I flipped over to Fox last night to see their take on Trump's latest gaffe and they were showing his live speech. Not terribly surprised. Business as usual.

Not a Pelley fan but got a kick out of an opening line of his, this Evening News, that Trump shot himself in the foot with the Second Amendment.

Not that it matters but it was the the friday after the DNC. Faked me out to the extent that I thought there was a real FJ "downstairs" or wherever. I had started thinking better of Mika's new ability to speak her mind. Especially after so many years of playing Joe's sycophant. Now I'm doubtful. Oh to be a fly on the wall when they're home.

I'm watching "live" Directtv right now. Haven't watched Chopped in ages but most of my regular programming has moved to Rio. I tried but table tennis didn't do it for me. Aarti's competing this go-round. It's a 2012 show and the guide is calling it "All-Stars: Primetime vs. Daytime." First round? Chicken feet. Remember to remove the nails. Alrighty then.

Just tuned in to some kind of Chopped chefs-you-recognize-from-celebrity contestants. I found it quite jarring to see Aarti in the intro lineup with Marcus Samuellson, Michael Symon et al. One of these is not like the others? Hope I haven't missed Marcus.

Probably 'cuz the return on their reception offerings would be meager indeed. Hmmm, 2 glasses of powdered lemonade, a scoop of melty ice cream... Hey, I heard they could use a roll of toilet paper! And if TTC is involved make that a roll of double-ply.

I stand by my original impression: sweat shop. That senior center pic is just embarrassing. And really disrespectful. Wonder how that photo made it out into the universe but they can be exceptionally tone-deaf. (blanket training, swaddled and in distress...)

Looks like Joe borrowed one of Mika's gingham shirts. Pink. Geesh. I don't know who was comparing and contrasting the Trump and Clinton tax plans but he was in the middle of explaining his graphics when he stopped and said, "I can't keep talking while you two are talking." Mika said she was just telling Joe to be quiet. She must have been a real treat in middle school. Way to be professional, guys.

I am very tired of Charlie Rose. And I am also tired of "cupping".

Why did Mika change her clothes? Less than half an hour ago she was wearing a pinkish sweater. I commented that it looked like she matched her blusher to her sweater. Now? Black sweater. Does she always do this and I just now noticed? Or, maybe Joe wanted them to matchy-match so black sweater it is? Odd.

I figured Jilly's duties stopped but Jana's... Poor Jana. The Duggar reality is not pretty.

Imho, she has a whole wardrobe full of behaviors that give me pause. She can't always choose which Hos she works with but she can choose to display something other than over the top negative behaviors. I would not want my child around someone with B's, at times, not only lack of good judgment but also her inability to just simply give a fuck! Zero fucks. What a personal motto. When does she give a fuck? When she decides which new squeeze comes home with her? Hopefully, but I doubt it 'cuz it's always, Me First!, with B. Eventually Brynn will become aware of B's teevee "persona". I have to wonder myself where and when this "persona" might end because imho she's toxic. I don't think it's a "persona", I think it's who she is. And the potential outing of her co-workers just makes her look like a vindictive shrew. What great exemplary behavior. ETA I am not saying she should have Brynn taken away. Her behavior bothers me.

A darkroom! Wow! I went digital a number of years back and look at all of my binders of negatives and miss the magic. And wonder, What the heck am I gonna do with all these? Congrats on keeping it happening. And real. Though I do love the luxury of taking a gazillion shots and deleting deleting deleting. And the almost instant gratification of a Kodak photomaker is so fun. But there's nothing like the darkroom. I'm sure you'll do well in your recovery/rehab and get back to your active unencumbered life. You've got the spirit!
