The fan page is for her parents. On the picture thing, it is what is. These two are millennials and posting/sharing your entire life via social media is what they do.

I know it's not popular to say good things about this couple, but if you see their stories, you'd see that Felicity is being allowed to be a normal toddler. She's alllll over the place. She runs, dances, jumps, plays with stuff AND "gasp" other kids! There's a fan page that has a ton of pictures and videos that aren't posted in this thread. I'm not good with linking but it's easy enough to find.

I thought JD and Abbie seemed very in love and he was extremely involved and solicitous. When my younger sister gave birth, her significant other was the absolute worst. She had to have a C-section and afterwards he was urging her to sit in the chair so he could use the bed because he was tired. I had to leave the room. If that was me, Michelle would've had to go. ASAP. Her entire being would annoy me and put me in murder mode. I think that it's clear that part of the reason Jana is staying home is for her sisters. The entire way that they cluster around her makes it clear that they look to her for structure and support.

Is it a construction playground? We have one near us. Actual construction equipment and everything. Personally I hate it, you have to pay a lot of attention to your kid rather than just allowing them to run free. Thank God that my son doesn't ask to go there frequently.

Even when her show is over, she's not going back. I think this is because of Josh and how her family dealt with that. Has there been a single picture of Jinger/Jeremy with Josh since they got married? I think she was seriously, deeply traumatized (as she should have been) by what Josh did to her. I think she's disgusted by him and doesn't want to have anything to do with him. Add to that that she now has a daughter of her own? Yea, I don't think she wants anything to do with her family when #1 son is going to be around.

Personally I find her fascinating in that she IS bucking the patriarchy by being one of the most visible fundie daughters and still being unmarried. Jana is attractive and on the surface meets every single fundie checkbox. So why is she unmarried? I could see if she was one of the more unfortunate looking women out there in the fundie world, but she's not. There have got to be TONS of fundie men who would/would've loved to trap marry Jana. If nothing else, for the connection to the Duggars.

I think that's a very strange article. Why randomly select a Bates girl while mentioning them as "Duggar-esque" and not select a Duggar? Clearly whomever wrote that knows all about the Duggars and chose to omit them. Plus I think every single Duggar girl that is on SM has more followers than any of the Bates girls.

The family picture is cute but telling as well. Josiah clearly loves the baby but he's leaning AWAY from his wife.

She's a cute baby and John looks very non-sweaty which is good. Abby also has on pants.

Jessa isn't my favorite but i'm going to confess to only buying things that match specifically when shopping for my son. If i'm doing online shopping then I have two windows open so that I can pick tops and bottoms that match. In store I definitely buy for matching. The only caveat to that is if something is on extreme clearance. Then i'll usually go ahead and pick up anything with the hopes that he has a match to it at home.

Jenny is at the top left of the picture, so I guess her and Hannie have both graduated from being thought of as kids. They are likely on the market discreetly now, ready to be auctioned off as soon as they hit 18.

Pants! Neutral colors! I know we all hoped that the Duggars would have the rebels but clearly it's the Bates kids who have broken away. They are the ones that will ease into more mainstream Christian culture and the grandkids will be even further away from Gothard and Fundamentalism.

Clearly this was all the TTH kids; Josie and Tyler are definitely there.

I'm sorry but what's considered a staged photo? To me staged means you deliberately put yourself in a situation you normally wouldn't be in just for a picture. Taking a picture at dinner may be "contrived" but I don't consider that staged. Staged would be "I walked into this restaurant just to take a picture by this sign" and then walked out. They take a lot of pictures yes, but I really think they are just taking pictures of things they are actually taking part in most times.

I just wanted to add that IMO Jessa's videos are worse than Jinger's pictures. Taking a picture however staged and/or posting videos of them engaged in some random activity (Jinger) is less invasive/exploitative than having your kids: sing on cue, read on cue, answer questions on cue...etc. Jessa has her kids actively performing for the camera. Maybe Jinger and Jeremy will eventually get there when Felicity is older, but right now J&B have J&J beat.

Almost all of her videos feature her kids...how is that better than Jinger and Jeremy? They are using their kids in the exact same manner.

Why should she be bothered with them. Her parents abused her. They allowed her sibling to sexually abuse her. They stifled and controlled her behavior and prevented her from being her true self. Exactly what should she be looking forward to going home to?

I was going to say the same thing. She doesn't look like Joy any more than any of them look like her as a sibling. She literally has Josh's entire face on a female body. It's very unfortunate. Additionally, she needs a more supportive bra, asap. Look at the bust line of all of the other young ladies and look where Hannie's bust is resting. She needs to be properly fitted.

I'm sorry but I absolutely never believe these "I met so and so and they acted such and such way" stories. In this day and age, everyone has a phone. If you actually had an encounter with someone "famous" and they acted obnoxiously, it would be filmed. 100% guaranteed. People film EVERYTHING these days. I've been places and as soon as someone's voice raises, people whip out their phone, just to see if they will be the one to capture the next "viral video". So if these bad Duggar encounters were really happening, someone would have sold a video to InTouch by now. That doesn't mean I think these people have good character, I don't. I just think they are smart enough to not be outwardly and overtly obnoxious and risk their cash cow.

There was swaying by Sinner twin which is probably why he's been to Alert so many times.

James, Justin, Jason, Jackson and Jeremiah could be separated out and do just fine in the looks arena. Styling makes a difference. They simply don't have anyone around them with actual non-fundie business sense. Style them as a "down-home" christian male group and the cash would roll in. I'm speaking from experience with this arena from lots of christian music experience. Despite people saying that religion is on a decline, young adults and worship music is really popular right now. There was a recent Christian New Year's eve event that had 65,000 college age students in attendance. The Duggar young adult males would fit right in.
