  1. This and this again and again. I'm glad Audrey posted so that she could remind us that she's just as nasty and condescending as Mariah. I'm not saying that Mariah was ever America's Sweetheart, but her smug, superior attitude seemed to really blossom after she announced she was gay and brought Audrey into the picture. At least Mariah has parents who are semi-famous Z list television "stars". Mariah has been on television since she was quite young, helping cultivate the family's income, television program and income. Audrey's claim to fame is that she's dating/engaged to the daughter of Z list celebrities. She's a nobody clinging desperately to the coattails of people who, for better or worse, at least have a reason to be in the public eye.
  2. She can't work out with a couple of stitches on her lip? I've got to give her credit for the most creative excuses for not exercising!! 🤣 Hope she doesn't get a hangnail - that will set her back another two weeks at least! 😲
  3. Let's don't. If the Dillards really want to break away, they need to stop using and exploiting their children to make a buck. Israel deserves to be like any other student and learn through his successes and failures privately. I'm hoping that as the two boys get older, they are featured less and less on her social media. Living a happy, private life with Derick earning a good living in the practice of law would be the best revenge they could get on Lolly and Pops.
  4. I have two neighbors who work on the clerical side of health care. One works in records at the hospital, and the other is a receptionist at a clinic. Neither of them is making the slightest attempt to follow any social distancing guidelines, and they both complain bitterly about wearing a mask at work. It's true our area has a very low rate of confirmed cases, and "only" one death. However, I would think that since these two work in medical facilities they might have been educated on the importance of doing everything we can to keep these rates low. Whatever they may or may not have been told at work, both of them often post on the local Facebook group about freedom from government, and getting out and about to develop "herd immunity". Even stranger, to me anyway, is that on a recent trip to the grocery store, I saw the mother of a friend of my son's from high school. She's a retired military doctor who did two or three tours in Iraq. She's my age, and she was in the store with her elderly father. Neither of them were wearing masks. My thought was WTF??? Maybe after what she saw in Iraq nothing scares her? I dunno, but if either of my parents were still alive, they absolutely would not be going into stores, masked or unmasked. The past three years have been very difficult for us, and we had high hopes that 2020 would be the year that shifted into our favor. Still waiting.....
  5. I don't know how much the average Uber driver makes, but it would take a heck of a lot of deliveries to make the mortgage/rent payments on their houses. I hate to think what the monthly utilities might cost on Kootie and Robyn's love nest, not to mention insurance, property taxes, etc.
  6. Mr. M and his first wife divorced back in the dark ages before no fault divorce was available in their state, so they had to use "mental cruelty" as the reason. Most of the time, such as in their case, that was code for "there's been no adultery, abandonment, or physical abuse, we just want out". "General indignities" sounds so much better than "mental cruelty".
  7. I love babies too, but I have zero interest in babies from the Brown family (or the Duggar's). As a side story to something interesting, sure, but not as the main attraction. I admit I watched in horrid fascination the first time Maddie screamed in a filthy bathtub, but that was plenty and I skipped those scenes the second time around. The only interesting aspect of the program these days is how the dysfunction of polygamy stands out even in a mundane season like this past one. My idea for the next season is to show a truthful story line of the Browns madly scrambling for cash to keep up with the payments on their houses and land, with Kody making presentations to the group on the tents they will be moving into when the sheriff serves foreclosure papers.
  8. I like Aspyn, but I'm not a big fan of Mitch. It seemed to me that she was a lot more into him that he was into her, and their wedding seemed to revolve a lot more around what Mitch wanted than what she did. When asked about polygamy, I thought she seemed reluctant to come out too strongly against the idea, but then in my view she was deferring to him on just about everything. Maybe she truly didn't have a strong opinion, but it's just as likely she didn't feel comfortable saying something where he might disagree.
  9. The fact that Sister Wives got decent ratings this season is a sad testament to the fact that there aren't many, if any, compelling programs on television these days. I record the episodes and save them to watch when I've exhausted just about everything else - including what's on Netflix and Hulu that interests me. Like others, I did watch some of the season, but often it was just noise in the background while I did a monotonous task. I must admit, I also keep up with most of the episodes so I understand the good snark here on the forum. Even so, I skipped a few because of what I read here.
