  1. Makes you wonder why Aneesa didn't call her out for her accent like she did Cara Maria. I too thought her accent was way worse on the after-show. I thought she needed subtitles it was so bad.
  2. This makes me happy. While I didn't hate the new format, I didn't love it either. I'm glad to be returning to the original format!
  3. I am beyond annoyed with Wirkus idiots. Remind me again why Ashley had to be there for most of the reunion when she was only there for a couple weekends. Her thoughts don’t matter and she should have been escorted off the stage after the Carl and Lauren relationship segment. I can’t handle how they and Lindsay just feed off each other and just try to talk over and faster than everyone else. Andy needs to shut that down. I am also confused about Stephen’s bull excuses for why he decided to publicly talk about Carl’s story. On the show he said it put him in the middle of Carl and Lauren and then at the reunion he says it’s because Carl said it amongst a group of his friends so he thought it was no big deal. If it’s no big deal why did Lauren need to know and how did it put him in the middle? The boy can’t keep his story straight because he’s nothing but a shit-stirring gossip who lacks a heart and common decency. The truth is he wanted to hurt Carl and he knew telling this story to Lauren would do it. The Wirkus doofuses and Lindsay also can’t keep the story straight. They lay into Amanda because according to them she only contacts them when Kyle is gone. When Amanda points out friendship is a two way street and they don’t reach out they change their tune and say she doesn’t reach out and she blamed them for her relationship which wasn’t true at all. They’ve seen all the episodes before the reunion so they know it wasn’t her and they know she was not the one to use the word bully but they still blame her for it because she’s somehow to blame for Kyle’s actions because they are dating. Pretty sure Lauren’s head would explode if the same standard was placed on her when she was dating Carl. I felt so bad for Amanda because I don’t think she likes confrontation and all those idiots know how to do is gang up on everyone. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just pull her aside and have a conversation with her. Carl has managed to grasp this very basic concept and always pulls the person aside and talks with them so I don’t understand why these shrews can’t figure it out. It doesn’t matter if Amanda and Kyle are putting on happy faces the next day. It’s still possible to have a frank conversation about what happened the night before but I guess that wouldn’t make for great tv for them. I think Amit’s only really contribution was pointing out how ludicrous the shrew’s claim was that there wasn’t any tension. It’s a shame Andy didn’t ask him for more of his thoughts. Lindsay and Everett are back together but Lindsay doesn’t want to admit they are back together on tv because then she can’t be the “boss bitch” she claimed to be a few months ago. That unhealthy relationship won’t end until one of them moves far away. I’d also bet money that Lauren and Carl will hook up again in the future and she will again think he loves her when all he wants is a piece of ass. She’ll cling to any guy who tells her nice things. Lauren needs to learn how to blend her makeup. Her face and neck were very clearly bronzed within an inch of her life while the rest of her was a more normal skin shade. It was disturbing to me. Lindsay needs style help ASAP. Bigger boobs can’t fix bad style. The girl either can’t or doesn’t know how to properly dress herself to present herself the best. It’s tragic. If the show comes back, I really only want to see Carl, Kyle and Amanda. I could take Amit but he’s going to have to start bringing more to the table.
  4. It was the worst, most bogus excuse for betraying someone's trust. I still don't believe he sees himself as the villain in what happened when he is most definitely the villain. Nothing in what Carl told him would make it difficult to keep being a friend with Lauren because what happened had zero to do with Lauren. He just wanted to spread some gossip. Man, I really cannot stand him and I hope he gets roasted at the reunion. Carl shouldn't have lied to Lauren but Lauren never should have known about it in the first place unless he decided to tell her. This has probably been the thing that has made me warm to him the most. He's stuck his neck out for Amanda when he really didn't have to knowing they'd just turn their bile on him as soon as he uttered a peep but he did it anyway. I respect him for doing that. I'm actually believing he's trying to change.
  5. I did too, lol. I've also been watching all the recent clip episodes of favorite moments. I'm excited to see these guys again. Anyone know why Sam isn't going to be on?
