As a TAR purist, I hated both the Drivers Seat & the public voting on the Double U-turn. I've watched this show for 37 seasons over 20+ years for the RACE & travel porn. None of them are in the 20s. Salley is the youngest at 30. 100% agree. Why would an 80 year old woman even want to live in a 2000+ sq ft house? My guess is that she's really living in some type of senior housing near her daughters. She cashed out on her California house & in order to avoid paying capital gains, they invested the money in the lake house that her real estate daughter could flip, using the show to grow her business.

Not sure if it's editing but it seems like Tzarina's meals are much simpler than the other BD chefs. She rarely offers a starter/app or even a salad. Just a main & dessert. I'd be disappointed if I were a guest. Wihan appears to want to blame Lara for everything. Tzarina came to him directly with issues & he blamed Lara. The Captain gently provided feedback & he blamed Lara. Lara tried explaining how his lack of leadership was impacting things & he was utterly patronizing, telling her to focus on beds when his team deals with cranes. Captain really should've stayed for that discussion, it's obvious Wihan has never been a bosun nor does he give a shit about the guests. He's just there to be on TV & troll for chicks. The only fault I find with Lara is how she's managing Bri & Marina. She purposely choose to keep them equally ranked so they should each get equal time on service & in housekeeping. If she now feels that Bri is stronger, then assign ranks. Continually keeping Marina on housekeeping (typical 3rd stew role) without any discussion on why is only fostering resentment. Onloading provisions, managing excursions, setting up dinner on the deck and yes, even washing dishes are all part of the deck crew job description. They're not just there to dock & clean the boat. Lara has every right to complain to & about Wihan. He's not pulling his weight and it's affecting guest satisfaction/their tip money.

Beatrice is confident, maybe even a bit cocky. That's not at all surprising at her age. What's endearing is that she's open to advice & criticism so she's not arrogant. If she were a man, most wouldn't bat an eye but because she's a woman, some people find the confidence irksome... It's the double standard annoys me. So I find myself rooting for her, especially after her sing along to Eminem.

On the Bahamas boat trip, Austen jokingly asked to see Salley's tits. Salley mentioned it later. Taylor somehow took that to mean that Salley wanted Austen & texted to warn him Salley was trying to break up his relationship. Austen said he laughed it off, knowing the warning stemmed from Taylor's dislike of Salley. So Salley confronted Taylor asking why after squashing their beef she was still coming for her. Taylor claimed she was just protecting her friend Austen instead of owning up to being a petty pick-me bitch.

Craig recognizing his problem drinking & adjusting has been a gradual process. When this was filmed (Spring 2024) he'd stopped drinking hard liquor & hanging out in bars. When Summer House was filmed (Summer 2024) he'd cut back further (declining a drink & choosing root beer instead on the last episode) December 2024 is when he came out publicly about the issue & where is on his journey. I know he's credited Paige for much of the reason he wanted to change but pleased to see he's continuing the journey despite the breakup. On social media, he's been all about the gym, his business (appearing at nearly every home show across the country) & a positive mental outlook.
