  1. Just pretend the show ends the episode before the season 7 finale and be done with it. For a show I adored and for a universe that brought so much joy. Them killing Sara off without really do so just puts this whole experience as a waste of time. Ok not exactly. The seasons I adored and the episodes I loved will stay with me. So will my time with the Arrowverse fans. Thank you, you guys.
  2. The most direct link from WandaVision to Multiverse of Madness trailer has been released
  3. Sara shouldn't have to take a back seat because of the pregnancy unless Caity was pregnant in real life. I image it will be a lot like Piper's first pregnancy on OG Charmed. Though I wonder how different Sara's Alien pregnancy will be from Micks? This episode had some great performances but felt rushed as season finales do. I liked it well enough. Though I do think of Sara as a different character as the one starting on Arrow so I'm not as emotionally attached as I used to be... I liked Nate's ending. I think he can write his book in the totem. He can also hang out with Zari's ancestors and the History nerd in him will enjoy learning from them.
  4. Has the CW renewed any of their scripted shows yet?
  5. Reading that I get the feeling that since making Ava captain didn't go over well with the fans, they are going to try with Gideon. It's just weird to me.
  6. I think Caity was doing getting ready to direct the 100th episode of Legends stuff. Directing and learning to produce seems to be her focus these days.
  7. The talking point that the show didn't find itself until the third season is so eye roll inducing the more it's stated. Even if over all season 1 had big issues, it had some very good episodes and season 2 is a great season.
  8. Constantine would be able to see if Sara had her soul if he had his full powers. They have to return to it. I personally am not watching until I find out if the clone has Sara's soul. Or at least if they mourn the loss of real Sara and how horrible it is how real Sara died all alone for nothing. That would break my heart for her but she deserves to be mourned if she's dead. And I guess Clone Sara proposed without telling Ava she's a clone now? I find that troubling. Keeping secrets suck.
  9. Sara is wherever her soul is and right now that is considerably in question.
  10. If this isn't reversed, I'm done with this show. I don't care if Cloned or whatever the new Sara is has all of Sara's memories. Our Sara is dead. And just like before she's alone and away from all her friends. All I can think about is Sara talking to Snart about how lonely death is. It's beyond sad. And Legends fans are happy for Ava angst? As if Sara didn't actually die. I hate this show. And to kill Sara for real in pride mouth? I haven't watched the episode or any since the 2nd episode of the season so I guess I was done already.
  11. @tv echo As always thank you for bringing news and info over :)
  12. I can't stand Ava as captain and lead of the show even more than I knew I would detest it already. I want to do to her what Rory did to that cute little Alien. Her telling Rory to get off her ship instead of understanding that he missed Sara 😞 Nate even tried to tell her! Ava's a garbage leader! All we do is watch Sara suffer where her team (other than Rory) isn't mourning her at all. Even Ava wasn't this episode. I'm already sick of this season.
  13. I love Season 2 but if you are in for the zany and AvaLance than that's the season to start. S2 might be my favorite season. It's the best of what season 1 had to offer and signs of the zanny before it is what dominates. But I hope people don't skip season 1. There are some great episodes and even more a lot of great scenes and character development.
  14. As for as the Super Serum, I think people like Karli proved it isn't worth it. You can't guarantee that people are of the right mind when they take it. I get why a sponsor would decide it was too much. I don't know if that reason fits Sharon though. I think her story had to have been affected by Covid rewrites and scheduling. So much is missing or off screen. WandaVision should probably be hashed out over in its forum but here goes. Sometimes the Villain deserves empathy. Wanda was suffering from extreme dissociation where her previous unknown power of reality warping & creation made that fantasy not just seem or feel real but have elements that were real. Wanda might have created the problem but those boys and HexVision were real sentient beings. And everybody on the planet would bring back loved ones if they had the power to do so. The bringing loved ones back is a separate issue then Wanda casting out her grief and nightmares. While both were caused by Wanda's dissociation, it was two different powers of Wanda's acting up. The casting out was her telepathy. The Townspeople gave testimony that they felt Wanda's grief and had her nightmares. Debra Jo Rupp's character wished to die because Wanda just went into a panic attack and it manifested as choking the townspeople. Monica also suffered Wanda's grief and had her nightmares. She understood that but she had time away from the suffering. If we saw Monica talk to the Townspeople she would have shown empathy for them as well since she was in the same boat. Imo.
