I'm glad that Lithgow won the emmy. Also, on a petty note, I am glad that Mandy Patinkin did not. He is insufferably smug (in my opinion).

I really liked this episode. I'm sorry our lovely pod casters didn't talk more about Logan- I thought it was a terrific acting choice when he left the room after seeing the footage of his Mom. It was a slight stagger, and it blew me away. And the actor who plays Duncan...poor guy was out of his league in this show. I've often wondered if he was supposed to have a larger part, but they scaled it back once they saw how he was struggling, the the chemistry between Logan and Veronica. I may be biased about the Logan/Veronica chemistry. Just a little. And I adored it when the paint spray went off in Veronica's face. It was hilarious, and I loved her retorts to her Dad when he saw her.

I liked this episode. We got to see Veronica and Lily be mean girls- so we got a sense of who they were and how they could be to other students- and how different Veronica is now. The little brother's comment to his Dad after he gives back the ring is awesome. Pretend-Thug-Life Dad is going to respect his son's brain big time now. And Logan/Aaron kill it in this episode. Absolutely. Kill. It.

USA badly wants an olympic medal; team, individual, I don't think they care. Perhaps they think Ashley has a better chance with her Moulin Rouge program than a new one. Having not seen it, for all we know it was a disaster (choreography, presentation, music edit et. al). Maybe the Shibs medal, but I don't think anyone else has a chance, sadly. A lot of people who watch the olympics have never seen her Moulin Rouge, it will go over well with the tv/olympic audience. Who knows.

I find similarities between Gracie and Julia: both of them lost competitions where they were favorites going into the long program, and for whatever reasons, they were unable to come back. Expectations can be killer, and I feel for them. Julia has retired, and I wonder if Gracie is far behind. I think she might be a happier skater if she skated exhibitions and shows, rather than compete. I will be surprised if Evegnia will be around for the 2022 winter games, given how deep the russian women's team is.

If Aneela is the daughter of Klyne then why didn't she died when he died- they were supposed to be part of the same green "source." Anyway, I am done with the Aneela character and I'm ready for her to go. now. The hullen rules seem to change every five minutes.

I don't think we ever hear about the Tritons again. Since it was modeled after Yale's security society (skull & bones), I'm pretty certain sports has very little to do with membership. This, I think, was when I started to really like Logan. In his interview with Back Showkiller, we got a peek inside him, and I adored how he stood up to Aaron. For a show that was on a micro/UPN budget, I'm wondering how they got the money to do a helicopter shot (as well as shutting down a bridge to traffic). the "Turn me into Costner" line hasn't aged well. Duncan....yawn. The whole bit with the Fake ID.... Lamb: "Veronica Mars is smarter than me." Veronica: "Oh stop!" Me: Hahahahahahahahaha The delivery was great.

Is there a list of what the original episode order was supposed to be before the network switched everything around? I'd love to know.

Shallow satorial comment: Dutch's hair this week did her no favors. At. All. Still hoping Aneela bites it....soon. The character grates on me. Loved the caper plot line. I wish there was more of those and less Hullen. Thought Jelco's marriage with Borna was hilarious and sweet and kind of icky all at the same time.

I hope it's not some Hullen version of a Borg Queen. I expect more from the writers of this show.

Is this the episode where Logan says, "Ho, ho. Ho." I thought that was hilarious in his delivery. This is definitely one of the best episodes of this season.
