I also will have to wait for people to give a synopsis. I cannot get my browser to cooperate.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
CalicoKitty replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
It makes a person start to wonder if Josh was the only son with a porn "problem" that has been hushed up. We never did hear what "Sinner Twin" did to earn his trips to Alert. I am sure more bad stuff went on, and more will become public. Stay tuned. -
I am still not convinced that the boys own anything in their LLCs. I think it is Bumper Shoot's money that is just under a boy's name. I really doubt that anyone has access to anything in the LLCs except Boob.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

I always have had the feeling that The Umbrella is just using his kid's names to have a "safe" place to put assets. I don't think that the kids "own" much of anything. -

Another one that they posted: using an infant seat on top of a stroller. Jill said at the time that her mother had shown her how to do that. -
Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

It would not surprise me if JB just announces he is coming for a visit and tells everyone involved when he will show up. After all, he told the judge that he would not accept some pieces of evidence. I really think that he thinks that he rules everyone and everything around him. And showing up at Jeremy's is a family matter, and he is the umbrella, after all. -

I wonder how Josh's outcome will effect the girl's law suit. Will the outcome of the girl's lawsuit have anything to do with sentencing for Josh, or are the two cases totally separate? I'm confused. -

I agree. Jill posted pictures of driving her boys while they were standing up on the back seat with their heads out the sun roof. She was driving on a public street. Her excuse was it was just a couple of blocks. Police were not involved. I think this family has gotten away with stuff that "average" families (ie: those families without their own TV show) would be called out on. I hope that things will be changing now. -

Wasn't the clown thing for Amy's birthday one year? All the Dugs either dressed up as clowns, or had clown figures, or something, and laughed because they knew she was afraid of clowns HA HA HA. They did it on purpose to torment her. -

I still find it very interesting that this situation with Janna dropped at this time. I think (or would hope) that his whole family is under more scrutiny than in the past. I have a feeling that this situation will not be the last that we hear about. -

Wasn't Anna shown yelling at one of the Lost Girls when one of her kids got lost on some outing. Whichever girl was supposed to be watching said child. I don't imagine Jana's incident went down well with her. I do agree, she needs to watch her own children. -

Interesting that this came to light right at this time. Is this supposed to give the public something to talk and write about in place of Josh? Could it be a plan by Boob to get Josh out of the spotlight? It won't work. -

I didn't mean this particular family. I never want to see any of them again, either. I meant a "tell-all' type program to educate people on the background and real beliefs of the IFB. Just to show it is not group of God-fearing perfect families. But I know this will never happen. -

I wish TLC would produce a program that shows the inner workings of this group. Someone from the network had to have known what was going on, and they should now be responsible to show the "other side". What worries me is how much other "stuff" has gone on in this family that has not come to light (yet). -
I use the rice krispie recipe with Cheerios instead of rice krispies. It makes a nice change.

I was surprised, and happy, when I heard about the verdict at 9:00 AM PST this morning on KSFO--a radio station I stream from San Fransisco. I am finally all caught up on all the posts on this site, and I want to compliment all the posters for their thoughtful posts and great insights. I really appreciate all the professional and technical information that people have. I am privileged to be able to a part of a group with such kind, educated and smart people. (Educated and smart are two different things, in my experience.) -

Does Boob allow her to go anywhere without him? Apparently someone has to have a vice grip on her arm, and that is his exclusive job. -
I already know 2022 is not going to be a good year for me. We put my mom on Hospice last week. Her dementia is to the point that she doesn't know if she is hungry or thirsty. She has lost over 20 pounds (which she did not have), and is very confused and weak. Her 95th birthday is next week. Then, my brother tells me he has malignant melanoma. He has 5 spots that will be removed over the next 2 months, and then will see where he is from that point. I guess it is good to know ahead of time. Yeah, it's not going to be a good new year.

Not only Anna, but I remember Josh being in on that conversation. I think they both mentioned it in more than one instance. I thought it was creepy to hear him say that at the time. -

I certainly hope Christine does not encourage Truely to run across the room and jump in the tree. -

I'm not sure the tabloids will ever be finished with Josh. There will always be at least a couple of lines about his case in any future write-up on any family member or any family event. Josh has created a great family legacy.- 918 replies

He might make a good soccer coach at the high school level, or even younger kids. It seems he enjoyed playing. There are school teams, and there are traveling teams. He does have a college degree, but I'm not sure what other classes he would need. He might not need an actual teaching credential.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
CalicoKitty replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Christine looks much bigger in this picture than she has in other recent photos. And Robin looks smaller. I think this was photoshopped to make Robin look like the thinest wife, and Christine's picture was inflated. I also think Meri appears smaller than in recent photos. They just do not look the same sizes as in recent "non-professional" pictures, at least to me. -

Maybe they need someone in the family to go watch a tailor for a couple of hours and then they will have an "expert" in their own in their family.- 918 replies
