  1. Just finished binging S2. It was must better than S1 or maybe just easier to follow now that I know all their names. $36M in sales in Alexia's first year is pretty impressive although I wonder if that was all co-listings. Between this show and the other real estate shows, I still don't fully understand when agents decide to co-list. I get that sometimes the seller asks two agents to partner but that's typically when they're from different agencies. How does it benefit Joey to co-list with Alexia? Just to share in the workload of marketing/showings, etc? Farrah seemed more at ease in front of the camera this season so I liked her more. Still not a fan of her "best friend" who seemingly took some joy in the demise of her engagement. Ben's still a tool. Loved the addition of Zach. Hope to see Brandon featured more. As a RHONH watcher, I hate Kyle. Totally team Mauricio. Maybe he cheated but the way she's been publicly carrying on with the country singer and dragging this whole storyline out for ratings is not fair to her kids.
  2. Mike was already sober when they started filming Family Vacation. He's been sober since 2015 and the show came back in 2018. While we watched the legal ramifications of his issues play out on the show, personally, he was already in a good place and the roomies could see he was a changed man. Contrast that Ron whose issues really began in 2018, right when the show started filming (although one could certainly argue he's had issues for much longer). He was arrested in 2019 for assaulting his baby mama, then again in 2021 for assaulting his new girlfriend. Not to mention his substance abuse issues that may or may not still be ongoing. I'm not saying Ron doesn't deserve another chance from the roomies but he really hasn't addressed his issues head-on like Mike did. To me, it's apparent watching the show, that Mike's a good guy at heart and acted like an asshole due to the drugs/alcohol. Whereas, not clear yet whether Ron's an angry abusive asshole even when sober.
  3. Metro Detroit: despite the single story vs. two story, I think their choice was really about location. Ferndale & Berkley are more desirable suburbs for young couples than Sterling Heights, where the ranch was located. They didn't mention commutes but that may have been a deciding factor as well. Sterling Heights is a bit further out. Metro Pittsburgh: not as familiar with the area but the other options seemed like better choices. The one they picked was an hour from her office and appeared to need more work. Guessing the budget and his need for a 3 car garage was what really drove that decision.
  4. After last season, I was sick to death of all things Lindsay & Carl. Now, I am so glad they're on this season and we all get to watch the demise of their engagement. Why? I think Carl needs and deserves the public awareness & support. Without it, he would've shouldered far too much of the blame. Plus, I love seeing his housemates rally around him. Ciara's comments on her upbringing with an angry drunk father seemed to hit home for him. Kyle, Jesse, West all being there as a sounding board (& witnesses) likely helped him come to the realization that he needed to call off the wedding. As a viewer since episode 1, I've never been a Lindsay fan. But even I'm shocked by her complete lack accountability for her role in this relationship. How many times has he apologized when she's the one who's started every argument? I can't imagine how she thought this would play out in her favor. The camping was so cute. More of that type of stuff and less of the big house parties with all the random people milling about. Continue to adore Ciara & West together and I was happy to see Craig back in Hamptons and the brief shot of them together in the city. As a (at times too) independent woman, I fully understand why Paige didn't want to have Craig pay a portion of her rent. I mean, just look at Carl & Lindsay's situation. He's still shilling out $6k+/month for place where he doesn't even live!
  5. There's a forum for The Valley here https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/144442-the-valley/ Maybe the posts can be combined?
  6. Brittany's tits look like they're about explode. Seriously, there's a visible protruding vein! Don't even get me started on the liposuction. I did not miss her voice How much money did she get for weight watchers? How else does Jax have the money to open a sports bar. I don't understand why Kristen wouldn't move to Colorado. The man has a house and acreage. Too soon to comment on the new people but some of them look familiar so I question the validity of the backstory on their friendships.
  7. Hmm, Scheana's puported "closeness" with Sandoval is so out of nowhere. $10 says she's imagined dumping Brock for him, dreaming about those headlines, thinking she'll finally land a spot on Dancing with the Stars! Watching Sandoval flirt was hella cringeworthy, just like all his paid for friends.
  8. Virginia: I side-eye most HHers who 50+ and upgrading to a larger, more expensive house. Why? They had one daughter at home, the other kids are grown. Why did they need a 4+ bedroom, 3000+ sq ft home? Not to mention, with her recent health issues, a smaller single story home would've been a far better option. North Carolina: I liked her and her Mom. She appreciated the quirky items most HHers want to immediately upgrade.
  9. I might be able to muster some sympathy for her were she not a gigantic asshole who never looks inward and always blames the other person. She's shown zero growth in 8 seasons. If anything, her ego is even more inflated and she's regressed. If her fiance/boyfriend/friends dare disagree with her on anything, she irrationally attacks & then plays the victim. Rinse & repeat. Heck, Danielle is so worried about saying the wrong thing that she avoids conversations entirely. I really like the way the men supported Carl and were there for him as a sounding board. I also appreciated Amanda & Gabby delicately trying to talk sense into Lindsay.
  10. 100% They're (Jenni especially) likely happy Angelina has a new target but I agree, they did nothing to defend Sam and they really should have. Maybe Ang would SFTU if was 4 against 1. She's a toxic mess and Sam was speaking facts. Mike & Lauren's son is a cutie patootie. He's got the best features from both of them. Too many events where it's just Mike and the ladies. I know Pauly & Vinny are busy but it's not as fun without them. Not looking forward to Ron's return. IMHO, he & Ang should be permanently booted. Sick of their drama.
  11. I felt bad for Carl. The hurt on his face was apparent. Lindsay is so toxic, always has been. So glad he bailed before the wedding. Gabby's about to get dumped. Lindsay doesn't tolerate her friends having their own opinion. I missed Paige! But Ciara & West are too cute for words.
