Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
RazzleberryPie replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
MSWC was a stupid idea. It really indicated how isolated and self centered this group is, especially Robin, to think there was a marketable audience for the junk jewelry and really tacky Ed Hardy knock off tees. -
I don’t know why Robyn refuses to accept that Christine doesn’t want to be her friend. Right now or ever. I wouldn’t want anything to do with the catalyst who caused the demise of the family and who cause my children and me to be openly neglected for years. Maybe Christine is more forgiving and eventually will want a relationship, but I sure wouldn’t. Even after forgiving her, I’d want to forget her.
-
Totally agree. Christine is the scapegoat bc Kody will never admit he has ever done anything wrong. But if I was Christine and fighting for a marriage, and my husband was ignoring my needs, but then willing to discuss working things out with the wife who had an affair instead of talking to me about me, this ignoring the situation again, I’d have a fit too. Not that she didn’t want Meri to reconcile, but that she wanted him to work in her marriage as well.

I’m about to delete my whole source of confusion original post. -
Can’t believe I’m defending Kody, but after Meri’s affair, I understand how he felt betrayed and was done with her. I would do the same. Doesn’t matter if she never had sex, she was in a relationship and fully intending on leaving her family for this person. If he had been real, she’d be gone. Doesn’t matter why or how justified her leaving was or wasn’t, she cheated on her family. Honestly as soon as he asked for a divorce to marry robyn, I would’ve been gone, but yes, she did hide a relationship.

Now that would be the ultimate rebellion against Mama Wetbar. Thrift instead of demanding most expensive brand name available.

Oh lemme add another one: 8) when ROBYN said they’d dump kody on her 😂😂😂😂 so was she in this for the TV money and attention, lording over the other wives, or Kody? I think she’ll be gone as soon as the tv money runs out, saying she was a victim and had no idea she’d be used and abused AGAIN. And Meri will still be sniffing around like an unwanted stray dog grasping for crumbs.
-
So from this I gleaned: 1) Meri was an OCD bitch yet obsessed with Kody from Day 1. 2) Janelle is the only one with very much sense of fairness, balance, Justice, etc. I feel like she was the one who has consistently tried to make things work not just to her own benefit but to the benefit of the group, and let herself be taken advantage of. 3) Robyn always has seemed wary if not terrified of Janelle, bc Janelle saw right through her from the start and she’s afraid janelle will call out her bullshit. 4) Meri and Christine and Meri and Janelle will never ever be friends. Meri loathes and resents them both. 5) Meri is never going to admit Kody loathes her and Robyn is not her friend except when Meri’s actions benefit Robyn. 6) For whatever reason, for now, Kody thinks Robyn walks in water and will never admit anything else. 7) Kody finally admitted Christine was poly Royalty and he married her to advance in the church.

He doesn’t just tend to deflect, he flat out refuses. If there’s no favoritism and he isn’t doing anything wrong, what is the issue with answering questions. Her dream of being HBIC, the legal wife, spending all the money, nannying out her kids, and lording over other women while smugly humble bragging about her goodness? Geez, I get why she’s so upset. Robyn won. But what she won was Kody . She gets what she deserves. Yup picked up on that, too. He was totally talking in a former sense. Not like I’m still a polygamist who just has one wife for the moment but this is still my religion. He sounded like he was done.

She never was pretty to begin with. Her insides match her outsides. -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

Robyn allowing Aspyn to stay is another stealth bitch win win for Robyn. If Aspyn said yes, Rob looks all loving and accommodating plus she gets free built in babysitting. If Aston said no, robyn could once again be a selfless martyr who offers her own roof and is rejected despite her generosity 🙄. They make it too easy for Robyn sometimes. -

Bc Meri has proved over the years she will do nothing, actually will do the opposite to help Christine and Janelle. She likes the drama, too, and I feel like she’d throw her own mother under the bus to be with the First Floor Wives, no matter how badly they’ve caused her and her siblings to be treated. -

Yeah she was prettier at the time than the other three, and what are 3 more kids to add to the passel that Kody prob couldn’t even tell apart anyway? Also $3k - when have any of them ever been halfway responsible with finances? Kody was horny, Meri wanted to impress Kody and have a bestie to lord over the other 2 wives with, Robyn got a babysitter and bills payed off, and they all got a tv show. -
Yes, spinster daughters can stay on their dad’s planet if he calls them in. But unmarried, non plural married, not called in to the highest level etc have to be eternal servants to them. So explains partially why Meri is mentally tied to this lifestyle. Heaven forbid, literally, that she has to be on a lower social rung than anybody, even in Heaven.

I can’t imagine a book by Meri. She will not complete an entire thought or answer a direct question, so what kinds of live laugh love rambling is she going to attempt? Plus any tell all I predict would still bash Christine and Janelle, but not really say anything bad about kody or ROBYN, who she still seems to want as a spouse and and ally. -

Congrats Robin, you are now the shiniest turd in the shit pile. -
I think she thinks she’s making herself interesting or intriguing, but really they just make her look desperate and thirsty.
-
First I am at a loss that there is still a market for Lularoe. Second I don’t get Meri’s appeal either. She’s smug, dull as dirt, and just not engaging. Christine might come off as over the top but at least she has some spark of personality. coming back to add third - she has terrible style and her clothes never look like they fit.

I think having separate houses did them in too. There was no check and balance of fairness, and also the ability for Robyn to isolate and dominate. -
Wasn’t it something like when the show started , Big Love was a popular show, and TLC chose them to be the reality version because they were a plyg family that was adding a new wife? Seriously they wouldn’t have much interesting conflict without the whole Stealth Bitch Robin drama as story arcs. None of them were particularly good looking, interesting, or doing anything really remarkable enough to merit more than a special program otherwise.

I’ve always suspected Kody might be bipolar. He goes from joyously manic to paranoidly frantic then hates everyone and thinks everyone is against him over and over. He has grand schemes that fizzle to nothing but debt, changes jobs frequently, uproots the families, is always busy but always has an excuse of why he isn’t accomplishing much except debt and bad relationships. -
She’s brutal and I’m here for it.

He can still “marry” again and he doesn’t seem to be choosy. Just needs to find someone desperate enough to need a little bit of attention from a showboater, or what I really hope for, is someone who will turn the tables on him and Robin. Surely there is a hot mail order bride escort type who sees the light and also needs a green card. They’d have to get married to keep her in the country, sorry Robin. Not really sorry. I think she does, too, and would stay around hoping ROBYN would leave and she could reclaim her spot.
-
Keep in mind per their faith, women have to be called into those higher levels of Heaven by their husbands and can’t reach the highest realm unless they remain in plural marriage with 3 wives. This has all been ingrained in her since birth. Nothjng would be worse to Fancy Pants than being beneath someone else for eternity. That and I think she still wants Kodys approval. Which is pathetic, but those are her feelings. She might be grasping that when ROBYN eventually leaves she can reclaim her throne.
