  1. So Cameron and Oscar for the win. This is my new OTP. It's perfect for the show because it's messy as hell with the fact that Cameron's brother is Oscar's cousin. I don't think people are allowed to be in relationships on the show very long unless they have at least one relative in common. This is the true reason that frizz remains.
  2. I don't think Kevin would cheat on Laura. That's just not the kind of guy he is and frankly it would be a disservice to his character. Develop feelings maybe that become an issue later but not actual rekindling.
  3. Griffin also said that technically he wasn't supposed to stay in a place where he had served as a priest because the temptation to give counsel would be high and he wasn't supposed to do that. I don't know that he necessarily provided counsel or pastoral care but he did a lot of motivational speaking to a lot of people a lot of times in the chapel. That could definitely look bad. It's totally stupid though
  4. I can't stop laughing at the fact that the previews for tomorrow are all of these like Turning Point conversations and then Sam and Jason staring at each other
  5. He kind of waffles back and forth. He would very rarely call him dad or "my dad" back when they finally got to some kind of understanding when he lived in town. Mostly he's called him Mike, but I think the Dad thing now is intentional so Mike remembers who he is, lol.
  6. Well, it's not like Val really has a relationship with any Spencer besides Bobby and Lulu anyway. Besides, I don't know how they would acknowledge it in a way that wasn't awkward as fuck, and unnatural. Like "hey, how's my cousin Michael doing?" or something sounds odd. The best could be "Aunt Bobbie said..." but she doesn't refer to her that way that I know of, so it would be shoehorned in. I know and spend time with people who are tangentially related to me all the time (grew up in a small town, hard not to) and we don't make a habit of signing off on those shared relatives when we meet. Gossip about them though? totally. Now, Nina's telling Maxie about Wiley's birth? that's a whole nother story.
  7. See, I'm a bad person because watching the scenes at Charlie's I though "I'd watch Julian/Kristina..." I know it's icky, but, I would. With popcorn.
  8. Yeah, it was lazily written and they could have come up with something better for sure. I don't like Robert anyway, so I'm slightly biased there.
  9. This is going to be a terribly unpopular opinion that may even fray the bonds of friendship in this thread, but... I don't like Robert Scorpio. I wasn't old enough to watch GH during his first run, i was 12 when i started in the mid 90's, and every time I've seen him since he came back from the dead he's been self righteous, sneering, and annoying. Like, so much sneering at people. He was ok there for a while when he was on consistently several years ago, but I was barely warming up to him and he was gone again, only returning to tell people how to live their lives, and being 5 times everything that makes me not like Robin that much outside of Scrubs.
  10. I don't blame Anna for not being with Robin when the Stone situation happened, I do blame Robert though. I mean, Anna was living with a decade of amnesia and brain damage and found Robin right away when she could, so I get it. Robert was just faking his death for... reasons.
  11. Saban was/is a television production company that made both Power Rangers and VR Troopers, which Brown worked on. Unless this particular Saban (the wife i mean) did something to her i don't know the issue. Even if Haim Saban himself did something, how is VM being nice to his wife a betrayal? so convoluted. Like, I want to know, but the way she's just randomly throwing shit out there is more harmful to her than anyone else, it makes her seem vindictive and a little nuts. Not that she necessarily is, but it looks weird.
  12. Right? I mean, Kevin worked with Franco because of Ryan, it's all wrapped up together. Though his idiotic idea of looking to Franco as an example of fixing a serial killer is... yeah...
  13. Yeah the tone of the show is definitely more Grey's or Parenthood and less Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy or whatever. I appreciate the shift.
  14. I unsarcastically really do want to know WTF with that seizure. Although, i really wish Jason was not involved at all. I do NOT WANT a Jason/Kim scene of any kind, tyvm. There are several threads of story i really don't care about right now, like anything Sonny/Carly/Jason and the Ashford Family Feud, but I like the show pretty well most of the time.
  15. Sam dies and we find out that she put Drew as the guardian of both children in her will. And of course, though Carly shoves and demands, Jason could never go against her wishes. Then Drew takes the kids and moves to the other side of town, across the invisibility line, but we hear Jake occasionally talk about him and how much time they all spend together. SORAS Scout to be Aiden's best friend and then great grandma Audrey can retire from permanent child care and the kids can just be with Drew and the kids all the damn time on sleepovers. OOOHHHH Drew can live in the now invisible Gate House at the Qs. Monica can have a home constantly filled with happy children. Jason rides off a cliff on his bike, because the tears in his eyes make his blinking worse and he can't see where he's going. PSA for Helmet Safety.
  16. Yeesh, Jen Landon was good as Gwen, but I can't see her as Lulu at all. Dante needs a recast, because I am NOT watching Lulu and Chase, or Lulu and Peter happen. NO.
  17. And why was she even there if she was so hostile and dismissive? Just annoying
  18. My UO remains the same. I like Franco, I like Friz, I like his interactions with the kids and I like it when he's just accepting of his horrible deeds and moving on with his life, like with Cameron throwing them in his face and him just rolling right along. I also think that he's no more a rapist or sexual predator than Sonny is. Probably less, because that stuff with Karen was disgusting. I do not like his excessive insecurity though. That is not ever attractive.
  19. The way Sonny continued to call Karen "Carrie" or whatever all the time, especially to Scott, was, and still is, fucking disgusting. Why, no, rubbing in your involvement with something that fucked up is not charming.
  20. I'm ready for the Jason/Carly affair to happen. Like, I think it would actually be a good and soapy way to shake things up, because shit is stale as hell right now with that group.
  21. Man, I like that scene for everything except freaking Stella. Jesus, why you gotta be a shrew?
  22. Robin had a big issue with not knowing when to mind her own business, which is what soured me more than anything else. She knew what was right, and by god, you were going to know it too, whether you liked it or not. I never saw her as perfect, or thinking she was, but more that she thought she knew better than others. That crap with Dante is a perfect example. She had NO place in that mess, she deliberately inserted herself to push an agenda. I would have hated that even if it wasn't Sonny she was white washing. Now, having said that... I always hated the way she handled the Michael reveal. Like, if it was so wrong, then why wait until the breaking point in your relationship to say something. It wasn't right. Now that was her business, and it wasn't that she told AJ, it's the when and why.
