  1. Good job, Carly! Joss was almost about admit she found mob life weird and uncomfortable, but you manipulated her her right back into believing it's all love and roses. Keep up the grooming and she will end up just like you. I'm sure you would have it no other way!
  2. WOW. This will forever and always be my favorite cookery show. The boys brought me to tears this week with their stories of mom's and grandpa's. So is it boo ya base, boo ee ah base, or boo ee yah base, cuz between the chefs, the narrator and the judges, I heard all three! What a delightful season! Happy holidays to you all and hope to see you for the next MC UK!
  3. Thursday's Eastlake Conspiracy... Not much to say, except boy was that guy ready for his 15 minutes of fame. And, Andrea Canning's upspeak at the end of almost every question was unrelenting!!
  4. The topless scene between Michael and Chase almost had a homoerotic undercurrent. Before Chase even said "I thought you were gonna kiss me," I was thinking, can you two just kiss and make up already! Of course Mikey is not really mad at Chase and Sasha's ruse. He is mad that the lie is out and he knows he pales in comparison to Chase and could never win Willow's heart on his own merits.
  5. I didn't even know about the program until I saw these posts! Bummed we are not getting a full season, as I was enthralled by the last one. Was kind of sad that they ended on a hopeful note with things getting better in NYC and starting to open up, knowing that things quickly got worse again. The actress was exhausting and emasculating. I can see why the husband would go elsewhere for emotional support. Don't condone affairs, but geesh! One minute he's weak, but then when things start to go his way, she tears him down for that. She is an alpha for sure. Hope we will get a longer series at some point. Seems like it could have worked to just film it over the internet.
  6. Anyone watching the current season. I am furious they keep putting the scribble guy through!
  7. Cramming a couple ounces of veg into a high fat, high sugar ice cream does not make it a health food. You are still better off NOT eating it. Thus, if you are going to indulge, you might as well enjoy your favorite ice cream and have a small portion.
  8. I think I might like how they are doing the semi-finals this year even more than when the chef's go out to a restaurant to cook. I enjoy watching the guest chef's work and then we get to see two rounds of two-dishes of the contestants cooking. That's a delicious amount of cookery! Though I am sure it is really exciting for the contestants to get to go into famous restaurants and cook, so I would not want to take that away from them.
  9. Psycopaths like Lara are gonna kill somebody whether they will make it on Dateline or not. ...but he sure blew his big moment with Keith! Personally, Dateline has not turned me into a murderer, but it has turned me into a spinster and a junior dectective who spies on everyone in my community. : D Ugh, next week a "royal family" episode. : (
  10. Loving Ava and Nik. But this bullshit with Tracy is pissing me off. She would not do that! Oh great, another baybay. I am hoping maybe it is just a red herring that the producers are having fun with to show us what became of Kim, and it will not really be followed up on, at least for now. I did enjoy how Julian rolled his eyes when the nanny said his name was Andrew. I would rather see Julian run off with Kim and the baby than have it be yet another drama with Liz/Franco. Let them finish their current drama for Christ's sake!
  11. When they got to the last challenge, and there was still almost half the show left, and Phil said what it what was, I thought, ooh, maybe this is gonna be epic and FINALLY spark this season up. ....wah wah wah
  12. I was browsing the library for some memoirs to read and saw Mo has a memoir coming out about his bipolar issues and General Hospital. God help me, I reserved a copy. Before you judge me, I will probably end up hate reading it!
  13. It took me until today to finish watching all the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday games I wanted to see! Now more football tonight. This has become a Goddamn job! : D
  14. @Spunkygal, Have you checked out the BBC's "Race Across the World". Much more entertaining and real than Amazing Race!
  15. WOW, the first episode of the semi-final was amazing. I nearly wept at one of the dishes. The right ones went through. Thank goodness we only lost two. This is going to get painful. It always amuses me when the not-so-humbe chefs talk about how they made some "tiny mistakes" but think they did enough to go through, when they actually made rather significant mistakes and were clearly a step below the others. I loved that they showed us a glimpse of the waiting room!
  16. Ugh. Breaking up JaSam is kind of a momentous thing for this show, and they manage to make it a total snooze. Could we not have some fire, some passion, some histrionics! Can Sam not express the buried rage she has felt all this time. Maybe force Jason to admit he chooses Carson over his own family. Does KeMo's every script direction say "play this like you have just taken some Nyquil." What a wasted opportunity. So, Jason paused for a whole 2 seconds after he left to reflect, then went off to do more mobbin'. That's how much family means to him. I swear to God, if they now have Danny fall into a well, or get kidnapped by someone not mob related and Jason saves the day, I will lose my shit! If Sam were really serious about protecting her kids and allowing them a normal life, she would move to another state/country, change her name, and have zero contact with Jason.
  17. Okay I had to find The Witmans online and watch it! It was good. Ugh, Zack had to have done it. What random murderer wears soccer gloves to comit the crime and then takes the time to bury the murder weapon and the gloves in the victims back yard where anyone might stumble on them. Also, he says all he heard was a "bang"? Really? Cuz Greg was trying to escape and had defensive wounds and was probably screaming, at least until his throat was cut. (Zack later said he heard "suffering" -yikes) Also if Zack found Greg half slumped over the washing machine, would he not still be alive at that point? Otherwise his body would have slid to the ground. Zack seemed pretty chipper at the end, but it seemed fake and like he had a lot going on in there.
  18. Man candy gone. *sigh* Since both their bakes had issues, I would have to examine how Jon and Eva stacked up on the leader board to know if the offing was just. --but they are both a half step below the others.
  19. I also think the snow boots will become popular. Robert has not been on as much. Is that it until the new year then?
  20. For a moment I thought Sasha was trying to help Brando get in better with Cyrus by talking him up, but then I was like, wait, she doesn't know what Brando is up to ....so, no... she's just a feckless idiot. I actually thought KeMo gave 100% effort today. I jest, of course, but I think she gave 15%. Maybe the break up will energize her.
  21. When Anna said someone was missing from Violet's drawing, I thought for sure she was going to say it was Violet's actual mother. I guess no one gives a rat's ass about Hayden anymore. I wonder if Nik is still searching for her. I'm sure the double wedding is so that when Peter is exposed during the ceremony it can destroy Maxie and Anna at the same time in grand fashion. Reserve a front row seat for me!
  22. All in all, I think she handled it pretty well today. I can't blame the family for wanting some time with it before it became a news story.
  23. Me either! Or why the fuck it took so long for law enforcement to even bother to check and see that Cari had not accessed her checking accounts or her credit cards since the day she disappeared! Ridiculous! Liz must have had an insane amount of energy to be doing all that crazy shit, while dating Dave, while presumably holding down some kind of job, while dealing with the cops every other day, etc.
  24. But the wife did not die immediately. Chris said she was still speaking and gurgling, which was confirmed by the coroner that she could have been alive for 5 or so minutes after being shot. So why is Chris jumping to the determination that she is dead and not attending to her at all? And even if she was beyond help, how on earth do you not try to comfort someone you love so much as they are gurgling their last breaths?
