TPTB didn't know what to do with Charlie. I feel most of his packages were pick ups because they didn't get what they felt made good TV. Which were a waste of time and mostly backfired because we didn't get to know Charlie&Sharna beyond what they put out on the dance floor. Sharna talks about how much she learned from Charlie's positivity and outlook on life. We didn't get any or much of that on the show. How much have we got to know Sharna at all this season? She's more a mystery than Charlie. Imo. And for all the shomances and Amy crying Drama, it was about what was actually happening in rehearsals. And even Candace and Mark have he's helping her with her confidence and He is really relaxed this season with her. It's about them as a dance couple. Most of the couples have been shown dancing in rehearsals. The ups and downs of rehearsing together.

He was a class act. And his FT was beautiful. I fully believe that he was everybody's second favorite ;)

I can watch these episodes over and over. I love the the "fight" the doctor has with Jack about the sonic blaster/disruptor, the sonic screw driver and then the Banana! Fun times!!

Not on DWTS. Charlie could be great at the Samba given a season but he's not going to be able to be just let loose with a week of rehearsals. They will pack his dance and expect him to be an all star but Charlie will be thinking through the routine and either be cautious and not let loose or make mistakes. That has been the trend this season. I'm not sure if they will have told him he's not safe yet at the time he's dancing. Which seems to be second and that could also play into rather he can let loose.

It was Tuesday and they are just learning the steps. It's not going to look wonderful though because it's a samba and samba's look best in hard hitting controlled mess mode. Imo. Wild abandon. All of that's the opposite of Charlie.

I laughed so much I cried during the Donna era and then I cried cause I cried when 10 had to wipe her memories :'( We really needed the laughter because 10 was so bitter during the Martha era. I think it was a great thing bringing in a comedian.

I'm sorry I disappeared for a bit but I used my non current tv time finishing DW 11 episodes&specials. I've actually only watched DWTS (mainly because of the Skaters) and DW the last couple of weeks. I really got into the later seasons for some reason. I do want to be a part of a rewatch. I still haven't finished MD because I was going to wait for the RW. No I think I will just watch them. I haven't watched Supernatural since season 1. I should go to that next how that I'm finished with DW

:( Finally got around to rewatching this. I got into the final episodes of 11 and all those specials that had aired. I love this episode. I cried when the Doctor said and everybody lives this time and Was super happy when they rescued Jack. And the dancing. Rose was funny and charming. And Jack was a blast. I love 9 and Jack and 9, Jack and Rose. All these episodes from the end of 1 are some of my favorites. These two particularly are my favorites. I love the child and Nancy's story. I love that the boy was brought back to life pretty much because Nancy finally admitted that she was his mom. Beautiful. The doctor was sooo fun in these episodes

I think Jazz and Contemporary should be left for the team and these duel dancers. The couple dancers should be Latin and ballroom.

Yeah I think Charlie's going home this week. I love Meryl and Candace but I'm not watching the final week if Charlie leaves. I know big loss to the show losing one viewer who doesn't have a ratings box :p I just don't enjoy large chucks of the show. He's been making it worth while for me. A long with Meryl and Danica's dancing. I want Meryl to win because she's been the best on the floor but I can't stand to watch shomances and I've never been a big fan of Maks. I can't stand Peta and James for that reason as well. Well some other reasons that have to do with dance as well. I don't enjoy Amy's tears or her dances. I know she's dancing on stilts and that is hard to do and I get why she's praise because of that But I'm not enjoying her or Derek's choreography, Charlie's the only one I enjoy to see on and off the dance floor, I've only was annoyed with one of his packages (Latin's 10 ends). I love Candace's journery and I find her very sweet but I don't enjoy her dancing enough to watch for her story. And I can't stand all the board talking between M&M fans and Pure. I can't escape that stuff on the skating boards. It seems she took a point off for Meryl being the front runner and not being as good as ALM expected her to be. For reasons unknown ALM judged her as if she was judging at a real competition but didn't for some of the others. I think she also gave a point to Charlie and James for being male....

