Key words “what you THOUGHT was yours.” Learning about how they split resources pre Robyn is what made me initially despise any scene with Meri.

Seriously though, there’s a 20+ year age gap between the youngest and eldest. It’s natural and expected for older siblings to leave the coop before younger, so even without the rift, Ariella is going to have trouble remembering who everybody is.

That entire outdoor convo was weird and uncomfortable. It was like a forced cordial exchange between and ex-wife and the current wife that stole the man. Like we’re going to polite each other to death until we can get this over with. Usually you don’t see those convos unless they’re dropping off shared custody kids and trying to be pleasant. Meri, you’re mean and put yourself in most of this mess, but please have some dignity and just go. Overstaying your welcome out of spite is not a good look. It makes you look desperate, not in control.

Let’s see if Aurora feels the same if Kody takes another wife and focuses on that new family. Those girls have been weirdly clingy and over the top since day one, and I totally see where that is off putting to the OG family.

The only reason Robyn wanted to host any holiday was to take it from Meri.

They can come up with reason after reason for Kody to divorce Meri and marry Robyn, but I will die on the hill that the bottom line is Kody and Robyn wanted Robyn to be the legal HBIC wife. He liked her best. That’s all.

Leon may have grown up some, or just got sick of the negative attention, and asked Meri not to discuss them. And Meri is perpetually Meri, who loves Lording over family and fans with that “you want something I have/know, but haha I’m not going to tell you” brattiness. But if that respects Leon and Audrey’s wishes, then great. Everybody is happy.

Ok another thought. Did Kody ban earrings/jewelry bc he couldn’t afford jewelry? Earrings became sinful because he didn’t earn enough to support his family?

Kodys relationship with Robyns older girls is just weird. My Ear piercing situation was petty yet revealing on 3 levels. 1) more evidence that the rules don’t apply to Robyn and kids. No one was allowed eat piercing until she had it, then it’s cool. That is so infuriating, hurtful, and harmful to have religious rules that affect your eternal soul totally dismissed on a whim. 2) you can’t go with one minor child for surgery but can go with an adult child for ear piercing? Most of the moms were married by the time they were auroras age. 3) why does a 20 year old need permission or support for ear piercing UNLESS she is brainwashed into thinking she needs her adopted fathers permission for something that minor. God help her if she ever needs to make a real medical or legal decision. Auroras ear piercing drama actually makes me have far more respect for the kids who grew up and got away, especially even Leon, bc that’s to me the hugest example of making your own independent choices: they moved away, came out, transitioned, left the church of Kody, kept distance, etc. But Aurora needs a life coach and almost dies bc she wants her ears pierced.

Robyn just does not know how or when to shut her pie hole. You are the newest to the family, yet you try to disrupt and take over, giving your kids preferential treatment, then wonder why the existing family unit hates you.

If a quiet wedding took places instead of a TLC free for all money grab, they’re becoming less obnoxious in my eyes. Not that it matters to them.

Mykelti worshiping Kody now is pitiful. He might be attentive and nice to her now, but he treated her poorly growing up. I guess it’s good they’ve resolved past problems but it’s only became he’s dumped his other kids and she was desperate for attention. Daddy issues are a mess.

Welp we know Meri was 1/4 and Christine 2/4.

I don’t think Janelle is asexual or unromantic, but I do think she comes off as the one who tried hardest to maintain the rules and not be affectionate around other eives. Meri and Robyn both loved to be smug with shit eating grins whenever they could flaunt they had an extra secret with Kody. Or each other. Christine never had the chance bc he ignored her in the daylight. Could still make all those babies with her in the dark though.

This is about the only time I’ve agreed with Kody, too. If Sam had been real, Meri would’ve peaced out years ago and rubbed it in their faces.

Robyn is clearly planning her escape route. God help whoever Dayton or her girls marry, bc she’s going to move in and be the MIL from Hades.

I’ve said for years now, that when the money and attention are gone, or when kody realizes she’s the problem and too old for babies, so he turns on her, that she will say she was lied to, tricked, and abused. When she’s found her next husband/victim, or when one of her kids is comfortable enough to leech off, she’ll be gone. Robyn always tried her best to keep them all apart while she whined nobody included her or her kids.

Robyn always complains her kids aren’t accepted and are victims, etc., but then has a hissy and declines when other wives offered to babysit, other kids come over and act comfortable like they’re at home, etc. If Kody ever had enough sense to see that, it would’ve been a game changer.

I mean the bar was not set high after they way Kody treated her, but David so far has gone above and beyond to make her feel like a person who is heard and loved.

Eh, I’ve done the Stonehenge tour a few times, and there’s always a wild cast of characters there. This isn’t even mildly odd. 50% seem to be regular tourists with group photos just standing there, 40% doing a cutesy pose like they’re standing under and holding up the top, holding a henge on their hand, jumping, etc. Then there’s always the few dressed like the Ren Faire, Outlander, or Fairy Druid Gothy something. I’m suprised Christine isnt one of those with Fairy Wings and a Stevie Nicks shawl.

The didn’t go per capita bc Meri had a big nonsensical sob story about how she only had one actual child, but she WANTED 8, so she should be budgeted for 8. It wasn’t her fault she didn’t really have as many actual humans to feed as the other moms, so she shouldn’t be punished. Which made zero sense then and zero sense now.

How they decided it was fair for Meri to have extra money for vacation while the other two struggled to feed their kids boggles my mind. Thats the first sign Meri is evil. She literally took money for food from her family because she was mad she couldn’t have more children. That is the epitome of selfishness. Why the other mothers and Kody mainly went along with this is beyond comprehension. Then he turns around a few years later and says well ROBYN needs a bigger house bc she has more kids at home. Why doesn’t Robyn just save her grocery money? I do agree more people need more resources, whether it’s food, room, etc. But Meri demanding the same budget for fewer people began my disgust with her.

What else would they expect from the Brown kids, especially the ones closer to adulthood, than to dislike or resent all the attention and preference Robyns kids received. Or was dictated and demanded by Kody? The Brown kids lives were disrupted by new family members, moves, etc. That’s a lot for anyone to process and accept 100 percent immediately. Then you have your Dad ignoring you to gush over them? Put their wants above your needs? That’s just asking for trouble.