  6. I'm not so sure I'm really liking this goldmine secondary storyline. I like the focus being on the settlement and the women navigating it. I don't particularly care about some map of a goldmine that may or may not have led to a man's death that we never saw and don't know. Also, who is the other English guy that is in the Native American camp? Not the brother, the other one, and who is he to this whole story. I've had a hard time following what is going on there. I really do like Jocelyn and I hope she'll continue to get the better of Farlow and Redwick. I imagine she has a very dark side and it'll be interesting to see when it finally comes out in full. So far, I'm loving this show and need to finish up the remaining episodes but I'm afraid of how long my wait will be once I finish this season.
  7. Exactly! I am not certain that the beat down would have occurred the way Swole thought it would have. Most people in the pod were sick of Swole and her antics and I think, at that point, Jaclin was very well liked amongst her room and a few others. You also have to remember that Angele was ready to defend Jaclin as well which means her room probably would have sided with her as well. I'm not so sure anyone actually liked Swole and once it was obvious that she didn't have the support of the pod, I think any friends she may have thought she had would have melted away rather quickly. No one wants to be on sinking ship. That said, I have a lot of respect for Jaclin choosing to drop out to avoid others fighting on her behalf. I just hate that when she was finally in the best position to learn some good intel, she had to drop out because of Stephanie's antics. Stephanie may have made it to the end but she failed at the overall goal of the experiment which was to gather as much information as possible. By taking out Jaclin and, I think, alienating a lot of women in the pod, she didn't really accrue that much information. She just made it to the end, that's it, which wasn't really the overreaching point. She's too stupid and self-involved to see that though.
  8. I think Angele needs some serious therapy and I think she is incredibly naive and gullible but I don’t think she’s a hood rat. She’s made poor choices but I think at heart she’s a good person.
  9. My husband is in the National Guard and, yes, they are activated by the Governor or the President depending on the duty they are called up for (State or Federal). A Governor can call up the National Guard but there has to be a State Emergency called first. If there was a riot or standoff at the prison then maybe the National Guard would be called up to beef up the already existing security but the situation would have to be extreme. I highly doubt the National Guard would be called up because of a lack of employees. The National Guard members have jobs and many of the individuals in the MOSs (jobs) that would be used in a situation like that already tend to be in law enforcement so you'd likely not help yourself as much as you might think. I really loved the Rookie show and wish it would come back. Like you, I found it more real and authentic than 60 days in. I was truly afraid for some of those corrections officers.
  10. I just got an email from my local PBS station and it said since I am a donor I will now be able to stream Jamestown. It said it will not air on my PBS station though. If anyone else is a donor, check and see if you can stream it too.
  11. I was wondering the same thing. Especially since she seemed fine when Megan first confronted her in the parking lot.
  12. I liked the episode okay. I'm glad they are showing that Megan has some PTSD after what happened to her and that she's not okay with what Kyle did to her. I hated that she fired her agent. I hope we will see her again because I really like her and she's the only person in her life who isn't tied in with the cult. Outside of that, I got nothing. The episode definitely needed something.
  13. Am I reading that right in that only those 3 Iron Chefs will be appearing?
  14. I actually liked Jemmye on the After Show. She really is quick witted and she wasn't shy about spilling tea (granted it wasn't all that great for me since I never watched Teen Mom but I still love that she's down to spill). Marie was Marie so not much to see there. I wish they'd get a better host then Nessa. She's just not good.
  15. You know, I have often wondered the same thing. It's not just the participants but the actual inmates who we've seen doing drugs out in the open, or at least, where the cameras can see it happening. I've often wondered if the producers do not share the video of what is happening inside of the pods until the experiment is over. I just can't fathom that the warden wouldn't be doing something if he knew and could see how obvious and out in the open the drug use is. They also seem to be oblivious to most of what the participants are talking about in their exit interviews even though we've clearly seen it from what the show has captured. I would guess the producers may mention things if there is a danger to the participants but otherwise I think they keep their mouths closed. At least that is my theory.
