They're barely even waaay in the background. Ivanka and Jared are in Croatia. And I think the boys are off killing more innocent animals. Hopefully someone on one of these "news" networks will report on that. NYPost,WashPo and The Hill and others are all reporting it.

Indeed! I went back to CNN after @Medicine Crow's post and was able to handle about 3 minutes of that ... person. The looks on the counterpoint's face were priceless and I'm sure mirrored my own. Thanks for the info. He was detestable. Brooke seems to be better at minimizing crosstalk than most. But I'm new to CNN. I usually watch MSNBC but, Rio. Not a summer Olympics person. I think the Housewives have less talkover so I've been more Bravo's bitch today. With a quick side of CNN during some commercials.

Or they dumped him. They all picked a strange time for vacay. I missed it. I had to change the channel. The previous segment was too much talkover and Trump economic-representative smug. That seems to be a pattern with his reps.

Oh god, and Alex trying on all those "designer" clothes. And that scary island photoshoot was so awkward it made me uncomfortable. I think I also liked rooting for the underdogs. The other Hos were kind of mean girls with them. Maybe even worse the way they marginalized so much of what Simply and Alex did. They sometimes came across as such poseuers it was hard not to giggle but they were treated as "fresh meat" by the others Ooh, nice talking head, Lu. "Oh, aren't you special, getting a text from Bethenny." With perfect sarcastic inflection.

Cheers, everyone! Though I think we'll need more than one.

Who's the woman? Is that Jill? The hair looks wrong. I love that kind of sidewalk art.

I enjoyed the Alex and Simon camp-factor but they usually seemed kind of desperate. And @ScoobieDoobs nailed it with the overacting. They come across as trying too hard. Dare I say desperate? But they did give me a good chuckle from time to time. Simon's red leather pants come to mind. I'm not sure which ep was just on but does Bethenney have to always wear her bikini in the kitchen? Coverups can be your friend! Especially around boiling water, sizzling oil etc. Plus, imho, she doesn't look all that great. Ribs and sinew and bones.... And agree she looks better now. She's just too wound up.

I still managed to miss the first one! And I still just really don't get that Jill made this huge faux pas by showing up. I actually feel kind of bad for her. And I had forgotten just how "fragile" Alex was. Oh, the angst. They all look better and more natural except for B's obvious bolt-ons. They had an interesting discussion re: penis size. B asked Sonja if there are sizes that could be associated with different nationalities. Sonja kinda' blushed and said no but that she's seen a correlation with size and bald heads and ear size. Going on to mention one of her baldies w/ big ears was huge. Bethy seems the most uptight of the group. Never seems to relax. And her jaw is huge.

It's like he couldn't decide if it was summer or winter so split the difference w/a summery shirt and an itchy winter sweater. And then when they were standing together at the end he had just one front shirttail hanging out. Sloppy. Maybe Mika is refusing to dress him.

I don't think any of them can get Katrina Pierson to shut up. Nails on a chalkboard. I'm surprised she's ever invited back. She's the master of the talkover.

So, let me get this straight. Joe plays a snippet of a Trump speech in which Trump uses the words "regime change" before going on with a more moderate speech and Joe does not mention the "regime change" part and instead focuses of Trump's "pivot"? Really? Oh, and Joe? That shirt does not go with that sweater. Should have stuck with the navy blue. Or maybe a jacket? Like everyone else at the table is wearing? Gah!

From the WashPo article: "Trump has taken a particular interest in the Old Post Office project, citing it on the campaign trail as a symbol of his business acumen and bragging it will be open when the nation is ready to inaugurate its next president. In the fallout over the restaurant deal, he wasted little time in personally seizing the more than $250,000 Andrés’s company had set aside as collateral at the start of the project" Hopefully people will start putting morals clauses in their Trump-contracts. What a... imho And hopefully those tapes will be made public.

Don't give him any ideas!

I'm not seeing a fit. Wouldn't the NY crew eat her alive? But if she brought that fridge... lol -

And if I do rewatch I will not (not) look at Joy's feet. -
I love words. The OED uses the words "easily imposed on" while they cite the OED origin: "Middle English me(o)c (also in the sense 'courteous or indulgent'), from Old Norse mjúkr 'soft, gentle'." I prefer your Greek. Wonder what happened between then and that ^^^ I might have to video up the Duggs' weddings. They have to be less enervating than that dreary Counting On. For research only!

Hopefully it was sidehugs all around. Not ready for a rewatch. I had to watch with mute and admittedly I have watched not a whole lotta' of Dugg but they almost all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Except for maybe whoever that was leaning, knee up, against the tree. Josiah? Is singing something they do? For instance, that senior ctr. visit, did they sing? Harmonize? I remember being a little freaked when performing and traveling fundie families were on shows like Wife Swap. -
I did too! I looked at it again expecting to see a shirtless male and... my eyes!

Like a puppy mill. (Almost) unbelievable.