  10. If you use glue traps, just be sure you check them regularly and, uh, take care of the mice quickly and humanely. I hate mice (and rats) and have no qualms about using any method that works to get rid of them. However, dying of starvation and dehydration is cruel and unusual punishment. We once had a snake get caught on a trap and I hate snakes even more than rodents, but the snake had a quick ending too.
  11. OMG! Could she find a less flattering picture to post? I seriously doubt it. Her backside looks bigger than a map of Asia, and three times lumpier than a feather pillow that's been put through the spin cycle. Can she genuinely not see how ridiculous she looks? Obviously not.
  12. I wouldn't buy a cup of cold water in the desert from Meri.
  13. I believe Arizona is a community property state, which means that if Kootie owes a debt, so does Robyn, whether or not her name is on the paperwork. There may be legal ways around this, but I'd be surprised if any of the Brown's had the foresight to look into that. Robyn may learn a very difficult lesson if she thinks she can dump Kootie and walk away without owing a dime.
  14. Agree. Kootie will say or do anything that he thinks makes him look like a victim. Just because he claims Meri somehow defrauded him, doesn't mean she did. It doesn't even mean he actually believes she did. He wants to have his cake and eat it too, so to speak. I believe he initiated the divorce and dropped Meri for Robyn, yet he still wants to be the injured party in the relationship. Unfortunately, Meri played right into his hands with the whole catfish episode, and Kootie will never in a million years admit his actions were what left her so emotionally vulnerable.
  15. When you have as much to offer the world as she does, the rules don't apply. 🙄
  16. I feel bad for Truely. I think that when Kootie was putting together ideas to get a television show, he promised courtship and "marriage" to an additional wife, as well as adding another child to the family, so the birth could be filmed. Truely's birth was a plot device and once she'd served her purpose, Kootie lost all interest in her. Why he didn't also lose interest in Robyn is something I will never understand.
  17. Add to this Kootie's apparent enjoyment of the "wives" in conflict with each other, and his complete refusal to take any responsibility for their mental and emotional well being. I can just see him strutting around like a king, smirking his cruel smirk, as he watched the two of them struggle, without the slightest bit of compassion for either of them. I can't stand Janelle or Meri, but they have completely incompatible personalities and living together must have been torture for both of them.
  18. Well, of course. They are the break out stars!!! 🤣
  19. I not only went to the hospital for the births of my two sons, I also took full advantage of some of the wonderful drugs they had for the pain. It was sooooo much nicer and safer than screaming in a filthy bathtub!
  20. If I were her boss, I'd stop paying for her scheduled shifts. She was getting paid to shelter in place, not to travel to another state and post pictures of herself enjoying a paid vacation.
  21. Just what I want to see - her large mouth wide open and her entire tongue. 🤮🤮🤮 It's probably just me, but I absolutely hate pictures of humans with their tongues prominently displayed. It's an adorable look for dogs, but extremely unappealing with humans.
  22. I'll bet they called Kootie and he rushed right over to help them out. Unless, of course, he was busy with work. Or busy with Robyn. Or busy styling his hair. Or busy napping. Or didn't bother answering his phone when he saw the caller ID. 😒
  23. I suspect many of the negative reactions to haircuts in the kitchen relates to the Duggar reputation for lack of cleanliness more than anything else. Most of us can't picture Jill, or any of the Duggar's, cleaning a kitchen thoroughly enough after a haircut to make it once again suitable for cooking and eating. Just my opinion, of course.
  24. I remember that scene, and it made my blood boil, particularly since they had a living, breathing biological father. At the time, I thought that was one of the lowest things a mother could do to her children. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Robyn repeatedly dissed their father on national television, used their so-called adoptions for a super stupid story line, and then topped it off with revisionist history that tried to make it look as if Kootie was somehow their biological father. After all of that, forcing them to call Kootie "Daddy" didn't seem like such a major crime.😒🤢