  16. I believe he was still in the room when Ashley walked away after throwing the watermelon. Ashley then came back a few minutes later and started berating her sister for cleaning it up. Again, I'm not defending what Ashley did at all. She shouldn't have done it, period. My only point is that as a friend I would've stayed and helped my other friend clean up the mess or I would be in Ashley's face telling her to get in there and clean up her own mess in defense of said friend. I just wish Carl would actually be loyal and present for his friends.
  17. I don't know what the hell was going through Stephen's mind when he decided to spill Carl's secret as a way of leading into how Carl did him wrong. It made no sense and seems to have nothing to do with anything. Unless Carl said the best head he got was from Stephen then I don't know why Stephen is bringing it up. It's not Carl's fault that he is not into Stephen and whether Carl is straight, gay or bi-sexual it doesn't seem like it would matter because he's just not into Stephen. I actually feel bad for Carl and I would've just walked out and told Stephen to never contact or speak to me again because he's a shit person not worth knowing. That said, I still don't care for Carl. While I think Ashley throwing the watermelon was next level crazy, I think her point in yelling at Lauren cleaning it up was that Carl didn't bother to help her. He left her there all alone to clean it up. I actually felt bad for her in that moment. He should've been there helping her. That's what you do as a friend. He wasn't even yelling at Ashley for being a crazy person, he just exited stage left. That will always be Carl's problem. He will always run away when the other person really needs him. He's a good time Charlie not the kind of guy for a long-lasting relationship. While I think the social media posting was sweet, I think it'll just be more false hope for Lauren. Poor Amit. Getting the stink eye from Stephen has to be frustrating. Amit seems to be a pretty chill dude so I'm surprised he hasn't chosen to stay back a weekend like Danielle to get away from these crazies. I like Kyle and I like Amanda but she can do better. Boy needs to grow the hell up. I'm good if I never see another Wirkus again.
  18. I found it interesting that when Jaclyn tapped out Stephanie was still trying to make it seem like Jaclyn was a problem in the pod. It seemed more like Jaclyn was well liked enough in the pod that everyone was ready to back her up without her even asking for it. Nate is the only other inmate I’ve seen get that same kind of support. She may not have been Miss Polpular but it seems like she might’ve created some real relationships with these women. It’ll be interesting to see what happens and gets said at the reunion.
  19. I have to say that I like them a lot more now that I’ve seen them on Amazing Race. I’m happy for them.
  20. Anybody know when the new season will start? I remember seeing previews on Bravo in January about the new season but no new date has been given. It's stupid cold here so watching these idiots in the Med was going to be my hourly escape.
  21. I looked for Loren on Twitter and couldn't find her. I do wish them well because I do like Alexi.
  22. I also think Victor's strategy wasn't a good one. He wasn't getting nearly as much water out of his tank as Brad. I'm not sure why he didn't change up what he was doing and copy Brad. It was clear it wasn't working for him. I had hoped the breaking of the glass at the bottom was going to be harder and Victor would be able to make up some ground but it appears it was relatively easy to break. Ugh, I HATE Natalie on this show. I really can't remember whether I liked her or not on Big Brother because I can't see past how much I dislike her on here. I'm glad Devin called her out and wouldn't let her just lie to his face. It seemed everyone in the kitchen was in agreement. I don't think he was mean to her about it; he just wasn't going to let her lie to his face and go along with it. In many ways, she is doing what Victor was doing by trying to be friendly to everyone except Victor is actually a nice guy and was probably sincerely trying to create friendships. Natalie has no interest beyond her own. Her running to John and crying about how Devin's tone is different when talking to her versus when John is around was complete crap and just proved Devin's point in the first place. I hope Devin is able to continue to get under John's skin and hopefully he'll get some traction going and get John and Natalie thrown into an elimination. I wish Brad and John and Natalie and Britni were thrown into an elimination together and whoever wins would then be out on the next elimination. I can't stand either of those couples. I'm beginning to think I'm not going to like the Cara Maria and Kyle romance either. I'm not sure why all these people think they are secretly running the show when they are lockstep with what John wants them to do.
  23. I think CT would be a great host at the reunion. I could totally see him going off script, like he did with Jenna on this episode, and really putting some of these idiots on the hot seat. It would be so fun to watch because CT has no fucks to give.
