After Double Date, I think Janine is fully aware of how Gregory feels about her. Now she's waiting for him to say something since he pointedly rejected her the last time. At this point, I wouldn't mind if she went on a date with Manny. At least he's being clear about his feelings. I can relate, too. That line was awesome. At first I thought that other teacher was going to be another one of Melissa's sisters.

My favorite comedic moment was Phillipa's description of how she and Albion were having sex: he makes a funny noise, then he has to change his britches. Lol. I don't know why these mothers just assume their daughters will figure out sex on their own. Albion is not the type to have gone to brothels. Regent is for royalty only, but I do wonder what the Mondriches's situation is called. I'm researching it.

Benedict did handle the family business while Anthony was away on his honeymoon, and I assume he will continue to do so with Anthony gone again. He did say he felt aimless without those responsibilities. Hopefully he will take up art again. What I find strange is that Anthony left in the middle of the social season, when he's supposed to be looking out for Francesca (I know A and K's second honeymoon was a plot device). Benedict should be taking a more active role with her.

I never realized how stunning the actress who plays Phillipa is. She looks so different with her hair down and wearing somewhat softer colors. I really don't like that they married such dolts. Portia's baby race is already tiresome.

I like the idea that Francesca is a shy introvert who just wants to be left alone to play the piano. I like that both she and Eloise are not into all of the society stuff, but Francesca is not disdainful like Eloise was. Anthony seems like a totally different person now that he's happy.

The costume designers have outdone themselves. My favorite pieces from episode 1 were Lady Danbury's white ensemble and Eloise's coat/duster in the final scene with Colin. The only thing that bugged me was that the continuity was off with Kate and Anthony. They're supposed to be just back from their honeymoon, but at the end of season two we saw them just back from their honeymoon. None of the characters had their updated looks yet, and Colin was present. Per what we saw in this episode, Colin should still have been on his trip at that time.

I'm seriously considering getting up at 3am to watch it as soon as it's released. Re: the article about Nicola — the thing that strikes me about the actors who play the couples, and the entire cast really, is how much they love each other. You could really see it in the behind-the-scenes with Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey. They clearly had a great deal of affection for each other.

S09.E11: I Think There Is Something You’re Not Telling Me

So Loren is just going to act like he didn't tell Maggie he has feelings for her? Or maybe he forgot what he said when he was sick? -
I'm so excited for the new season! Everyone looks so beautiful.

I share Betty's disapproval of Will and Angie kissing. I have no desire to watch that relationship of doom restart. That was a really good fight scene with Faith. It was more exciting because their skills were equally matched.

I've been watching S02 off and on this year.

Oh my goodness, he is freakin' adorable. 😍 At first, it was weird seeing him out of character.

S09.E09: Spin A Yarn, Get Stuck In Your Own String

When they first introduced her a few seasons ago, the hospital staff all assumed she was with him only for his money, but it turned that she was more wealthy than him. -
Janine held them over at the end of the day to make her announcement. I assumed that Melissa's ribs were in the slow cooker at home and she wanted to get to them. It was hard to see, but the jelly bean belt had jelly bean-shaped decorations on the buckle.

She's a scientist. There was that episode with the explosion at her lab.

This and Amanda has a history of giving Faith a hard time about her boyfriends. That may have made sense when Faith was a teenager who got pregnant accidentally, but it's inappropriate for her to be doing that to a woman in her 30s.

We had a long-term sub when I was in 4th grade because my teacher had to have surgery. I was so sad when the sub left and my teacher returned. She'd told us she was would be in another classroom at our school that following week, but she was sent somewhere else, and I never saw her again 😔

But isn't the whole point of the show that she's starting her life over and moving on? Why wouldn't a romance be part of that? The story with Phillip was emotional, but it got resolved. Ever since she had that cute date with the ghost, I've been wanting her to a find living person to date. I like that she's having something fun and not too serious in her life after how rough the preceding year was. Plus, Nell has been so wrapped up in Edward's and Sam's lives. She needs something of her own. I'm glad they got the "I like you. Do you like me?" part over with instead of dragging out a "will they, won't they" situation.

It looks like Lady Danbury will be helping someone pick out a suitor. With the editing, I couldn't tell whom she was talking to, maybe Penelope, though Francesca seems more likely. I think Francesca is definitely getting a plot this season. I haven't read the books, but from what I understand, she has a relationship that precedes her book, so they have to do the set-up to her story in an earlier season.

😂 The look on Amanda's face when she said "Ormewood, I *know* you are not eating in my car," including the eye-squint. Priceless. Why is Amanda cock-blocking Faith? So unnecessary.
-
I had completely missed that she called him "Wilbur." 🥹 Re: how Faith found out what Amanda had done. I wonder if Will or even Amanda gave her heads up about the press conference.
-
Yes, it was two different actors. The actor in the flashbacks was Chad Gall.
-
Faith's mom told him everything. That might have been the first time he's ever seen a photo of himself that young. He seemed really touched to find it.

It bugs me so much when movies and TV shows defy the laws of physics. The people survived in those lifeboats in the middle of that storm with huge waves when there was no one nearby to pick them up? How? Of course the show was never going to go there with that devastating of an outcome, but that was a huge leap.

There was also the guy who was killed by the first bomb, the communications officer, so it was 3 out 4. He did do a really good death scene. The only thing I could think about when they were on the couch was how sore they must be from all their strenuous activities of the night before. Not sure how they will get busy with everything on their bodies hurting, but I suppose where there's a will, there's a way.