  15. I personally can't wait to see Monica again in Captain Marvel. I don't get a lack of empathy, morality and ethics from her. That woman literally pushed Wanda's grief. She knew if Wanda was the problem, Wanda was their solution. I think Monica could make a great team leader but we do need more of her first. And Right now Sam feels small screen Captain America. In some ways I think his story could and should have been on the big screen but dealing with what a superhero that represents what America today means has a smaller impact than dealing with that related to WWll. It's meant more for a US audience and tv is best for that. And I also wish that Isaiah's story was bigger. Meaning he should have the tv show and Sam deserved a movie. In Many ways America has improved in race related ways but in other ways there is just so much history that makes real improvements seemingly impossible and we might have to completely implode to feel we are all on equal ground. I think Sam being front and centered as Captain America on the big screen is needed. But he hasn't reached the point that people see him leading the Avengers. Black Panther did that for t'challa and we spent less time with him. His movie was great but it was also a movie. I feel like Sam & Bucky still seem like second tier Avengers. Maybe a second season would help with that. I would enjoy it. I love EVC and I wish that this show did her character justice. I can see how they could easily bring her back from this point but I'm sad for her. Not just because she's a Villain but because most of her development happened off screen.
  16. Is Storm a “grounded character”? I was thinking it was going to be She-Hulk but her show is announced and now they make it seem like it's a complete new character.
  17. Maybe the winter soldier ended up helping Bucky cope with the serum by allowing the raging as a separate identity to Bucky? By force, he naturally can separate that aspect. Kind of like how Banner learned to control or coexist with his alter ego. Or just his disguise. LIke Nat's blond hair and Wanda's red hair. What was Sam's?
  18. They should have just released the Zari & Behrad highlights with it's teeny bit of new footage as the s6 promo because it did a better job of getting me excited for the new season 😔
  19. The events in WandaVision can just be a 2 minute exposition in a movie. The end credit scene of the WV finale had Wanda hearing the boys cries as the Doctor Strange theme played. But my guess also takes in count that the MCU likes to twist comic stories. Having the boys grow up in other homes because Wanda does something with their memories sounds more likely then the demon spawn to reincarnated boys that they are in comics. That power of Wanda's was introduced so it's possible to use it again.
  20. Wanda became more powerful between each movie so movie goers will probably just see what she became in WandaVision as more of that. This article about the Scarlet Witch Prophecy helped me understand the role of he television shows. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2021/03/wandavision-scarlet-witch-prophecy-destroy-the-world-meaning-chaos-magic-jac-schaeffer The prophecy as aired in the episode: But originally the writers wanted to play it coy & a bit stand a lone-ish. Similar to The way season 1 of Buffy the vampire slayer did. But in WV the prophecy would be fulfilled with destroying the hex. Also if you watch the Kevin Smith podcast he did with WV director Matt Shakman, in one sections it is mention that Wanda's small dialogue line, "I don't understand this power, but I will", was crafted in post production: Digital compositing. https://youtu.be/qFxn1q-KqW8 So WandaVision was all about setting up The Scarlet Witch. I see WV as a series length end credit scene 🙃 But it's creating an audience support for these characters beyond limited film screen time and the comics. I think what Kevin Feige said about a potential Young Avengers can probably go for the leads of the Disney+ series as well. https://ew.com/tv/marvel-young-avengers-kevin-feige/ My own theories for the future? I think maybe Doctor Strange 2 will have a similar beat as Wanda Vision. Though it will be because Wando learning about her powers fast and alone. This time Wanda will break reality large scale-exposing the multiverse. And it will have to be put back together through trials and tribulations. What's real and what's not. One of the things Agatha says early on in episode 9 is that she takes power from the undeserving. That sounds very much like Doctor Strange's Mordo. I think because so much time has passed that Mordo won't be the large villain until Doctor Strange 3 or later. But because first Mordo and now Agatha takes from the undeserving, I sense a trend. Wanda's magic is going to pissed these people large scale. I think Wanda's boys will be rescued from where ever MCU Chaos magic comes from but Wanda will have to do what she did to Agatha, to protect them from being used and abused. And Wanda will have to watch over them from afar as she learns to control her magic from Strange. Also taking Strange's arc full circle. If we get another tv show, maybe it will about Billy and Tommy growing into their comic destiny. They'll learn that the little life they had the past few years were fake, they will learn they are twins, that they have powers and they they were forged from the the powers of The Scarlet Witch. Who is now someone people fear. Meaning I don't think we'll have more WandaVision 😔
