in her life, and it's not because of who she married--she's got some design stuff, and she seems really happy for the first time on the show. I always felt like she had such a big mask on when she was "the Countess".
  13. I thought there was something about how the cards that the judges could read were printed. You know those plastic pictures where there are fine grooves in them and if you tilt in one direction you see one picture and if you look from another angle you see something else? I have no idea what you call them but I thought that is how the cards worked. There was something wavy or textured in how the print that made me think that.
  14. Caprice's face barely moves at all. I'm not convinced she even blinks.
  15. I flipped to the show today and the minute the co-host started talking I went back to a Law & Order rerun. Nope no way.
  16. I've read all the books, and the tv show definitely presents the story differently but I still liked the books because it gives watching the show some structure for me--I feel like I am seeing a very elegant, deeply detailed version of things that have only been dealt with very quickly in the books or previous movies. For me I am preferring the tv show, but it is a totally different experience than reading the books or watching earlier movie versions.
  17. I loved it. I was in college about this time and my computer experience was with punch cards and a main-frame that was bigger than my apartment. I remember getting our first computers at work after I graduated , and I was a DOS girl from day one until just a few years ago :). I would like to see more of the 80's stuff a la Mad Men and the 60's but it was a good start, and I love anything Lee Pace is in.
  18. I'm praying Whoopi doesn't take any side gigs any more. I just can't with the idea of the show with just Sherri and Jenny.
  19. Now we know what Hannibal's doing while we wait for season 3. https://twitter.com/ZooHannibal
  20. Oh my. So many highlights. JLo's hair dancing ---she still looks good but she's starting to dance like she's 40. The hair tosses give you a chance to catch your breath. Ryan, your mother and Randy betrayed you. I'd write them out of the will. You are a really good host of a live singing show. Never let them get you to sing again. Major props for giving it a shot, but play to your strength from now on. So many of the early returnees I have no memory of at all. Sam got better after he got voted off. I can't believe how much Philip Phillips has grown --I know he was sick and in pain during his season, but he has really learned how to put on a show. Good for him. Malaya got a make-over. I seriously didn't recognize her and she didn't scream --John Legend probably wouldn't have any of that. Kiss? Seriously? Sprinkles and Caleb looked like little elves without the big booties. Judges & Randy. It's really interesting when JLo is the best singer in a number like that. At some point they seemed to give up on the singing part and just do it as an instrumental number and Keith was awesome. Jena and her mom looked honestly surprised. I forget sometimes how young she really is.
  21. I think Josh made his win easier for Adam to take by including him with Usher in thanking them for their coaching. Very graceful and generous. I was good with the finale, but the whole thing seemed a little more random than past shows. I was not really that wow'd by the performances and special guests. I did like Ed and One Republic's songs, but the rest were not that exciting for me. Happy that Usher won one to break the Blake/Adam lock on the trophy.
  22. I never watched until the past year, and I started to fill the void left for me by Breaking Bad coming to an end. I watched all the prior seasons on Netflix and then started watching the past 2 seasons live.
  23. I honestly didn't care that much about any of the finalists this year. I think Grimmie will win because of her internet popularity, but I'm hoping Josh will win because he's on Usher's team and I want someone other than Blake or especially Adam to win. I have not voted this season....last time I voted was for Michelle --another Usher contestant, but I would pick Josh out of these 3.
  24. Here's an interesting interview with Fuller about what he has coming in Season 3 http://collider.com/hannibal-season-3-details-bryan-fuller/
