My impression was that Janine did not like the food. She was playing along since Gregory seemed to be enjoying the experience. She took a small bite and then sarcastically said "Having a ball!" when he talked about the flavors dancing in his mouth. But then she couldn't pretend anymore and blurted out "I can't eat this." She's even the one who says, "Let's go."

So, Angie is still not showing much remorse. I really did not like that neither she nor Will mentioned that Crystal also ended up dead.

I grew up in Cleveland in the 80s and 90s, and it wasn't uncommon for kids to take the city bus to school. There was even a program for students to get discounted (or maybe free?) bus tickets or passes. They're might have been a lower age limit, but back then people were less worried about young kids being out on their own. I rode a school bus until 6th grade, but if I missed it, I could take the city bus on my own. I switched to a private school on 7th grade, and I had to take a bus and a train to get to school.

I haven't been in college for a long time. Do frat boys still dress like that? That v-neck sweater was preppy 80s gear.

I wish I had Amanda to shop for me! I know a teen wouldn't like that, though. That was my first thought. Why weren't they all fleeing the room? Angie getting her job back is BS. One thing I like about this show is that the female officers get to kick ass on a regular basis. Angie's fight scene was awesome. Doctor Pete and Franklin are my favorite supporting characters. I don't like how they keep disrespecting Pete. I wanted to see his improv skills.

I just spotted Kayvon Esmaili, the actor who played Faith's crush, Dr. Farhad, on an episode of High Potential! I squeed.

I had to LOL when Owen asked Judd if his daughter had "moved out," as if she got fed up, packed her bags, and got her own place.

Your question made me curious, because it seems unethical to use a placebo in a cancer clinical trial. I found this info on the National Cancer Institute website: https://www.cancer.gov/research/participate/clinical-trials/how-trials-work
-
If the drug is experimental, then it hasn't yet been FDA-approved for treatment of that specific disease (it may have already to been approved to treat something else). The drug is still being tested. If the patient can get into a clinical trial, then they can participate in the testing for low or no cost, or even get paid to participate. If the patient can't get into a clinical trial, the drug company may make the drug available to them, but the patient will likely have to pay for it. Their insurance company won't cover it.

My favorite line was in the scene where Melissa is listing the names of the meats she's having at her dinner, and Gregory says "Do any of these words have endings?"
-
The piece of paper had the bartender's name and phone number. She knew Mel needed a friend. The apartment belonged to the other patient, Elise. I assume Mel got the address from Elise's ID, which would have been in the bag from the hospital.

Billie is the White House chief of staff, so she's closely involved with everything happening there. A Netflix fan wiki says that she and Stuart used to work on campaigns together.

Could someone refresh my memory -- who is Lena?

I love Langston Kerman, so I just about squealed when he popped up on my TV. His smile, even when it's a threatening fake smile, is beautiful. Plus, he's always funny. My favorite small moment was the "Alright, now" exchange between Gregory and Tariq at the beginning. It from "we cool" to "we not cool" and then back to "we cool."

It was either to show us the intimacy of their relationship or to emphasize how sloppy and uncouth Kate is.
-
At this point, I don't understand how Kate has this job at all. She is constantly being led around by the nose by someone: Eidra, Hal, Roylin, the VP, and even the PM sometimes. The only people she shows authority with are Austin, Stuart, and the PM, and they all successfully push back when they get sick of her. With Hal she says mean shit to him, but that's weakness, not power. I really did not like seeing Austin constantly bowing to other people's will this season. Kate and embassy staff repeatedly summoned him, and the PM and his wife were so disrespectful (though they are that way with everyone). He is an important person with a big job. The PM is his boss, okay, but who TF is Kate to be giving him orders? Also, I get that Stuart is reeling from their breakup and his injury, but he needs to give Eidra some space. Can't they talk when they're not on duty?

Sometimes prosecutors get overzealous. If she has a good lawyer, the whole thing can get shut down more quickly.

I've just started the French show, so I'm not that far in. Wasn't Episode 2, with the tap dancers, also original to this version?
-
And she had the clever idea to turn up the heat to get O'Shon to take off his jacket. Nice.

Their relationship feels like a romance between two real-life middle-aged people who haven't dated in a while. It seems realistic to me, but it lacks the excitement you typically see in TV romances. If his awkwardness is an indication that he doesn't know how to interact with women, that may be a clue as to why he is no longer married 😂 Couldn't agree more. His uncombed hair is distractingly bad.

Jax seems to be having doubts about the new baby and her marriage. I really did not like how she confronted Toni in the school pickup line. It's like her desire for a fight with Toni is overriding her wish that the baby would go away. It still doesn't mean she wants the child in their lives.
-
It was at the beginning of the last episode. I just rewatched both scenes, and it does look like the same person.

Tbh, I'm annoyed by how much publicity they are doing when they've barely started filming. Doesn't that mean the actors are doing double-duty (working and interviews at the same time)? I'd rather they focus on making the season good than building anticipation.
-
When Lewis was talking about Jax and the Damon drama, I was shouting "You better say it!" I feel awful for Jax with this new baby, but she better not play Sally Innocent.
-
Oh, right. I forgot about her. Though from their interaction, I got the impression that Terrance isn't as serious about the other woman as she is about him. Not the best behavior on his part.
