  1. I was kind of appalled, but not altogether surprised, that they actually pressured Will to give up the money. It was especially galling since the lawyer didn't want them pursuing the case in the first place. Will put in the most work and put himself into several compromisig situations. He deserved to get something for his trouble. If I were him, I'd take the money, pay off my loans, and go on my merry way for a long vacation. For me, the most satisfying moment was finding out the woman with diverticulits had dumped her fiancé. Oh, as the heart doctor, WTF? You threaten to report someone for disciplinary action and in the next second, you're headbutting them? Buh-bye.
  2. This made me think of Mapleworth Murders. Nicole Byer has a guest spot that show, and her character has a wine-induced orgasm in the middle of a party. Way over the top. I guess that's her thing.
  3. They weren't meant to be orgasming. They were doing impressions of James Brown. He made funk music and the wine was "funky." Kind of a silly pun, but also kind of clever. I didn't know it was the finale, either. I hope it gets renewed. I wonder what's going in that time slot next.
  4. Good on Goodwin for slyly showing Dr. Shentu why his policies don't work. I love how Archer tries to flex Shentu and mock his performance as if he's never thoroughly fucked up a patient's care. Has he forgotten that his actions led to Ethan being shot?
  5. Anthony is vegan and an accountant. He's a planner who has a lot of rules about how to do things (date, casual sex, vacation, hike in the woods). He and Sherm are roommates. Oh, and apparently he has sexy calves. 😂
  6. I really liked the episode. I lol'ed at Sherm and Noah's outfits and at Noah's line about all that money making him miss social cues.
  7. He did get some money for the show at the school, enough for a Coney Island trip. Oh my goodness, I had completely forgotten that Sheryl Lee Ralph was on Moesha.
  8. I agree. The flirty comments are bad enough, but waving the dollar bill was too much. I get that they are using it to show how inappropriate Ava's behavior is, but it's flagrant enough that they need to address it. I was pleasantly surprised that they had Jacob be the mature voice of reason. He's been a little one note with his overeagerness, so it was nice to see a different side to him.
  9. After seeing these photos, I think the issue with Janine's clothes is not that they don't match, but rather that they are shapeless and too big for her. Clothes that fit well pretty much always look good. She's a tiny person wearing huge clothes. I was hoping Melissa would get at least one jab in on Sahar.
  10. I'm watching season 2, and I cannot with Amy. She spends weeks overreacting, playing the wronged party, and refusing to speak to Mark over a kiss. But then she wants instant forgiveness about hiding her husband, all the while staying in Mark's house, while Mark lives elsewhere. Then when she finally fesses up while Mark is in the middle of the toughest case of his career, and she forces him to talk to her. And she is STILL staying in HIS house. Bitch what? He's having a tough time at work -- he should at least be able to come home and relax. She needs to get the hell out of his house.
  11. I'm watching this episode. I'd forgotten about my favorite line: "He saw my emotional genitalia." Also, Noah displaying a copy of She Comes First to attract women.
  12. That makes sense. My teachers in the 80s wore clothes of the same shape, though with less wacky colors and patterns.
  13. Yeah, she's not my favorite either, but she's gotten better with each episode. I do like that her character is the who talks most openly talks about sex.
  14. That's my favorite episode of the original The Wonder Years. I remember feeling so happy at the end when they were dancing together.
  15. Wasn't he though? Nice hair, too. He's the second hot dad I've seen on NBC lately. The actor who played Dr. Scott's dad on Chicago Med was beautiful, too. My first thought was that Noah is going to have a hard time getting all that pie out of his hair.
  16. Kids were given the polio vaccine at school. People were more willing to take vaccines back then, though. It's too bad the husband went nuclear with getting a lawyer, but I get that he was desperate. Trying to berate his wife into changing her mind was his first mistake. That tactic rarely works.
  17. I'm kinda annoyed that Dylan's ex keeps running back to him for help, and he keeps saying, "Come to me for help," when they both know her husband hates Dylan. There are other doctors, and there are other hospitals. Dylan could easily pass her off to another ER doc when she shows up.
  18. This is my favorite episode so far. They all have such good timing, and the judge's speech was the cherry on top.
  19. He looked younger than 11 or 12, and Dylan hadn't seen them in 12 years.
  20. Why was the ED so dark in the final scene with Stevie and Will? I know was supposed to be late at night, but they still need to see what they are doing. It's not like they were on a patient care floor where most of the patients would be asleep.
  21. Wasn't the daughter Vanessa's patient? I think Dr. Charles wanted her in the room to see if she was right about not calling CPS before talking to the mother. She's still learning from him and the other docs. Choi re-injured his back when he tried to play Superman after coming back to soon. Who knows when we'll see him again. Crockett has turned the daughter down flat, what, three times now? Looks like she finally got the message. I feel bad for her, and I don't blame her for trying, but I do hope she stops pursuing him. It does put him in a tough spot if he is into the mom, though. It could get a bit awkward. The mom seems like she wants to keep it professional for now anyway.
  22. Just finished Season 5. I don't think I actually made it to Season 5 during the original run. I might have stopped some where in Season 3. I don't understand what Michael was telling Olivia by pressing his finger to his lips. I also don't understand why he let himself be captured by Windmark. Was it just so Olivia would take the Cortexiphan that would allow her to kill Windmark?
  23. The Thanksgiving episode had me crying laughing. "Y la estatua de las boobies. Esa qué?" Why, oh why, did Lupe ask about their couples therapy? I'm still not convinced that Erik and Lidia should be together. They seem mismatched. My other favorite moment was Yessika telling off the Uber driver. I don't get what the immigration judge was trying to pull with Pop. Chatting about breakfast in one sentence, then disparaging him in the next?
  24. They do seem to have cleaned house with the cast. I do miss some of the guests stars (Abrams, Latham, the lawyer, the nurses), but I can't say that I miss the lead actors who've left. The show has a different feel, but that's a good thing. I used to hate-watch this show, big time. My mom probably thought I was nuts when I talked about the show because it clearly bugged me. The storylines were over the top and repetitive, and the doctors constantly behaved in unethical ways. Now the show is more mature. The cases and the doctors' behavior is more realistic while still being dramatic. Frankly, the show is a little boring compared to previous seasons, but it's way more enjoyable to watch because I'm not rolling my eyes every five minutes.
  25. I'm loving how eager Dr. Transplant's daughter is to get Crockett naked. She's all "Shall we shag now or shag later?" Brian Tee's neck seems thicker than it was before. Why didn't Crockett or Archer just do the procedure when they saw that Ethan needed to take off his brace? Was Ethan the only one who knew how to do it?
