  1. Yeah, did Carrie even smoke before? Anyway, it gives me pause that Saul is so willing to not only negotiate, but trust and even be friendly with Haqqani, the guy that invaded the American Embassy, murdered dozens of americans and slit Fara's throat.
  2. What a great episode. This season is, IMO, almost as good as season 1. The writers finally got their groove back. I was in tears when they found the tape, and it reminded me that my brother still has a tape with the voice of our father, so I was especially emotional about it. Little by little the puzzle starts to make sense and we found who owns that house, and why it is special. Damn writers, you got me good. For the season to be perfect and end on a high note, I just hope Madison isn't Kevin's baby mama.
  3. I absolutely adore Quinn, but I would hate for Homeland to resort to such cheap storytelling. Same for Brody (except that I don't love him. At all) I do have a feeling though that Brody's death was faked and that he's alive and will end up walking into the sunset with Carrie. Hope I'm wrong.
  4. So, Saul is kidnapped by the Taliban...again. How original! What a fresh storyline! Is Saul the dumbest person alive? I think he is. The best part of the episode was seeing Quinn in the opening credits.
  5. I read somewhere that, even though book 3 has not been released yet, the show will follow its plot.
  6. A little late to the party... but... I loved the season, and love the series, but the ending, to me, would have been a perfect series finale. Joe is trapped in his own hell, but still looking for the next victim. I don't know how they'll make a season 3.
  7. Shannen has stage 4 breast cancer 😞 https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/celebrity/shannen-doherty-reveals-breast-cancer-back-now-stage-4-n1129651
  8. Or the demon her daughter let into their home.
  9. Are Kevin and Sophie TPTB's endgame? Judging by this episode, it sure seems like it (not that I'm complaining; I like them).
  10. Didn't David say that, in order to be possessed, the person must let the devil in? That was literally Lexi letting the devil in. I wonder if it's really Kristen who is possessed.
  11. The idiot daughter that opended the door made me want to scream. So, Kristen is possessed? WTF was that final scene? The episode was a let down, and the goat with horns as the devil is simply ridiculous.
  12. This is one of my favorite episodes. Season 4 was, to me, the best season, on par with 1 and 2.
  13. Yep. I think TPTB sounded really hostile regarding Quinn possibly having a bigger fan following than Brody.
  14. The Hollywood Reporter's cover is about Homeland. Lots of behind the scenes info. Seems there was some drama with Rupert Friend, at least in the beginning. They also talk about the risk that was casting Mandy Patinkin, who had a reputation of walking out of TV shows. And much more. It's a great read. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/homeland-declassified-battles-backlash-cia-meetings-a-secret-call-edward-snowden-1269957
  15. I don't think Kevin will get back with Sophie. The only person who can be pregnant in a few month's time with Kevin's baby is Cassidy. I like Sophie better than Cassidy though.
  16. I remember Justin's short stint on "Cold Case". He left abruptly too, I am not sure why or if he left to join Grey's.
  17. How in the world did Neil Jordan and Julia Stiles get into this mess? Were they blackmailed? Dear Gawd. This is like a bad telenovela. Twist after twist and it doesn't make any sense.
  18. Julia Butters is absolutely wonderful in this, and her hilarious exchange with Leo is the highlight of the movie (though, to me, the whole movie is wonderful; this scene is just the cherry on top). She is beautiful too; looks a lot like Brooke Shields at that age. Her character's seriousness about her "craft" cracked me up.
  19. Oh, Rory Kinnear aka The Creature will play a complately different role? I'm intrigued. LOVED the original, will watch the new, but of course it won't be the same without Vanessa, Sir Malcolm & Ferdinand Lyle, aka the best! character! EVER!
  20. I loved it! And I'm no Tarantino fan. I think people who are in their 40s and 50s will enjoy this way more than younger folks. Never thought I'd say these words, but yes! Brad Pitt for the Best Actor Oscar!
  21. Katja Herbers and Mike Colter are pretty active on Twitter and they interact with everyone that talks to them about the show. I think they are super happy to know the show has fans 🙂 This was a weird episode. I know David is not going to die, so there's not much suspense there. I don't think sexytimes Grandma is possessed, I think she's always had an evil streak that Leland just helped come to the surface, so to speak.
  22. Yeah, nice twist. I hope they don't go the 'Leland is possessed' route. That man chooses to be pure evil. As humans do.
