Should their editor or publisher have caught the usage error in the title? Or is that not their job.

I just got my second box. I kept a pair of jeans and one top from the first one. Something happed with the second. They sent 4 tops and a jacket. All of the tops were huge. They all hung half way to my knees and were gigantic. The jacket was interesting. It was an orange plaid light-weight jacket (I specified that I do not like orange) that did not go with any of the tops. It was enormous. If I was going to a Halloween party, it would be perfect for a clown costume. Everything was sent back today, and I think I will be taking a break from Stitch Fix. Too bad. I think it is a good service.

In our NICU, the doctor would go to court and get a court order for a transfusion for the infant. It was a usual routine when a baby was in need of blood and the parents, usually JWs. , would refuse. I don't ever remember a parent getting upset. As long as the decision was made by others and it was out of their hands, they were OK with it. It is very hard to watch adult patients or parents of children refuse needed treatment, but we just do everything we can to advocate for the patient, and document carefully. It is ultimately their decision, and they must live with the consequences. It is really hard to watch someone suffer, however.

I actually have a tendon that is catching on my knee replacement hardware. My knee gets very, very painful and swollen if I stand for any length of time or walk any distance. My ortho sent me to PT, and it is helping a lot. The goal is to strengthen everything on that side of my knee and leg. My advise, after years of knee surgeries, is to not do anything without your doctor's permission. If something hurts, stop and don't do it. You are only making the damage worse. Don't do anything just because it worked for someone else. But do follow all of your doctor's orders. My doctor told me NOT to use my Cubi until the therapist at PT told me it was ok to do so. Every case is special and different. I wish you the best of luck.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

Do we know if the family was actually invited, or did the group just announce that they were coming for a visit. That might make a difference. -

Sorry. I thought someone asked what a fiduciary was. I guess I read too fast! -

A fiduciary is a person bound by law to look out for and protect your interests. It can be a financial fiduciary, or a fiduciary who is in charge of your estate when you die if you have no family to do it. They must administer your will and estate exactly as you have specified. They must manage your money to your best benefit. -

She also grabbed at the kittens that were a gift to Giddy and Evy, and had to be told to stop. This was somewhat recently. I wonder how profound her delays are. By the way, have there been any sightings of those kitties lately? -
Does anyone know of a reputable charity to donate to for Ukraine? I have never heard of some of the charities listed when I did a search. The site that rates charities rated CARE very highly, and you can donate through PayPal. I have not had any experience with them. Any suggestions? (FYI: I have not seen Medicorps on any lists. I wonder if they will be "on the scene".)

And why is she selling kitty litter, anyway. I don't see how that goes along with selling cookware, food, fashion, interior decorations, and all the other stuff she sells.

The cat is in a grinding bowl--part of a mortar and pestle to grind spices, corn, and other foods. This commercial has always looked strange to me, too, especially because the cat is in a different position in the last part of the commercial. My thoughts are that the cat did not want to be in the filming, and that was the only way to contain and restrain it. A real cook would never allow their pets to sit in a utensil used for cooking. A real pet owner who loved their pet would not force it to be filmed by restraining and containing it. In my humble opinion.

It's cold outside tonight, and Lily found a nice warm place for herself. Sometimes I wish I was a cat.

I have had a couple of neuroma surgeries on the bottom of one foot, and I cannot walk barefoot anymore without pain. I have to wear cushy slippers and shoes. But I do not like socks. I wear them only when necessary, and as little as possible. -

I also remember her giving herself a "manicure" in the fruit salad, or some other small bowl of food, at some gathering. She was old enough to know better. I think it may be a case of being very spoiled combined with some delays that have gone untreated.- 918 replies

I'm not sure Josie's maturity level is equal to the other girls. She may not do well in a structured class where she must follow directions or do careful work.- 918 replies

Didn't Mckynzie and one or two of the Lost Girls take sewing classes at one time? Maybe they finally had the opportunity to do something they actually like that is age-appropriate. I hope so. -
It will not break 30 here today, and will be in the single digits tonight. But we may hit 40 tomorrow. All the snow from the past couple of days has melted, and it is sunny out right now. The roads are all good, the air is crisp, and the snow on the mountains is beautiful. I am inside and warm with two cats on my lap. Life is good.

Sometimes parents only hear what they want to hear. I taught with someone who had a son with terrible allergies. She took him to a very well-known allergist who said that she needed to remove the carpeting in his room since it held dust and pollen. She got angry, and was very vocal about how she would not remove the carpet, and starting bad-mouthing the doctor. Having carpet was more important to her than allowing her son to breath. I was appalled. I think Jessa and Joy went to the therapist mainly for hits on social medial. I really wonder if they had any intention of participating in any follow-through. I think they are somewhat like my coworker. They heard something they did not like, or was told to do something they thought was too much trouble, and just moved on. -

Let's just hope Christine does not have Jenelle as a "guest cook" to share some of her "recipes." -

It is almost Spring, so luckily it is the wrong season for hay bales. And Valentine's Day has past, so probably no hearts all over the place. I hope there will not be a Spring/Easter theme. I don't want to see a wedding decorated with bunnies and eggs. -

Unfortunately, this cuts both ways. I have actually had parents of students that wanted their kid to do as poorly as possible on testing so they would qualify for extra programs and funding, and maybe a one-on-one aide. Luckily, these parents were in the minority, but it does still happen. At the hospital, I had one family that was hoping their baby would be in the NICU so they would get all the goodies--free diapers, formula, and day care-- that their first child had. I know, I don't get it either. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it. It is too bad that Joy is still taking privacy away from her children. My hope is that someone in charge of the testing realizes what she is posting and puts a stop to it.
