Hope wasn't the only partner Maks had issues with. But I'll confess I'm often high strung and I cry easy. It just wouldn't be a good fit ;)

My dream would be to dance with Pasha :( But I'll take Val in a heartbeat. Derek would be fun to dance with as well. No way in hell I'd dance with Maks since I suck and that would p!ss him off :p If I could could get Happy Maks well who wouldn't want that :p I want to dance with Sharna so her if I was picking a female.

Well the doctor was 11 for a very very very long time and is working with what seems like a whole new set of regenerations. He might feel like a new man. Unsure of his moral compass perhaps. And not only is he a new regeneration but I think it's really been eons since he's been off that planet so everything's going to be brand new almost. And Clara herself might be hardly more than a memory for him.

You know you are obsessed when the first thing you think of when you read that Kelly Clarkson named her baby River Rose, is of Doctor who :P

The Queen Victoria episode was about a werewolf like Alien and such things aren't common...

Donna was the regular woman companion who became extraordinary from her time on the Tardis. But to save her life she had to be Ordinary again. She has no idea that she was able to become something wonderful. She had to revert to the woman who felt she needed a man to be fulfilled. The sad thing is that she was something wonderful all a long. Donna has friends and family and a cool quirky personality. She just needed someone to tell her that she is appreciated. She needed to be able to appreciate herself. She saved the whole world and is appreciated but doesn't know it :'( But she was also a character used to make Rose and 10 be able to happen with out really happening. They can't have multiple doctors running around but they can't have the doctor happy in love so they made 10-2. And the Doctor Donna was a way to get Donna gone too. They gave her a tragic ending without having to kill her. Though Killing would have been a better ending in some ways. If Donna really doesn't back then I will always wish they killed her off. It would have really been what 10 deserved and would have really given The doctor and the audience a personal death.

I don't think anyone knows yet. He's just a recurring support character for now. Though surely more. Some people think he will be The master. I'm hoping he can be something positive but not be a love interest for Clara or for the doctor. I would like a series where the focus is more like it was with 9 or with 10&Donna.

River, Amy, Clara are not interchangeable. They don't have the same personality. They are individuals. River is sassy, wild and full of life. She soaks up every experience. Clara is a bit studious and learns from everything. She goes at adventure knowing this might be all there is so she's soaks up the moment. We really don't know much about her yet though. I'm not sure if we will and I think it's ok. I know there has to be characters there to help move the main character to the place where the story narrative needs to take them. Even if that character is a male. But Amy was her own person who we got to really know. Sometimes she's annoying but she's been a blast to watch for me. She's lost so much and she keeps her head up. I love her relationship with the doctor. Like I said somewhere, she and the doctor are like family. The closest he has to family in all the New whos. I do think Matt's (and therefore Moffat's) Who episodes has been more about him as The Doctor than 9&10 but every Doctor has had their own journeys. We'll know a lot more about Moffat as we go into 12's era.

I love all of the New who as well. I even love the Martha and 10 episodes. I think the doctor was so bitter during that time and it was hard to watch but I understood . And I understand and appreciate even more so after knowing that Rose was probably his first companion after what happened with the War doctor.

As I said in Meryl's thread I think there is a small chance that they will com back for Boston worlds but this is a team that already has Silver and Gold Olympic medals in ice dancing and then a Team Olympic Bronze medal. They are the USA's first ever Ice dancing work champions. This team doesn't need to do more. I will miss them and hope to see more because I think their partnership is very unique and I will miss that quality and the power and excitement from watching them move across the ice. I think the thing that makes me sad is thinking I'll never see them do twizzles again.... I wish that the US ladies did better since I think that is the only real chance of reviving Pro skating. I miss it still even though it's been years since it died...

I liked the episode-well Jack and Gwen. I wasn't not a fan of Owen and he never Grew on me. It was ick her and ick through out. I thought the show would do something with him and his "rape" tendencies but nope. On reflection I think his treatment of Tosh makes him a worse person then I already thought. He would rather "rape" then be with someone who's sweet and likes him. EC definitely felt like a pilot episode but I was ok with that since it was the first episode. I haven't rewatched it yet since it wasn't one my favorite episodes and it was just a few months ago I first watched it. It's not super clear in my memories though so I guess that says the most about the episode :p

That's kind of true in concept but all these woman have their own personalities.

Meryl seems to have really bonded with the dancers. They spent a lot of time together. Not just Maks and Meryl though them the most with travel and training. Jenna Johnson said that her and Meryl instantly connected.
