Just got the movie collection (and I'm almost done). It was good to see so many returning characters, but I was wondering about "Murders & Misdemeanors." Was Booker originally supposed to Gandolph Fitch? Was Isaac Hayes busy, or too expensive?

I agree. True Detective S2 was pretty bad, Westworld looks questionable, and the Leftovers is nothing a but a huge bummer with good actors (who deserve better). The ray of light for me is Vinyl. It looks cool as heck. I get that not every show can be a winner, but HBO is in a slump this year as far as dramas go.

The Boston episode wasn't amazingly offensive, but I do understand why it was pulled. I do feel that Osama bin-Ignignokt and Ayman Al-Err should have been recycled for another episode.

"Deez Nuts"<- Funny "Deez Tiddaes"<- Not so much Maybe it's just the society we live in, but "Tiddaes" are usually a pleasant thing to contemplate, whereas bringing up your testicles kind of bums people out.

The AIDS mistakes do seem distracting to me. I was 10 in 1983, and all I heard about the disease were from these sources: -Eddie Murphy (not helpful) -News (informative, but also fed into scaremongering) -Doctor friends of my parents (blunt talk about safer sex practices with 10-year-olds may seem inappropriate, but it made an impression on me when I finally got to have sex...7 years later) Point is that for all the show gets right, it failed on this front.

When this show is on its game, it is brilliant. Problem is that it is still inconsistent. It's either amazing or a total failure. I'm not saying the days are numbered for this show, but Trevor Noah has no room for error now.

Not happy with today's show. A giant explosion happens in China, and all I've seen for the past hour is a rehash of Trump 2016 BS.

It turns out it was an issue with the cable company only. They screwed up the signal sent out. In other words: never mind.

After the last upgrade, all SD is recognized as HD, so any attempt to fix the aspect ratio on SD programming is useless. HD is fine.

Anyone having problems with the aspect ratio on MeTV? Nothing fixes it.
