I'm pretty sure I've seen Sweet Baby Ray's commercials. A funny one with sports commentators calling foul on a steak dipped in ketchup? About a year ago I saw a SkinnyGirl logo-emblazoned delivery truck and later saw a rep. wearing a polo with SG embroidered logo. Now I wish I had stopped to talk to him! He was in a Publix supermarket but I sure don't remember seeing SG products there so maybe he was a JimBeam/Suntory rep. I might have seen SG bars on their deep-discount sale-display. Anecdotal evidence (or lack thereof) but it's all I got. She's not helping the brand, imho.

I think almost everything is better on PBS. But I seem to forget about them. My local station does cooking pretty much only from noon to one and that's not a good time for me. Though I'm home now and see an ATK-CC hour (I do like them) and tomorrow has a '93 Julia. Hopefully she's baking something...

I have been very resistant to the tv chefs whose celebrity has nothing to do with food and especially re: Valerie Bertinelli. But when I saw her as a judge on FoodNetwork's Comeback Kitchen she won me over. Then when she and Tyler crossed-over for an episode of Food Network Star I was not only completely won over but wished she could replace Giada. And I am growing to like this "compromise" that @JTMacc99 explained so well. I do like being able to just glance up for something interesting sometimes as opposed to 100% attention. And, as also mentioned, there aren't many Julia or Jacques types around anymore.

Bolding mine. I cracked up yesterday late afternoon early evening watching a guy who was practically a jack-in-the-box behind Chris Hayes. His placard was something anti-socialism, and it made no sense to me, but that guy had some springer legs and some serious tenacity. He managed to jump up to Hayes's level! But it did get old. And irritating. I was starting to pay more attention to the jumping-guy.

Well, that explains a lot. Color my face red. And laughing. I forgot there was a One Direction.

Wait a minute. That's Anwar in the pink? Good grief, I missed the "pretty in pink" prompt. Yikes. As God is my witness, I thought that was YoYo! And I think turkeys can fly.

I'd love to see a balance sheet comparing the cost of B's attorneys v. settling a couple few years ago.

That's okay. I just counted out petsitter visits for an upcoming trip and learned I must have 6 fingers on my right hand. I think it just adds to our fabulousness.

I think the difference is that cross-dressers don't necessarily identify nor want to be the opposite gender. Eddie does identify with the opposite gender. Ergo, transgender. Or Ravin' Symoron? Too harsh? At least her hair hasn't been so distracting.

Bill Murray has some less than kind things to say about MacDowell's talents. The making of, the imho classic, Groundhog Day she was less than smooth. She had real difficlties with her lines. One scene she kept botching was a scene in which he ate something over and over and... I think more than 20 takes. I'm pretty sure it was that cafe scene. Love Bill Murray.

And in the face of the validity of stress-related UTIs I should cut her some slack. I don't think I'm there yet. lol And I also don't think I'm ready to forgive veggieboy for that "pizza". Doesn't he usually do the manbun when he's cooking? The ski cap wasn't very reassuring. And goofy. I also didn't realize that an implant post could be done with just nitrous and that recovery is so fast. I always pictured something much worse but I consider most dental procedures to be of-the-devil. Glad Sonja made the bus. That atmosphere would have been even more toxic w/o her, imho.

Those cake-in-a-mug things were popular as gifts but you made a large batch of dry ingredients, divided that mixture among mugs and the giftee just added water and nuked. Flour was involved. The FoodNetwork website has this single serve recipe.

Where is everyone! I was forced to attempt to watch this episode. And I even made it past DJBethy. Ugh. I'm not hearing Jules raising her voice or screaming at anyone. Seemed to me that the first time B shrieked at her to not raise her voice Jules had actually lowered her voice. And though her volume did somewhat elevate it was never to Bethy's volume. Glad Jules took on the B but B's responses were, imho, insensitive and ridiculous. Then Jules shares her purge-slip and, unless it was editing which I doubt, sensitive Carole rolled her eyes! Perfect, Carole, show contempt instead of concern. And eat your food. You're too skinny. Oh, and Carole? Lose the fingerless gloves. Bethany? The 80s called and they want their shoulder pads back. And stop saying you got a UTI from all the stress (insert eyeroll) 'cuz the most common cause of UTIs is sex. I wish Doris had absented herself from the B-bus conversation. But instead she sat there and listened to B say that she was hurt that Jules had been hurt by B's "humor". Still not seeing the humor and shouldn't she have felt badly about what she said? Not hurt. Had I been on that bus I would have done what Ramona did, texted. Even while B did her drunk, "I love you, man" speech. At least Sonja was fun and we had an iota of comic relief.