I loved the way the Quickstep moved across the floor. And I think the Tango elements really worked. Though if he wasn't in cream it would been better.

Yeah it reminded me of Try as well. Maybe that is the song Maks wanted? But Try is contemporary choreography :p BTW Meryl has been accused of having toe pointing issues for years. It's one of the things people accuse Davis&White of having that make their ice dancing scores too high. It can make you cringe when a dancer has "poor feet". I like die sometimes watching Gymnastic Floor exercise and Bars because of the ugly toe point. Meryl is no way on that level though. She has lovely feet even if not perfect. I do think she should have been in heels no matter what the story of the dance was supposed to be. But only because Contemporary should not be part of this show and has been a big scorer instead. But even with this dance having some contemporary elements, it moved across the floor beautifully (other rumbas this season have been done on a smaller section of the floor). I think a 29/30 is what it deserved to be honest. Len usually wants more traditional so a 9 from him is expected. CAI usually gives 10 to emotional dances like this one so her 9 was odder than ALM taking a point off for "bad feet". ALM shouldn't have even been on the show.

Yep plus it means the dancers who have those dances early lose a week+ to start learning Ballroom and Latin Technique.

Sytycd comes back on May 28. And while I wish contemporary and Jazz wasn't a part of DWTS, the show has never been a Ballroom competition but a competition reality show with Ballroom dancing a focus. Now it's Ballroom with a twist as the focus. Since not only is C&J dances but Gimmicks and themed episodes that make having bad music a necessity are just as much a focus.

I rather Danica leave than Charlie but I really like them both. Charlie has a lot more to give if Sharna & him can find that balance of difficulty and being able to perform perfect without worrying about performing perfect. Danica's injured and I think she'll be limited for the rest of the season. I do like Candace. She's a cutie. But limited. Once there is for real two dances she's going to be even more limited. As much as I love Derek's Choreography he has a limited partner and his fans are soooooooooooooo , so yeah I just don't enjoy as much as I might. And I can't stand Showmances rather they are real or not. Nor Partners that hate each other) I can't stand when that is the focus of their packages. Peta and James are just not my cup of tea. I do think he's a bit funny and liked him well enough on his show (as much as I could handle that slap stick humor). She's always as naked that it makes the focus her nakeness. Even when she's covered. I can't explain it but I think it may be the the way they fit her. I just don't enjoy them. Off dance or most of their dances. I love Meryl but I've never really been a fan of Maks and his always changing but never really changing but his partner this year is really changes him for him. Almost every season I've watched >.< I don't enjoy anything but the dancing. I do think they deserve to win so far. Since dancing is the most important. Arrg I keep writing Maks Max for no good reason since I know that isn't how it's spelled >.<

My problem isn't the individual scores per say but the way they talk to Charlie. Like he's a naughty child. Charlie is an athlete who learns the way the score works, has programs created that hit all the bullets, practice out the wazoo and then performs it the best he can. Then he waits for the marks and reads the scoring sheet to see what the judges like or dislikes based in goe and PCS. Charlie isn't getting true feedback from the judges, especially constructive ones that can help Charlie know how to fix the issue he's been having. This week, though it's outside of the show, he's finally getting feedback and I hope he and Sharna reads it and really takes it heart.

Meryl is a grand actress :p She's supposedly this queen diva but nobody happens to catch it on camera ;) Max is just enjoying himself. This is how Max is-look how he was with Candace.

I have a friend that had a dislocated rib and at another time a fractured rib. The dislocated one hurt worse and he had to do nothing physical for a week and it was 4 weeks before he felt right.

I voted for Charlie only last night as well. I just don't think it's productive for the judges to talk to him the way they do. I guess they think that he's not living up to expectation but it's just unpleasant to watch. It's almost as bad as when Nigel Lythgoe wants a fan favorite off SYTYCD.
