Looks like the new season is set to air on September 3.

It airs on Lifetime on July 10 according to my DVR. I’ve seen previews for it while watching Married at First Sight.

Alton announced on Twitter that the premier date for Good Eats: The Return will be August 25 at 10:00 eastern.

I was reading the comments from the link you posted and someone mentioned that Zack had been exposed for taking a bribe. Does anyone know more information about this? I must have completely missed it.

I don't think so. I noticed they were on bikes in some of the shots. You can cover a lot of miles on a bike and, depending on the terrain, it can be relatively easy.

That is the same knife I own thanks to Anthony Bourdain. My husband had read that very same article and then got me the knife for our anniversary. I absolutely love it and use it as my primary knife.

This is what I find so fascinating about this show. I can't understand why more of these couples don't have some real talk when the cameras go away. Maybe they do and are just pretending but in some of these cases it really doesn't seem like it. I am pretty sure while watching this my face looks exactly like AJ's when he found out Kate and Luke and, I think, Will and Jasmine, said they hadn't really talked about decision day. Like, "What?!" "How?" It boggles my mind. Outside of people like Luke, I think most people would be pretty honest if the cameras and "experts" weren't in their faces and would be open to a real dialogue about a future and how to handle the craziness but it's like these people don't do it.

And no Carter. I wonder if they've broken up.

The one interesting thing I learned from watching the after show was that apparently Paulie and Kyle were relatively cool when Cara wasn't around. Hunter and Day said they'd be laughing and talking without any problems and then Cara would come in the room and it was as though she'd be reminding Paulie that he had to hate Kyle. They all thought she got off on seeing Paulie and Kyle go after each other so she kept the feud alive. I had the same exact thought. He's been a ghost in that house so the first time he got a talking head I knew it was the death knell for him and Jenna. I do like Gus but I'm not sure he's cut out for this show. Jenna seems to lack any fire in her that she used to have on these challenges. Honestly, this reminds me of Amanda. I don't like the look on her and I don't like it on Bear. I can't help it, I love me some Wes. That said, every season, I am so happy when he is on and I look forward to seeing him but as the season progresses I always find myself shaking my head and thinking to myself "calm down Wes, you aren't that good" and "you haven't done anything yet Wes to be congratulating yourself so much." I just can't bring myself to get too annoyed with him. I guess it's because I always feel like he's winking at us, like he knows its a load of bull but he's having fun and playing along.

To the bolded, I do agree that she has somewhat of a flat affect when talking but what I did notice while they were watching their wedding video is how much she used to laugh and giggle. I hardly ever hear her do that anymore which just adds to all the sadness around her. Even that small little bit of life has been strung out of her. Luke killed her joy. It's sad.

Correct. He could’ve hurt himself on his deployment that then made it so he could no longer be deployed.

It’s a bit strange but I will say that come deployment time there does seem to be more discharges than normal. I think part of it is that a lot of different testing (medical related) start happening to find out if people are deployable or not. If they find some condition that makes you non-deployable then you’re out. My husband’s old LT had this happen to him. He was sent to training and some testing came back and they decided he was non-deployable so he was discharged. It’s possible something similar happened to Jax or he could’ve somehow injured himself in some way that made him non-deployable.

Things like this really piss me off about people. The court system should not be used because you want an apology. An Order of Protection is for people who fear for their safety. If an apology is all it takes to make you feel better than I don't think you were ever in actual fear for your safety. Tasha shouldn't have to have a court record because your feelings are hurt that you didn't get an apology (one you don't actually deserve, mind you).

When does this show air?

For some reason I thought they said that the twist was that they were going to have 2 shots at the veto until the end. I'm usually multitasking when I watch so I must have misunderstood.

Are they still going to have the Mooch veto thing?

Honestly, I did too. I had no idea that is how they figured it out but, in my defense, I am pregnant now for the first time and I had to do IVF so my last menstrual cycle isn't going to tell you anything.

I don't really know who to believe but the MAFS people have always claimed that the Order of Protection was filed after they did the background screening. It could be a cya thing, which I tend to believe, or they could be telling the truth, which I do not believe. Pick your poison I guess, lol.

That is sad to hear. I liked Bearnaise. Have you been to the taqueria? Is it any good?

I was watching an old episode of Iron Chef and guess who was Cat Cora’s sous chef? None other than Richard Blais. I was not expecting that at all.

I’ve eaten at Good Stuff Eatery multiple times and have eaten at Bearnaise. I don’t remember any entree vegetarian options at Bearnaise but my visit has been several years ago so things may have changed since then. I’m pretty positive Good Stuff Eatery had at least a couple options.

Apparently JC Penny won’t be carrying any of the winning looks.
