  1. I came here to post the exact same thing. The only thing I still care about in this stupid show is Odelle and hot Luke hooking up. Damn, he is foiiine. I thought there was no way this was going to happen other than in my imagination or fanfic but why would the ghost of his dead girlfriend say to Odelle that she knew Odelle wanted Luke? Anyway, this show is still stupid. Only 2 episodes left, thank Gawd.
  2. This show is horrible. Horrible. 13 episodes of Odelle escaping/being captured/escaping ad eternum? Seriously? WHO THOUGHT THAT COULD WORK?? The conspiracy angle? Dumb! Ruby the killer barbie? It's cliche after cliche. It's just so so stupid.
  3. I think they hired him because he is very innocent, cute, all-american looking, to contrast with the horrible things he does. But yes, he has no talent whatsoever. The french actor playing Victor is not so innocent and cute looking, he's just creepy. Am I wrong or american version Victor is way more evil than french version Victor (who is en evil f*ck too)?
  4. Here are my two cents on Derek's death, Patrick's departure and Shonda's shenanigans: I am not as outraged as others but sure she could have handled things differently. Derek could have stayed in Washington, leaving Meredith single and maybe looking for love (or not), only to reunite with him in the her last scene on the show (like Carol Hathaway and Doug Ross). The fact that Patrick tweeted a picture of himself driving and holding his cell phone (was he tweeting? whatsapping?) and that Derek died because he was driving and looking for his cell phone seems very vindictive and petty. Just like with TR, she literally threw his character under the bus. I don't hate her and I think she is a great storyteller even though she lets real life stuff get in the way of good fiction. Oh well 11 seasons is a pretty good run. If she's smart next season will be the last, just one more season to give a proper farewell to the characters we still care and maybe bring some of the old timers that left without a proper goodbye. I personally don't give a damn about Meredith's long lost sister and the new interns. No one wants to watch a show with these people. Hell, even Bailey, who used to be my favorite early on, is now insufferable. So Shonda, just kill this puppy. I am not nor has ever been a MerDer shipper but they were the heart and soul of this show. I don't think many will tune in after this. Just give these people a proper exit.
  5. My two cents on the finale: Mei is by no means an undeserving winner, she's been there head to head with Gregory and from the beginning it was fairly obvious these two would battle it out in the finale. But, early on it was pretty transparent that the whole narrative was gearing towards a female win. Maybe to redeem the show from last season's debacle, where yes, a female chef kicked ass the whole season and then lost to the mediocre guy who skated by the whole season. Plus, the Michael Voltaggio connection that Mei inexplicably kept dropping. Oh well. I would rather eat Gregory's food. As the judges say in the blogs, Mei's a "chef's chef", her food "is not to be eaten every day" and "makes you think" and that is NOT a compliment to me. I'm so tired of weird ass food passing for high art, "food that makes you think" (that was their excuse as well on Top Chef Duels to give the title to CJ). I want books and movies that make me think and food that makes my belly happy, but whatever.
  6. Yay Gregory! I'm so happy for him! The judges were positively raving about his dishes. I thought Mei deserved to go based on this challenge alone, even though she was great in the previous ones. Dougie got the toughest ingredients and was a good sport about it. Oh well, I wouldn't want someone from LCK winning so maybe it was for the best. Greg for the win!
  7. I think this is the first time that I am completely ok with any of the remaining contestants winning. Though I do think that Gregory and Mei are more deserving of the title.
  8. Oh Gregory, I love you but you really are struggling. It kinda pisses me off that he was so great throughout the whole competiton only to stumble in the final episodes, while Melissa was mediocre and skating by and suddenly she's making killer food. But then I remember the guy that won last year that was awful troughout the season and had 2 good dishes near the end and ended up winning over Nina. I kinda love Mei and her bitchface, If Gregory doesn't win, then I would love for her to.
  9. Aaand Melissa goes to the finale. Wow. I was not expecting that, especially because of their fawning over Mei's dish. I love Melissa's mom though. And she's an aerospace engineer? Wow. I love Gregory but he definitely lost some of his luster. Hope he makes it to the finale.
  10. Why is Melissa still there? It boggles the mind.
  11. Eh, they finally managed to make CJ win. Top Chef has been eager to do that for years. His food probably tastes like crap. I mean, he won over Tiffany and Takashi with a plate of peas? Really? Cause, you know, his food "makes you think". I'd rather have food that is delicious, but that's just me. What a load of crap.
