The thing that strikes me most about Nurie and Nathan is that they both look so OLD. They easily look like a late 20s/early 30s couple. They both need a good scrubbing and some better styling. Desperately.

My argument is that posting constantly on social media is the norm for their age group; period. The fact that most people their age, who are not on TV shows, do it themselves rather than having a photographer do it is irrelevant when you consider the fact that they ARE on a television show. Now, if after they stop filming they still hire someone to document their life; it will be weird. But is she happy with her new life? Because she seems to be; whereas she always seemed to be straining to get away from her Duggar life. I just don't understand this desire to have these people live a life that "we" (again, ubiquitous) find fulfilling. If it works for them and they aren't spouting their hate, I just can't work up any outrage over their lifestyle.

Normal people also aren't filming a TV show. Of course normal people don't hire a photographer, but they DO document their lives via picture form.

I think it's so amusing that "everyone" (ubiquitous) wanted Jinger to break free. To go forth and be as close to normal as possible for a Duggar. Now...she's doing that and it's still not good enough. There is not a single person who is a friend/family member on FB/Instagram who is in the age range of Jinger and Jeremy who don't do just what these two are doing. It's what this age group does, they stream their lives. I could go down my timeline right now and find a family member or friend who has a picture of breakfast, coffee break, lunch, dinner, then date night. These people (millennials) live their lives in front of cameras. Is just a sign of the times. I don't agree with these people's opinions on life issues. But commenting on their social media led lives is just so silly to me. They aren't doing anything that any other 20s/early 30s couple would do as far as FB/Instagram/Twitter.

A huge pet peeve of mine is when babies are taken outdoors without anything on their feet when it's not summer. Please put something on that baby's feet!

I think that the parent not picture likely takes the picture where only 1 parent is pictured. Plus it's clear that they post pictures days/weeks after events actually happened. So it's possible that these photos were taken when a family member or friend was around. Anyway, I actually like Felicity's little dress. I think in general they dress her very nicely. Not too overtly girly but still super cute.

I think naming the baby Bella is in extremely poor taste considering Joy's loss. Why would she do that? It's already going to be painful for Joy, no matter what she said about being happy for her siblings. Now she has to see a baby girl that same age and basically the same name on a regular basis. Lauren has zero empathy.

Ok maybe i'm crazy, but I think i've always blamed Mechelle more for what happened to her daughters and not exposing it. It just seems like she always favored Josh more and even back in the early episodes it was clear he was her favorite. I've also always felt as if JB, for all his faults actually loves his kids. I think Mechelle is the one that has been the guiding force in what is and isn't allowed and the path these kids have taken. I know their whole "headship" thing but I think she's the puppet master.

I'm sorry but there are some EXTREMELY stupid cops. I have a lot of family who live in small towns; oh the stories I could tell. That said, I don't think he'd go that route because it would require several things: 1) He could end up with a female partner or boss 2) He wouldn't be on call to his family 3) He would be subject to mainstream rules/regulations. So far we haven't seen an adult Duggar willing to pull that far away from the way they grew up.

She's shown her knees previously. The big difference that I can see in this dress is that it's much more figure hugging. From the picture where Jed is in the middle you can clearly see an outline of her bottom. Surprised that they let that stand considering their need to "nike" everything. On a side note, sinner twin must not tow the line very well. He's MUCH better looking than his brother and if they haven't pushed him forward into the public eye there has to be a reason. Jed looks just like Smuggar; he looks years older than his twin.

First of all it was Jack. Secondly, he accepted the apology right away and said that he didn't want to talk about it anymore until he had time to process it. That's it. He didn't make Jack wait he said "I don't want to go on about this until I process it". But yes, let's feel sorry for the person that made the thoughtless comment because he was made to reflect on it rather than the person who was hurt by the comment. 🙄

This is such a pet peeve of mine! I HATE when people swim in their street clothes. It's so disgusting. Whenever i'm at any pool, I will admit to being "that" person that reports people for it. It's just so ugh.

I count Josiah in an entirely different category. His entire spirit and being is warped. It wouldn't have mattered who he married (female) in my opinion. Derek may be many things, but I think Jill is happy with him. Even if it's a misguided happiness, I think she's satisfied with her partner. I think Ben and Jessa do not like each other. I just do not see any genuine feeling between then at all. That's what I mean about being miserable. I agree that they both love their kids and seem to be good with them. But whenever they have to interact, I don't see any joy.

This thread needs a new title since it's no longer applicable. How about "The Seewalds: A lesson in being careful what you wish for". Because out of all the Duggars excepting Josh/Anna I think these two are the most miserable together and I think it's only going to get worse as additional kids come along.

I personally think that Jinger started wearing pants because she wanted to. I know some think that Jeremy controls her, but I don't see it. I think he's definitely all about their image and may say something if she wore something that he felt was really off, but I don't think he's intervene otherwise. The one who I think is secretly controlling/hard on his wife is actually Ben. I work in an industry where we see a lot of women in abusive situations. A lot of times the men who seem the most passive are really the ones to watch out for. Something about the way Ben and Jessa interact just always gives me a shiver. I think that Jeremy probably said "wear what you want" and that was it. As far as her tears, I think that these adults are all warped by their parents and can't be expected to have normal reactions to a lot of things. They will probably just start to be "normal" when they've been away from their parents' influence for a minimum of 10 years.

This is the first time we've seen her post pictures of being out and about with someone else other than Jeremy. That's progress, but she really does need to find a mom's group (although those things can be sooo toxic).

Wow Izzy is TALL. My son is 5 and he's still in a 5 point harness booster because he doesn't meet the height requirements for a belted booster. But I see that Izzy's legs are already meeting the "can hang down over the seat" rule. Goodness.

Felicity looks sleepy. I don't thing Jana looks older, but the picture quality is terrible. I also don't think J and J would have her out as a nanny. I think they have really enjoyed their small family and not having to deal with a lot of Duggars. I do think that she may be out there to get the F away from her family. There's a deeper story lurking with Jana. There's simply no way in the world that some fundie man hasn't sought her out as a wife. They don't care about personality; they don't care about anything other than: female, fundie, can have kids. Either JB has refused every single suitor who has applied to him or she has. If JB has done it, then she has to hate him, like deep down in her soul. No matter how she was raised, if he's keeping her single for his own reasons, she has to loathe him. I know that people would just say "well she should leave" but in her mind, she probably can't. On the other hand, if she is the one refusing suitors, there's a reason behind it, and she could be at the point where she's like "I'm 30 and i'm done". I suspect these next few months will be very revealing when it comes to Jana.

Just coming to post on the phone thing. I got my 11 pro on the same day it came out. I just traded in my 8 (i'm always an iPhone release behind because I wait till I have a free trade-in) and I pay the remainder in monthly installments. Most people I know do the same thing.