  12. It's likely strategic. The person who moves out loses leverage. Most divorce attorneys will advise against it. Turned my stomach to hear Kyle claim that her marriage is no one's business. Even worse, she wasn't challenged on it. She's been outing and demanding personal details from her co-stars for 10+ years and now the tables have turned and she expects privacy? Hell no. Should've had LVP, Denise & the Vape Lady from S1 co-host the reunion.
  13. Lala telling Ariana she's wrong for expecting her best friend to avoid hanging out with the man who did her dirty is so fucking hypocritical. Remember Rand? Remember threatening Schwartz because he dared play pickleball with him? Point blank, it all stems from jealousy. Scheana & Lala are mad about the attention/fame/offers/$$ coming Ariana's way. They are literally green with envy. Katie for the win. She & Stassi clocked who he was years ago.
  14. Aired 3.11.2024 Wow, Fraser really has it out for Barbie. Not sure why her asking for direction on cutlery caused him to be so angry, complaining to the Chef about her. Nothing in her tone or comment was disrespectful or insubordinate. He really seems to personally dislike her and it's not clear why. The favoritism of Cat is bordering on completely unfair. She gets to frolic in the ocean while Barbie works her ass off? I'd be a bit resentful too. Now Fraser did read Jared right. Dude's a ticking time bomb.
  15. From watching wrestling in the 80s I know it can be a perspective thing but it sure looked to me like there wasn't much going on down there. Plenty of room for a mike pack :)
  16. Last season Lindsey worked hard to garner support from Gabby & Sam 1) because she was feuding with Danielle, and 2) to counter the allegation that she was always rude to newcomers (which she was). It worked and gave her some allies for the reunion. Fast forward to this season and you see her true colors with how she treated West when he was nicely trying to accommodate her room request. Gabby likely thinks that aligning herself with OG Lindsey is a good move but I predict she'll be tossed curbside now that Danielle/Lindsey are "friends" again. Also interested that she shuttered her PR agency and is trying to go the influencer route. Carl's always had a spotty work history. The bravo money must be more than I thought it was. $13k/month rent is pretty steep.
  17. I can see Luann dabbling but wasn't she on probation for the Leah seasons? Her probation included drug/alcohol testing. I remember because at some point she failed an alcohol test & they extended it. Now Dorinda screams frequent cocaine user to me. Everything from her fluctuating weight to her manic moods & overall demeanor.
  18. Paige knew exactly what Lindsey was trying to do by outing Danielle on the story selling. And I knew that Lindsey wasn't capable of forgiving Danielle without some penance/payback. Surprised she's not outing all of Carl's secrets. So glad he manned up and called off the wedding. They were the very definition of toxic. Speaking of, she's living the apartment that he's paying half for and she wanted to keep the engagement ring buy NY law mandated it be returned. No wonder he went back to Loverboy, he needed the money. On the other hand, how cute are Ciara and West? What the hell did Gabby wear to dinner?
  19. Scheana is absolutely insufferable. She makes EVERYTHING about her. Her tears are a cry for camera time. I was shocked how Brock spoke the truth until he remembered (or was reminded by his wife) that sticking close to Sandoval keeps them front & center in the season storyline. Watching him then turn around & apologize to Tom was cringey. They're both such obvious grifters. Like Stassi& Katie before her, Tom hates Lala because she's immune to his charm/BS and therefore a bitch. It was hilariously hypocritical of him to call her out for hiding things when he was deep in a 6+ month affair. Hippy seems so calm & happy in the midst of what was likely a chaotic house with cameramen/producers/etc. Sorry, but I don't see an anxious dog prone to biting. Rachel can kick rocks with her rationale for abandoning him.
  20. Love Lindsey showing her true colors in ep1. She can't stand not being the center of attention and was so jealousy that the house vibe was light & fun without her. Beng rude to West, storming out of the club calling her fiance Cocaine Carl just because he didn't take her side in a argument. She's so toxic. Loved Amanda taking notes because she was drunk & wanted to remember what happened.
  21. Scheana pinching a tiny amount of skin on her stomach and declaring she needed a one piece bathing suit was just sad. ...so was Brock's acting. Graham/Hippy seems like such a chill pup. He doesn't scream anxious biter to me. He also appeared to be cat inquisitive, bowing to play, vs, cat aggressive which is good. I do hope that James follows through with structured training.
  22. AA can frown upon it but AA doesn't work for everyone and their holier-than-thou attitude likely dissuades many who would benefit from trading alcohol for THC. James is an aggressively mean drunk. For him, eliminating alcohol and leaning on THC makes him a better friend/partner/DJ. If California sober helps him continue to refrain from alcohol and be better version of himself for the people around him that's success IMHO. It's no different than relying a prescription mood enhancer/stabilizer like lexapro/zoloft/etc. likely less side effects even.
  23. (very) late to the party but just finished S1 on Netflix. I knew of Jamie Dornan but definitely a fan after watching, Danielle McDonald as well. They were both amazing and made me forget how haphazard the writing was at times. Excited to hear S2 is already airing in the UK. I'd watch Elliot and Helen anywhere.
  24. Peter's issue is that his game play has created division in the castle and that division only benefits the traitors. He purposely excludes a large group of people from his "most faithful" alliance and then gets angry when they're hesitant to vote with him. His decision to isolate from the larger group & continually have secret invitation only meetings, shutting doors in peoples faces, obviously didn't engender trust from the remaining faithful. So now, when he needs them to vote with him at the roundtable, of course they're suspicious of his motives. Exactly the type of suspicion the traitors need to potentially avoid being banished. The sad thing is that he did it to himself.
