  1. Yeah I think that he knows it's serious and he wears a mask except when it could lose him his sponsorship. I'm very curious to see if anything changes with this family once Jeremy is finished his seminary work. Once he actually has his degree, I wonder if he'll go the way of some of the megachurches that are really popular these days. They make sure to be very focused on the new testament and don't delve as much into the judgement aspect of things. It's more about each person's connection to Christ. Time will tell.
  2. I think it's just so ridiculous that they stick leggings on these little girls.
  3. I actually thought it was tongue in cheek of Jeremy. Also Gabby is definitely still actively following them, she was one of the first people to respond to the picture of Jinger with both girls.
  4. They definitely have iPhones and you can snap pictures all day without ever unlocking it. Not to mention, Felicity may know his password. I use a very simple passcode on my phone because it's locked only in case it falls into strangers hands, I don't care if my son has access. He could unlock it by 2 and regularly does so now. I don't have snapchat on his iPad so he uses my phone for it.
  5. That was really creepy and the child that said science was especially nervous, notice the way she rubbed her hands against the desk. Something more than just normal fundy crazy goes on in that house. Poor kids.
  6. Well he's 3...I think his math in the video is pretty advanced for a 3 year old but it doesn't even matter. No matter how smart he is, it will go to waste because he'll never be allowed to do anything with those skills.
  7. Regarding SNAP benefits, in most states there is no work requirement for Food assistance, just for cash. So they would not have to show that they work in order to benefit, which I'm sure they do and consider it their right.
  8. This is a nice picture and I think that they could definitely go the true Hollywood route and put Felicity in front of the cameras. It will be interesting to see if that happens.
  9. I should clarify not that I feel like they'll be some breakout feminists but rather that they'll have a much more "normal" upbringing. Time will tell.
  10. I know they went to Arkansas but I thought it was at some sort of event/lunch? I can't recall any pictures/videos of her amongst the other kids in one of those situations where there seems to be no supervision at all but the lost girls. I hope they stay somewhat in the public eye just so that I can see how Lissy interacts with her other cousins as she grows up. For Jill's boys is a bit different, because males have more freedom in their world. So Izzy and Sam having more experiences than their male cousins won't be as stark as the differences I expect will exist between Jinger's girls and their female cousins.
  11. Felicity looks really cute in that picture and I bet Jordyn is going to be so sad to go home. Imagine going from that relatively calm environment and focused attention to being one of the hoards of kids at the TTH. On another note, how often has Felicity experienced the TTH? I feel like we haven't seen her amongst all of those children since she was mobile. If/when that happens, she's going to be shell-shocked.
  12. I like EvangeLINE but I also prefer CaroLINE and MadeLINE over the Lyn or Leen versions.
  13. I don't think the Jo matters at all because unlike hick Jessa who actively goes around calling her daughter "sister" or "Ivy Jane", I don't see Jinger and Jeremy using her middle name at all. It will just be Lissy and whatever nickname they choose.
  14. If the name is Amelia I imagine the nickname will be either Mellie or Mia. All of the Amelia's I've ever encountered (school system) go by either one of those.
  15. Jordyn is in the Jean's jacket.
  16. Well Ivy definitely has all of Felicity's hand me downs. Unfortunately they can't just let her wear them without leggings, god forbid!
  17. They said they've been courting for 14 months, that means they started when that boy was 16 years old. Poor kid.
  18. I don't get the anger at Jinger for saying that she's working. Stay at home mothers do a lot of work, just because women stay home doesn't mean they lay around with their feet up eating bonbons. I really dislike that characterization.
  19. I don't have an issue with food on home tables that have cleaned. Completely different than what JRod does with public tables. I always put stuff right in front of my son either in a highchair or at the table when he was that young. Adding utensils and/or bowls/plates just didn't make sense with finger foods.
  20. Abbie seems pretty even tempered and laid back.
  21. There's so much projection and conjecture going on in this thread right now. I am a Christian, I do not go around publicly declaring everything that I disagree/agree with my church on. I think it's patently ridiculous to say that Jeremy potentially abuses Felicity because this guy that he has some connection to advocates abuse. This is really uncomfortable personally, definitely veering far off what is I think meant to be discussed in these threads.
  22. On a pure feature standpoint, I never thought Josh was unattractive. It was his attitude when he was younger and now his sloth and greed that make him repulsive. I think their kids are all attractive children.
  23. I don't think Jana or JD particularly care about Jill and what she's doing enough to censure her. JD is married to the most "liberal" (LOL) of the wives in that she was the one regularly wearing pants, who had friends outside their cult and who goes to a normal church. Nothing Jill and Derick are doing now is probably that far from what JD/Abbie do. For some reason people have just chosen to act as if Jill and Derick are somehow not the same sort of Christians that the rest of them are anymore. I just don't think that's true. As far as Jana and Jill, why would she be close to her? When Jana was visibly struggling with things (IMO) and was being sent...err volunteering to go to Journey of the Heart over and over, and mentioning how courtships didn't work out, Jill was the one being a gleeful snitch. Jill was the tattle tale. Jill was the one making sure everyone toed the line. So even if she's changed now, it may be very hard to put aside those feelings of resentment.
  24. Honestly, you're reading to much into it. On an iPhone, which is what that is, you don't have to have dexterity or anything else to shift up to a capital letter. The up arrow key is on the right corner of the keyboard, it's easy to hit while typing. If a child is randomly pressing keys on a phone, they will most definitely capitalize some letters. It would be more suspicious and likely staged if the only capital was at the start of the string.
  25. See, I forgot she was pregnant. They are so boring.
