Future of Movie Stars: Who Will Shine? Who Will Fade Away?

He was amazing as one of the main leads" grandson in the Kominsky Method -
I loved War and Peace back in the day, but I was in my "read every known classic" phase. I haven't read it in a long time but I remember quite a lot of it and I was impressed. I hope you grow to like it a little more. I don't know if I'd have the time or the patience for it now. I loved this, too! The second book was equally good imo.

Gina Lolobrigida died age 95. I think I first saw her in Fanfan la tulipe in an "old movies" section of our program back then. Amazing performance and such a fun movie and she was gorgeous! RIP. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/16/obituaries/gina-lollobrigida-dead.html- 4.3k replies

I don't know what everyone is saying, I love this silly show. Of course there are things that are frustrating but it's such a feel good show which tries, I think, to make us sympathise with everyone flaws and all. Also, I love the fashion.

Is it me, or is it heavily implied that Lamp chose the Slough House because he didn't want to do the "dirty work" anymore?

I'm so excited! I think the new cast looks amazing. -
I really loved the first episode and enjoy your perspectives. Haven't read the books so I am coming with no expectations whatsoever. I thought all these agents so far were actually good so there is also something else at play for them being at Slough House.

If I could like this post a thousand times I would. -
Maybe we should rename this topic to reflect both movies. The new trailer looks fun!

I really love Sayers. Lord Peter and Harriet Vane are two of the most amazing characters in such books, imo. -
I loved the THURSDAY MURDER CLUB. I totally agree with you.

Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) - General Discussion

I loved this show and even more so because it had a satisfying ending. Sooooo many shows lately are ruined because the ending sucks. The only sore spot for me is that both However one of the most enjoyable shows ever. It's huge in Europe. I don't know why more people are not watching it in the US. -
The Hating Game was cute. The actors had good chemistry imo and the film was very faithful to the book. The elevator scene was very well done, as was the brother wedding scenes but there was one towards the end which was cringe worthy imo.

Exactly this, but with the caveat that this applies before another player tries to pass the ball to the attacker. After the ball is in the air the attacker has the right to try to surpass the defender and be alone against the goalie / goal post.

Is loving, Love Actually unpopular? When it was out, I thought everyone loved it, and even Ted Lasso paid homage on it recently. Personally, I love it (except the Winsonsin story. That was rubish.)

I don't delve too much into it. I love Ted, I love Rebecca, so of course I would love to see them together. I actually think they make a lot of sense. I disagree that the show never hinted at a relationship between them, when constantly they show up when the other is in a tough spot to help. Ted's panic attack and his sad Christmas and Rebecca's charity dinner and the dart game, they all could hint at a relationship. I'm not saying it's absolutely certain, but it's not totally out of the blue, and for me it would be great.
