Jack often reverts back to his Empty Child zeal and all his many faults. Maybe Jack assumes a bit of the persona of the people he hangs with?

And the way Charlie answers the M&M question was great as well.

The empty child and The doctor dances are my favorite episode of Doctor Who. I'm onto episode 11 of season 6 and I still adore Jack's first episodes best. And I always think because these episodes were Jacks first, I actually think Children of earth takes Jack full circle. It would have been a good book end. Though if Jack's the face of Boe he's in earlier episodes :p

I love 10 but he's very flawed not just eccentric . Except probably Donna, 10's relationship with all his companions are a bit icky. I didn't mind the pimping of Frame though. 10 was just trying to give a last ditch good will to all the people who emotionally torched him. I'm not sure what Jack did with Frame nor how much time passed since COE. If Jack is the face of Boe then The Doctor knows Jack is just a child within his development.

There is a lot of character resets in Torchwood. The characters often reset to their caricature/outline characteristics. When somethings sticks I now know said character is about to die :p

Shipping has nothing to do with show cannon. And I hate when the show brings what doesn't seem right to me into cannon. For example I can't ever get into the Buffy and Spike as cannon. Buffy doing another vampire just is nasty to me. Spike had no soul and Buffy killed a million billion soulless vampires for no good reason if vampires can be reformed. SMG was never into that ship either and many fans never took her feelings into consideration. I love Gwen but I'm always looking at her as I think she sees herself instead of how she is....I see all the characters that way. They project how they see themselves and their main character traits. I think that is just the show's dynamic. I Ship Gwen and Jack but not in a romantic way. Never that! They have a father daughter relationship for the most part imo. And I always cringe when I think the PTB were trying to show something more. It's hard for me to judge Jack and Ianto since I came into the show well after that ship was cannon, Ianto was already dead and the show already aired all it's filmed episodes. But they have such a cute dynamic. It's sweet and fun to watch. Even when it's sad.

I don't think there is enough interest for a rewatch but I would love to be a part of one if there were. I wouldn't know how to start one.

I wish that I followed this show when it aired cause I so want to discuss each episode.

The one episode the always comes to my mind when thinking of QL is I think Private Dancer. The one where Sam helps the deaf dancer.

He can just turn their Ballroom Tango into an AT ;) A couple marks off from a judge or two will be the only one that really cares but the fans will go insane!

Why not just stay off that site? Hate's nasty so imo it's just best to stay away from it when possible. We aren't talking human rights here so why not just discuss your favorites and the good and bad about the show? I guess low to no board dragging is something I'm totally going to miss about TWOP :(

I was surfing the Torchwood Tumblr tag and came across the Torchwood panel at MegaCon 2014. It's long but a blast to watch. I fully Recommend it to all fans <3

Android 1: And we could stitch your legs to the middle of your chest. Android 2: Nothing is too extreme. It's to die for. Jack: Hold on, ladies. I don't want to have to shoot either one of you. Android 1: But you're unarmed. Android 2: You're naked! Android 1 : But that's a compact laser deluxe! Android 1: Where were you hiding that? Jack: You really don't want to know.

Esther is very child like. I know I keep saying that but the way she comes off is overly protected. Like she was in a boarding School away from everything. I know it's unrealistic but she just wasn't into Aliens or believing in that world until it was right in front of her. Gwen was that way as well. Any way I watched Miracle Day (episode 2) Rendition. It probably should have been combined with Episode 1 and shorted at least a half hour.I liked it though. It was interesting seeing Jack here. Plus I like When Jack and Gwen have a bit of a father/daughter or brother/sister relationship instead of the, is this sparks? This was a good episode in that direction at least. 90% of what was happening with Ester could have been cut. And I'm not at all into seeing people feel sorry for the evil pedophile killer. I get the point that is how humans behave but I don't want to see it. Oh well. I liked the doctor girl in this episode though I think they could have tighten up all that hospital stuff. It definitely feels like an American show and not a BBC original. No traces of it's Doctor Who origins imo. And some how I think I would enjoy it more fully if it was it's own start . I still liked the episode for what it is though.

I love 9 with Rose and especially with Rose&Jack those last few episodes. I felt Rose should have been left earlier and 10 have gotten his own companion sooner. I loved Rose the first (2005) season but after it an ever growing not so much. The Run away Bride was a blast and then Martha was a sweet talented woman but 10 was so bitter during her run so it wasn't as fun as it should have been. I love 10 with Donna. They just really connected. She was what 10 really needed. I'm going to start 11s run tonight so we'll see how that goes.

I love 9. I watched some of the older Doctor Who but I only have watched through s4 of the 2005 reboot. The empty child and The doctor dancers are my favorite episodes so far. I loved watching 9 with Rose and Jack much more so than 10 with any of the companions. Though 10 with Donna was a blast :)

Esther and Jack are going to be an Item? She seems sooo young though? Soft. I know Jack is a ho but I can't picture it. But I guess Lanto was soft as well. But he's a big guy and doesn't seem child like next to JB.

Sorry >.< I enjoyed COE and just watched 1 episode of Miracle day so for. I know they are old hat for most but I'm new to the fandom because of Netflix. I can talk more about the characters instead of the episodes that must not be named :p
