  1. An unusual friendship. https://mobile.twitter.com/PandaReactions/status/809777821635710976?p=v
  2. He's been on FN since he started on The Chew though. I just remembered when I read your post. He's been doing a show there that's not on right now, & I'm not sure when/if it'll be back on, but I think it was just on again recently & has been on for around 2 or 3 seasons/cycles (whatever FN calls them), I think. It's called Burgers, Brew, & 'Que & it's (obviously) about the best places to go for burgers, beer, & BBQ. He's done it at the same time as The Chew & mentions it there. When it's on, I think it's usually on a couple of times on Friday nights, breaking up the zillion hours FN usually airs Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives that day/night. http://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/burgers-brew-and-que.html
  3. If you have AntennaTV on your cable/satellite TV channels, Bewitched is currently airing there. I think it may be on really late at night though.
  4. I think WE actually airs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & (at least most) Saturdays. And Ion airs Midmorning Wednesday through 1AM Thursday. At least if you're talking about the original show.
  5. He's been doing The Chew for, like, 6 TV seasons now. At least they said recently that this current season is their 6th.
  6. Carrie Ann's engaged (again). http://touch.latimes.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-92133532/ Also, Ryan Lochte & his fiancée are expecting their first child, & Governor Rick Perry has been named by the new administration as their Secretary of Energy.
  7. Here's an obit for Craig Sager, from NBC Sports. http://nba.nbcsports.com/2016/12/15/craig-sager-dies-at-age-65/?cid=sm_tw
  8. Jimmy Kimmel was on a local LA radio show (I think the article I'm linking said it was The Kevin & Bean Show) & he announced how much he's being paid to host the Oscars (though he also admitted he probably shouldn't have been announcing it): the perhaps paltry (at least in comparison with what he probably gets to host his talk show, per episode) amount of $15,000. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/jimmy-kimmel-leaks-oscar-hosting-pay-1201942496/
  9. She showed up in court somewhere, in the last few days, to testify in some lawsuit she filed against somebody, supposedly so they'd know her presence meant she was serious about filing the suit in the first place.
  10. According to his obituary in The Hollywood Reporter, Bernard Fox was 89 & died of heart failure. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/bernard-fox-dead-bewitched-actor-who-played-dr-bombay-was-89-956294
  11. NBC Nightly News just Tweeted US intel officials believe Putin himself was personally involved in the US election disruption (SOURCE: NBC Nightly News on Twitter) https://mobile.twitter.com/NBCNightlyNews/status/809182027954024448?p=v
  12. Teenage classical singer Jackie Evancho (she was a winner or finalist in a previous season of America's Got Talent) is apparently singing The Star Spangled Banner at the inauguration, & may (it's not confirmed yet) be singing with Italian classical singer Andrea Bocelli at the inauguration (if it happens, I'd bet they'll be singing The Prayer; that's Bocelli's best-known/most famous duet). This is according to multiple sources. She apparently performed at Trump's Mar-A-Lago estate when she was younger (though she's only 16 now); there's a pic of her with Trump, apparently at whatever that event was, in the article linked below. The same article also says that Bocelli is apparently 1 of Trump's favorites & he's apparently been to his concerts before (I didn't expect Trump to like, say, Barry Manilow... For a lot of reasons, going back a number of years... Just saying). http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music/jackie-evancho-sing-national-anthem-trump-inauguration-article-1.2910459 NBC News also Tweeted, earlier today, their Washington DC affiliate says DC marching bands are "sitting out" the inaugural parade. And I can't find the links now, but I read, like, yesterday that Garth Brooks & another performer won't be performing in inaugural events either. If/when I find the links, I'll post. They join Elton John, who was said last month not to be performing in inaugural events because he was a big Hillary Clinton supporter during the election.
  13. Since Pence was on the ticket with Trump when Trump was elected (so they came as a "package deal"), I'm assuming yes, if Trump somehow doesn't make it to taking the oath of office--for 1 reason, remember, the VP is always sworn in before the POTUS, presumably to assure the line of succession is correctly followed.
  14. Instead of the female Congresswoman from Washington state (the Spokane/Eastern Washington area) who was previously mentioned as the choice, Trump has apparently picked Republican Montana Congressman Ryan Zinke as his Secretary of the Interior. And Donald Trump Jr. (who goes on African safaris with his brother, Eric, & makes trophy kills) was apparently "heavily involved" in his being chosen, according to The Hill. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/310318-trump-jr-involved-in-interior-secretary-hunt-report
  15. Oddly enough, As Long As We've Got Each Other was a TV theme song Alan Thicke didn't write. It was written by John Bettis (lyrics) & Steve Dorff (music), who are known for having written/produced for, or otherwise worked with, some of the biggest music stars, of many genres but mostly pop music, of the 1970's, 1980's, & beyond.
  16. She was also his first wife & the mother of his eldest sons, singer Robin Thicke & Brennan Thicke (Brennan was diagnosed with diabetes as a child & Alan & Gloria became active in fundraising for diabetes research/a diabetes cure soon thereafter). I also did a March of Dimes telethon fundraiser with her, in Knoxville, TN, in the mid-'70's when she was still married to Alan; but I didn't get to meet him because he didn't come with her (they still asked me to make appearances for them after I was their National Poster Child, through about when I was a senior in high school & met President & Mrs. Reagan at the White House, with my fellow former poster children & the then-current 1, the Monday before John Hinckley shot the President & members of his entourage & security detail).
  17. I think I'd call Netflix/Amazon/Hulu more like "streaming video" than either cable or pay TV. And yeah, I'd argue that it probably needs its own category at this point, because it's neither commercial nor cable TV.
  18. Variety's obit for Alan Thicke. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/alan-thicke-dead-dies-growing-pains-1201941522/
  19. Joe Ligon, frontman for the Mighty Clouds of Joy gospel group, dead at age 80. http://news-sentinel.com/news/us-and-world/Singer-Joe-Ligon-of-gospel-group-Mighty-Clouds-of-Joy-dies
  20. In case anyone missed it, ABC's supposed to repeat this ep tonight at 10PM Eastern/9PM Central, or after The Great Christmas Light Fight (or whatever it's called). Check local listings for your correct time & channel.
  21. They've also mentioned doing A Few Good Men (& I think Aaron Sorkin's committed to working on it), but they haven't announced a date for it yet.
  22. Before Thanksgiving (after the 2nd ep aired, in fact), the show was renewed for a 2nd season. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/martha-snoops-potluck-dinner-party-renewed-season-2-vh1-1201923701/
  23. And Keri was in the middle of changing barfed on baby sheets (hope baby Sam feels better soon) when she found out about her nomination, according to The Hollywood Reporter. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lists/golden-globes-2017-nominees-react-955144/item/golden-globes-nominees-reax-nina-jacobson-955241?utm_source=twitter Keri's reaction quote is pretty far down, under Julia Louis Dreyfus's quote.
