  1. I think they both look good and more importantly for them as a couple, happy.
  2. I'm not usually overly symbolic, but in the first picture it looks like a butterfly is on the baby's nose. Given what butterflies symbolize, and the loss of their first daughter, I found that oddly touching. For their sake and probably Joy's mental health, I hope everything goes well with this pregnancy. I wish them nothing but God's grace when it come to this situation.
  3. Their baby is interesting looking.
  4. I think this is the first picture of Lissy that I can see Jinger in her. She normally looks exactly like Jeremy's mom.
  5. Man it's a real shame. These two look like college kids home on spring break babysitting younger siblings. Instead those are their kids and they'll have a 3rd in another year.
  6. It's not "Fundie" to thank the Lord for blessings in your life. The same way it's not ok for the Duggars and adjacent to denigrate others and their lifestyles, it's equally as bad to attack all things involving Christ.
  7. Josh looks 15 years older than Jana rather than 2. It's wild how badly the majority of the male Duggars have aged in comparison to their own father even.
  8. Tiny, tiny voice here, but McArthur isn't the only religious person that preaches against Catholicism. I grew up in the black Baptist church and our pastor definitely called them idolaters. In fact when I went to a youth convention and we had a class on cults, Catholicism was included. The thought is that reverence of the pope, confessing to priests rather than just to God, statues and reverence of Mary...the list goes on. I'm not agreeing with it, but rather just pointing out that it's not only a small weird fundie thing for Catholics to be considered "other" in the terms of Christianity.
  9. I do appreciate that there's no mention of their candidates of choice but just that they voted. Good job Jill!
  10. There's so much to snark on with the Duggars, but one thing I don't mind is that they have "family night" and there are a lot of people over. Maybe it's because I have a ton of family who live near to each other and with 30+ first cousins who all have kids...it can get crazy and there are a bunch of kids around. I also don't have an issue with the no shoes in the house. I actually have a bigger problem with people who DO wear shoes in the house.
  11. That's Anna pushing the stroller. Jana is up in the front.
  12. Jinger is not pregnant unless she's announcing super early. In the picture that's face forward, she has no bump at all. Joy is definitely pregnant, clear bump. Jana's skirt is pretty short for them, mild progress. More and more I think Jana just really has zero desire to get married and start popping out kids. I bet she'll get married at 35-40 and have maybe 1 child.
  13. That bathroom has wayyy too much crap in it, literally. All I can think about is how much fecal matter will be clinging to every single thing in there 🤮
  14. The funniest part of that picture is that it's clear that Anna is pontificating on something and ALL of the rest of them are like "would she please STFU". 😂
  15. Exactly my point. She doesn't post a thing that isn't carefully curated. We've seen Felicity look disheveled and uninterested in multiple pictures. There's no question that Jinger and Jeremy include her to make their pictures more interesting, but I don't think they actually "pose" her or are overly concerned with how she comes across. On the other hand, Jessa is marketing herself as the super fundie mom. I feel like she makes sure that her kids look and come across as perfect before sharing a single thing. Other than the infamous "diaper mountain" picture, Jessa's never put up a picture of her kids looking unhappy or shown any unpleasant interactions.
  16. Ivy is no less "posed" than Felicity.
  17. I think someone is pregnant (not Jinger unless she's having the tiniest pregnancy ever), or someone is going to start courting and they want a group announcement or they are doing another "Duggar daughters with their daughters" photo shoot and TLC put down the hammer about Jinger and Felicity skipping out again.
  18. Definitely the happiest I've ever seen Jana look when interacting with any of her siblings' offspring. It stands to reason that she would be closer to her twin's child though. Gracie is a cutie.
  19. I know Erin was considered the beauty of the family when they were younger but she's morphing quickly into her mother. She looks so much like Kelly it's crazy. Michael and the rest of the bunch all are more attractive than her now IMO.
  20. He's 5, why does he have to have his own room? Kids can share a room and go to school and be just fine. I think that the kids do need to be moved to the larger room and have it set up so that it's more age appropriate.
  21. I don't know the demographics of the school system they are in, but unless they are in a low income area, they probably won't come in contact with too much "off color" stuff at Israel's age. I've worked in the DC school system for 15 years now, and the only time I have heard things from the littles that would make me raise an eyebrow is in the areas with a lower income demographic. Also, given the area of the country they are in, I'd bet that most of the families they come in contact with will have similar beliefs to theirs
  22. I'm so glad that Israel is going to school. I think that Derick and Jill are going to slowly ease away from all things fundie. As far as their religious beliefs, they don't even register for me. As a black Christian, I am used to intolerance for others in regards to sexuality. I personally do not adhere to those beliefs, but in my experience most minorities do. I think it's something that is really unspoken in this country but it's true. For me, as long as people don't actively try to impose their belief system on others, I don't have a problem with them. When Derick spoke out about Jazz, I had an issue because he was trying to impose his views on others. As long as they stay away from stuff like that, I will wish them the best. As far as Jeremy and Jinger being upset about this, I think people are projecting. I don't think that much of what goes on in Arkansas matters to those two at all. I also don't think there was ever a chance that Felicity wasn't going to attend some sort of school. Jinger was always the least interested in "mothering" her buddy group and the fact that she has only 1 child right now (Joy does but only because of her tragedy) doesn't surprise me at all. I don't think that Jinger and Jeremy will have more than 3 kids and that's only if child number 2 is a girl. If they get a boy on the next try, they will likely be done.
  23. Has Josie Bates officially left the cult? Her website is very, very non-fundie. I wonder if some of these "kids" are just towing the party line for TV at this point. Plus a female in business is basically the complete opposite of every single thing that family embraces. The little baby with the Rods looks tortured and all I could focus on were his dirty fingernails! That is such a pet peeve of mine.
  24. I don't understand how Jessa's use of her kids is seen as better. She actively involves her kids in making her videos to showcase how great she's doing something or how great they are at something. Jill posts pictures of her kids in danger and thinks it's funny. Jinger and Jeremy post pictures of themselves out and about and include their child. What would be said if they took all of these pictures without her? Probably "They never have their kid". Additionally, if you look at their pictures a LOT of them have the same outfit in them. Which means they are taking a ton of pictures on a few occasions and then posting them. Rather than actually posing for pictures every day. I take my son every where with me. People often tell me that I could have left him home but I just choose not to. I almost always take at least one picture of him everywhere we are. As far as I can remember, they've endorsed a product with Felicity in the picture or even shilled for a baby product.
  25. So Jeremiah's an athlete and Jed! is going to be yet another doughy politician.
