  1. Paris: story was that the wife recently finished her doctoral studies at Vanderbilt (logo flashed) in something science-y, couldn't find a job in Nashville and was recruited by a renowned research organization based in Paris. Hence the move. Guessing they'd been in a short term rental and were now moving into a place long term.
  2. I like FLW and have been to both Taliesin and Taliesin West but 30 minutes in and they'd not yet stepped foot into the kitchen. It's like they lost of the plot. I watch Top Chef for the food porn and it's challenging enough that we can't taste anything. To then throw a contrived challenge (come to Wisconsin!) which inevitably ends up being more about the stupid interpretation/visual than the actual food is disappointing. The fact that Kristin came in after the judging to remind the remaining contestants (and herself) that they should be focused on the food tells you everything. Oh, and adding my most hated contestant EVER to the mix was just icing the cake for me...
  3. While I agree Kristen didn't just make up the comments about Michelle, she was the one who blurted it out to deflect the attention from her. She also guilty of editorializing the comments (Michelle is racist) which only amplified the issue. Zack and Janet should have both acknowledged the role they played in that game of telephone but it was Kristen's fault it was brought up in the first place. For her to turn around and play victim was just typical Kristen. I can't put my finger on it, but something seems off with Luke. I worry about his temper, he seems a little volatile. Isn't speech regression potentially an early sign of autism? I'm glad they have Cruz in speech therapy.
  4. Schwartz has always been a dick, he just pretends to be a good guy & it fools a lot of people. This was the point in the season where they realized it was hella boring & tried throwing a bunch of different storylines in: Katie & Tom's "interest" in Tori, Lala buying sperm/hanging out with Jo, the singles event, paintball, etc. They own the house together, why should Ariana be the one to move out? Any attorney worth their salt will advise against it. Scheana & Lala are just jealous assholes.
  5. I don't think Fraser knows what insubordination means. Nothing we've seen from Barbie meets the definition. Quite the opposite, he's coming across as a micromanaging bully. She's doing her job and he's complaining that she's not smiling enough for him. His actions at the beach club alone were the very definition of unprofessional. I'm.glad Paris was quick to see both sides. Hoping Captain Kerry gives him a serious smackdown. You just got a new stew & you want to fire one? Barbie works her ass off. She's the only one who does tablescapes, the only one but him on service. He really needs to put his ego aside & act like leader. When Ben, who's banging one of his deckhands, has to give you leadership advice, you know it's bad.
  6. I'm having a hard time keeping track of the real friendships. I "think" Jasmine's real friend is Moriah (the dog hater who pushed Bria) No one else seemed to know her. Phil (the angry pooper) is friends with Shanice & Bria, and Moriah, but no one else seemed to know him. Having them come back to the house screams of producer intervention. I mean, how else would they have timestamped receipt for Moriah's flight? I wish this group was based in NY vs scattered, I'd love if they were filmed over the Summer instead of just a 2 week period. Curious on their weekday lives as well.
  7. Was Gabby fired mid-season? She just disappeared and no one's even mentioned her absence.
  8. While it was good to see Carl/Lindsay make it through a weekend without fighting, I agree with Paige that they don't seem to like each other much and are often happier when not together. Never a good sign. Flower Boy? Seriously. They were going to have three Flower Boys in their wedding? How Kyle managed to keep a straight face in that discussion, I'll never know. Amanda was on WWHL and she looks healthier, fuller in the face. I'm glad she seemingly figured out the hormonal issues that was causing noticeable weight loss last Summer. She looked good and I wouldn't be surprised to hear they're expecting. Kyle was in the audience and they seem to be in a much better place now. She admitted that they were (obviously) working through some issues and she was irrationally angry with him when the season was filmed. If they're looking at $1.4M investment property, I'm guessing Loverboy is doing quite well. Jesse Solomon " show me your nip" "I want to see your titty" Such a fuckboi. At least he owns it.
  9. Ariana likely has one of those cat litter robots that only require weekly disposal. Similar to diaper genies, they're vacuum sealed.
