  1. I figure it's like immigrants. Some speak English like they were born here, some have a heavy accent and some struggle to be fluent or don't learn at all.
  2. The rich guy looks so uncomfortable anytime a girl gets close to him. . . . . .
  3. Is that guy carrying a foam roller with him on the race? WTF
  4. Well, I'll give the casting people props for picking some fun women. Lots of one liners from the peanut gallery tonight. Looks like a nice combo of crazies and girls who seem sweet. I'm entertained tonight. WTF was with giving Sally camera time at all. Is she going to come back later in the season?
  5. Was that for the West Coast and they accidentally blasted it to everyone?
  6. I think this was the best compromise. Give us the new pre-tape and anything they had filmed in some way and then give us classic clips people will enjoy.
  7. A teacher would never go into a bathroom with a student. But, it worked for the joke so I'm ok with it.
  8. The love triangle was not needed. I didn't mind Penny and Vijay but adding the hot guy into that was not needed. I loved the Robinsons letting Don know that he was family (and even Dr Smith). I initially thought they were going to have him be in a relationship with Judy so that he would join the family but it was better just letting him become family and never going there with any of the girls. Same with there not being a love triangle with the adults once Judy's father was there. This was a great show. One of the few examples of true family shows out there that parents and kids can enjoy equally. I wish they'd been able to get another season in before the kids got too old but having a nice solid ending was great.
  9. The Christmas Windows skit was hilarious. I like the skits using everyone they've started doing right after the monologue.
  10. I'm excited. I thought they'd just given up on this season. I'm happy for the racers.
  11. The kids were introduced in the last episode or the episode before that. They came to watch the dress and then were added and Monica told Gabby to choreograph for them because she didn't do kids or something like that. Paula had a high powered job working at a company that did consultancy work with companies who decided who to fire. That type of job pays very well, she had a car and driver in earlier episodes. She also was a single woman with no kids so besides her medical bills (and she probably had good health insurance and life insurance). she was probably banking a huge amount of her salary. The choreographers were great. They used them as actors and background dancers in the show. Comfort was one of them (she was the dancer who was doing the electrician work). The show was nicely written and the short season length (and the writers knowing they needed to wrap it up in one season) made for a nice plot and satisfying ending. I'd love to see them do Sleeping Beauty or Coppelia next year with some new dancers added in. https://popheartstv.com/the-big-leap-interviews/
  12. That's Maureen's entire personality. Woman who can solve any problem (with science!).
  13. Loved the episode. I'll be fine if there's no second season but I'm also excited for another season. I cried when the kids came out to dance with Mike. The trap doors were hilarious.
  14. This was the show that gave us video of a girl giving the lead head with extra slurping sound effects.
  15. Kinley is obnoxious and very young and wow her mother flipped out when she got called out once, she's also pretty similar to the other three pale white girls. Tiny-T can't dance well and can't sing, she's not my favorite. I would have gotten rid of Leaha because she struggles with singing and because she's 14. She's going to hit puberty next year and suddenly not look anything like the rest of the group. But, I don't know how she is behind the scenes. If she's able to be a leader because of her age and rally and support and help the youngest dancers then I could see keeping her. I'd just worry that she's going to age out of that group soon. I only recognized Leaha from netflix because of the hair and her mother. Both are absurd and memorable. I can't believe they didn't eliminate someone again. Although the way they showed the youngest one freak out makes me think that they may have decided to stay with six. Makes it easier to maintain the group when someone decides to leave.
  16. I'm enjoying this show. Leah should have been eliminated this week. The audience only loved her because they knew her from the Netflix show.
  17. That's just generational. In my day you would see black men with white women but you wouldn't see white men with black women often.
  18. I like that we're getting more ghosts that we will see on and off. Gives us a bit of difference from the UK show. The pipe player amused me. Loved this episode. Jay and the Ghosts bonding over D&D was great and Awwww with the British and American solders falling in love.. The ending scene where they tell him to make pizza because Sasppis wants to smell pepperoni was funny.
  19. Medical night school and part time medical school. Only available in dramaland. I'm watching a fire and rescue show. I don't want to see crime drama.
  20. I think they'll use Paula's illness for ratings and I think she's ok with that because she's having a glorious last set of days and is thankful for the show. The Reggie thing on the other hand. . . .
  21. Loved today's episode. Starting to really see the potential.
  22. This is fun, very Dance Moms. It would make more sense for them to be doing other performances instead of dance comps because this group in theory is going to sing as well as dance.
  23. I'm fascinated by the way the writers have (on occasional episodes) taken the framework of a UK ghosts episode and transformed it into something different. This episode had the bones of the UK episode (Pete's wife visits, is a cheater that Pete didn't see and a grandkid comes out at the end) and wrote it in a way that was it's own story. It's a very careful and interesting writing method the writers are using that brings its own voice into a plot that was already there. I want to watch It's Getting Hot in Here now. I love the two old friends and their plot was fun as was the end where Thorafin decided he could just insult people and then apologize. Trevor is growing on me. I loved the Jurassic park comparisons. Do you want to be Ellie Cooper or the guy who gets eaten on the toilet after leaving the kids.
  24. This show doesn't have enough sabre tooth tigers. It's like they forgot they're in the past, I want to see more giant snakes. Why is no one trying to hunt or build shelter?
  25. I liked this. I'm ready for them to move out of the hotel and back into society. I'm interested in the characters but the guards vs 4400 plot is done and cartoonish at this point.