  21. Wanda's not a good guy in the season but she's not a villain. The season is basically her Chaos magic controlled by her stages of grief. Episode 1-5 she is in denial/anger and trying to be happy living in a world everything would be fixed by the end of the episode. She even tried rolling the credits early during episode 5. This episode the boys kept aging up and they got a dog without her permission. The Sword agents try to kill her and her family using a stark drone. That's the second time Wanda's family is threatened by a missile connected to Stark. It freaks her out. She just wants sword to leave her alone. Kind of the beginning of Bargaining here. Then the dog dies but Wanda has a little control when she talks the boys out of aging up again. She & Vision get in this super heated fight because he knows something horrible is happening to the townspeople but Wanda is trying to be in denial still so she rolls the credits. It doesn't work this time but then Fietro comes. The commercial in episode 5 is the Lagos fix your mistakes paper towels. The next episode 6 Wanda tries bargaining/negotiating and gives the townspeople their children. Fietro turns out to not be her brother and Vision is almost ripped to pieces when he tries to leave the hex. And episode 7 finds Wanda in depression and Agatha gets Wanda's children. Episode 8 Wanda is still in the depression stage as we learn her back story. Episode 9 Wanda slowly accepts what has to happen and removes the hex. This is part one of this journey for Wanda. There will be blow back for her.
  22. Wanda was a broken women. She had to kill her "soul' mate for half of humanity to live and it was for nothing. Then she had to watch him be murdered. Then she was snapped to come back to Vision's body gone but the world was about to be on fire in minutes. She had fight the big bad who killed her love. Then she had funerals to attend and Steve went back to the past (most of the people she would hung with after her brother died were now dead or gone. The the scene at Sword happened. All of that within in a month (on top of everything that has happened in her life). So when reading Vision's deed at the place where their home would have been, Wanda snapped. If this was real life she would be sent to some type of mental help and deserving so. But like the Hulk she is now isolated herself after causing suffering. And for the time being she has lost her family again. This is kind of the 5th time she has lost her family. That is why she couldn't just let the Hex disappear as she was watching Vision and her boys be ripped apart. It had to feel exactly like ripping the stone from Vision.
  23. Real is probably subjective when we are talking about Chaos magic. But not only did Monica help Wanda give birth, Agatha says The dark hold prophesied the Scarlet Witch as having the ability of spontaneous creation. I think the problem is that Wanda messed up the spell because she didn't even know she was casting a spell. She accidently bound her creation with or within the hex because she links happy and safe to everything fixed by the end of the episode & other sitcom Tropes so that is what the Hex provides. Agatha also says you can't fix a broke spell. So I'm thinking if Wanda didn't get the spell wrong, the boys would be able to live as if they were created the normal way.
  24. There is a lot of discussion about consequences and punishment and the difference between heroes who do wrong and villains. The characters in the discussion have been Wanda, Loki, Bucky, Fury, Clint, and Stark. 5 of which are the stars of Disney+ Avenger tv shows. I can't see that as a coincidence. Wanda is a damaged women who lost her family. A lot. She's not evil but she was only a superhero because the Avengers became her family. Deep down she's a sweetie -still that little 10 year old waiting for the episode to get to the point that it was all a bad dream. But she's also the 19(?) year old who volunteered to be experimented on by Hydra. And she's the women loved by Vision. Throughout her life her magic has worked subconsciously. Even when she has intent she didn't know it was spell casting. Her shenanigans can be scary but they haven't been to purposely hurt innocent people. Wanda didn't even know what she did was magic. Her Hexview is scary but not purposely done to hurt like 2012 Loki or like post Infinity War Clint. Though she also wasn't war making to protect the greater good which is how I think we are to see Fury and Stark. And we are to see Bucky as pure victim who had no control but has been affected by what he was made to do. Loki and Wanda are both Chaos creators. Loki is the god of mischief purposely using illusion and deception. While Wanda accidently did what Loki used the scepter/Mind Stone to do in the first Avengers movie. The more I think about Wanda I fear she hasn't really let herself grieve. Though as a stand alone, the body of Wandavision beautifully shows the stages of grief. But I think Wanda is looking for a way to safely recreate her family. She doesn't want to hurt anyone but she still hears Billy and Tommy cry for help. She might have lost her parents, brother and her version of Vision but her children were created by magic so magic should be a solution to making them real. If she can only stay focused and learn how to wield her power without hurting people.
