He wrote the best Carrie/Big episodes (as a big Carrie/Big shipper, I know, believe me). By the way, what is the portmanteau name of the Carrie/Big pairing? Barrie? Cig? I'm partial to Cig ;)

I'm enjoying this season, which, unlike season 1, isn't a complete horror show. I loved this episode, it did make sense and Aidan and Carrie felt organic. That said, "Big was a big mistake"?? Wtf? Why does MPK feel the need to shit on everything viewers and fans loved about the original series? Is it because of Chris Noth's problems? That felt ugly, petty and wrong. I can't get over how great John Corbett looks. In fact, he looks better this time around than he did 20 years ago. Charlotte and Miranda's storylines were good too. I am actually looking forward to the next episode!

John Corbett is looking really good. If he had work done, it's subtle and wonderful and I definitely want his surgeon's number. I wasn't into Carrie and Aidan back then, would be ok with them now, though I cannot fathom why Aidan would be willing to go down that road again. Carrie was awful to him in ways that can't be forgiven or overlooked, even if it was 20+ years ago. I'm liking Che too. Help! So, Miranda couldn't figure out by herself and had to be told she could easily escape from her horror date? Jesus. Anthony is tiresome. So are Lilly and Rock.

It totally did. I was expecting Christopher Walken to show up ;) Anyway, think it was intentional - a homage I loved Gaap. And Boney M. Omg, I love that band. Ma Baker - my fave music growing up. I don't know how I feel about Black Mirror veering off the technology angle. I enjoyed this episode a lot though.

It was a big wtf moment for me. Hands are often full of germs of the things you touch.It's just gross. And stupid. And gimmicky. And they were all oohhhh ahhhh-ing over it. I mean, they have no choice, I guess, but to do that even if they don't like it (the gimmick, not the food).

Oh, I took it just as, he's competing a second time, back to back on top of that. I didn't see it as implying he's too good for TC or something like that. And Tom is not Buddha's biggest fan. I think Padma is. I did notice the duck feet thing. He probably does have back or neck problemas, poor thing. Reducing Buddha to only being technically proficient is unfair, I think (though it seemed to be the compliment he got the most from the guests). As someone upthread said, he is a kind of a culinary genius: makes flavorful, delicious food, is creative, has a ton of technique and is very precise in his plating. His dishes are so beautiful. They do look a bit fussy or old fashioned at times, I agree. But it's his thing, I guess. I hope a lot of great opportunities come to Sara and Gabri. I love love love her, and Gabri is a sweetheart. Oh and regarding Buddha's alleged sour face when someone gets a compliment: I don't think so! He has the same expression when people get compliments or are criticised. Maybe he has resting sour face. As a fellow resting sour faced person, I emphatize. We are not displeased! That's just our blank expression.

I didn't let out a scream (of joy) when Buddha was announced as the winner. Nope, not me. I was thinking Gabri would win, based on the comments of his meal being audacious (Buddha's got few compliments except for praising his technical skills). I thought Buddha's seemed tame and almost boring in contrast (based on the comments, but that was the editors trying to to fool us, I guess). Buddha is so freaking great. He truly is. Maybe Sara would have a chance if not for the raw liver. Loved the season, loved the winner. Buddha is a force to be reckoned with, and I think he's going to achieve many great things. He is in a league of his own.

I was more sad than I expected when Ali was PYKAG'd. I really like all 4 finalists, and all of them deserved to be there. Buddha and Sara have been my favorites all along, but I'd be happy if Gabri won too. He is a fine chef; maybe not made for the constraints of a competiton of this kind, but fine nonetheless, and he's got a bright future ahead of him. Sara cooks with her heart; Buddha is technical brilliance and Gabri has the best backstory, I was genuinely moved by his speech of "I give my all to the kitchen cause the kitchen gave me all" and his story. May the best chef win. This has been a great, lovely season, and was apleasure to watch. Oh and Padma? Please don't go! I will miss you and your radiant beauty.

Yes, this sounds more like it. Kelli Giddish, Jesse Lee Soffer and Colin Donnell were downright fired, right? I don't think any of these actors had much choice as to whether stay or leave.

There isn't enough WORD! to your posts Buddha is maligned for studying his craft and being prepared. In a competition! I think this disdain can may come from his being super talented and not humble enough, to some viewers (his persoality is perfectly fine to me). People like to root for the underdog and he's clearly not one. Oh well.

Bye Tom! Don't let the door hit ya on the way out! I thought Ali's dish was worse than Tom's, but hey, I'm not complaining. I kind of warmed up to Tom these past few eps but am not sad to see him go. Love that Sara came back and loved that she was able to churn out something good even though the challenge was not up her alley. Buddha is really something. Wow. He is at the top of his game. He's like one of those tennis players that win everything in a span of a few years cause there really is no competition on their level. I know some people think that he wins just because he studied the game, but a lot of the challenges cannot be predicted. He is a mix of technical proficiency and creativity. He really is super creative and has the technique to back it up. I really love Sara but Buddha is just a force of nature, he cannot be stopped. (I just hope he is not eliminated come next episode and I end up with my foot in my mouth)