  10. I hate Brock. Dude needs to STFU. Ariana has every right to be pissed. Lala's a fucking hypocrit. Let's see her hang at the beach with Rand. She & Scheana are teeming with jealous rage. Just because Ariana isnt on the couch crying, it doesnt mean shes not still hurting. If they didnt have scandoval, what the hell would they talk about on the show, on their podcasts, to the paps? Sparking water?? 😂
  11. Like Scheana's newly found OCD and her apparent distress over her friendship with Sandoval, it's a storyline and she DESPERATELY wants to be the center of all the drama... “I really didn’t and as much as she hated me at the time, I never wanted to say like, 'Your man has made out with a, b and c, also d,'” she said, indicating to herself.
  12. Jill was A LOT. I really want to understand why Fraser dislikes Barbie so much. From what we've seen, she works hard and is great with guests. She might be a little mouthy but nowhere near insubordinate. Yet he's trying to fire her again next week? Disappointed in his leadership. You're not going to like everyone but you need to utilize their skills effectively. Leaving Barbie alone on the boat to manage cabins, laundry and dinner setup was also a dick move. They did not need two stews at the beach.
  13. Ariana's the recipient of so many offers: DWTS, Broadway, all the commercials, now Love Island. She recently bought a $1.6M home. Lala & Scheana, both incredibly jealous of the offers Ariana is receiving also recently purchased new homes, Scheana $2.5M and Lala $3.1M. That's on top of the homes they both have in Palm Springs. Trying to understand how can they afford nearly double the house Ariana can... Scheana's an OG, so I get that her PumpRules pay is likely higher than the other two but seriously, are they making that much bank on the stupid podcasts?
  14. Scheana's own words. She's all over the place talking about it. Just google. However, Scheana justified her decision to keep the kiss secret because she “never wanted to hurt Katie.” “I really didn’t and as much as she hated me at the time, I never wanted to say like, 'Your man has made out with a, b and c, also d,'” she said, indicating to herself. “I just never wanted to throw that in her face. I never wanted her to feel some sort of way around me because I knew she already had feelings about my past.” After her shared kiss with Schwartz went down, she “buried it,” because if it ever saw the light of day, she might once again be labeled as a cheater. “I was, like, traumatized by it, because despite what the world may think, this home-wrecking whore version of me, I am not a cheater. I don’t cheat on people,” Scheana stressed. She'd better keep her eye on Brock...
  15. Finally catching up on S1. Pet peeve, people who sleep on beds without sheets. Silas & Jasmine, that's a mattress protector, not an actual sheet. And why are they acting like King/Queen of the house? Because they're married or are they supposedly the glue in this friend group? If so, I don't see it. The men barely seem to know or like him & the ladies seem quite surprised/unfamiliar with current Jasmine. I like Preston, Amir, Jason, Jordan, Brie, Shanice & Summer so far. Trying to get Nick & Alex straight, its not helpingn that they both seem to hiding things.
  16. That was the ending I feared would happen. Gutted for Mollie but IMHO the clues were there she just ignored them. I really don't like that they let the Traitors continue to recruit. It would level the playing field a bit if they set a max of either 2 or 3 traitors. If they get caught early, so be it.
  17. They operate a franchise model. Successful brokerage/real estate offices are converted i.e franchised under The Agency (vs. Century 21/Coldwell Banker/ReMax/Sotheby's etc.) The various offices arent owned by The Agency. The franchised offices pay licensing fees and must abide by The Agency's operating guidelines. Not much different than franchise models in other industries. Mauricio makes his money from the licensing fees & maybe a % of each offices commissions/EBIT. You can likey find a copy of their franchise agreement if you look hard enough. It's also not uncommon for brokerages/real estate offices to change brands. The realtor offices used to buy my current home from was affiliated with ReMax, now they're Berkshire Hathaway. Same office location, likely many of the same agents just a different sign. More info on Mo's business model: https://labusinessjournal.com/featured/real-estate-18/
  18. They poach the top producers from established local agencies.
  19. This is laughable. Schwartz now "grabs" Scheana and she says nothing about it for 10+ years? No, that was story she tried to spin to her husband when it was finally revealed. What really happened is that Scheana & Schwartz drunkenly made out in Vegas while he was dating Katie and she was engaged to Shay. Scheana lied telling Katie telling her Tom kissed someone else (to hurt Katie) and they managed to keep it a secret until he thought it was funny to share (again, to hurt Katie), yet that somehow makes Katie the bad guy? Schwartz is a man baby, Scheana's a pick me girl. They're the real assholes.
  20. I don't see her stringing him along at all. Paige is committed and happy. They're talking marriage. She just doesn't want to be financially beholden to him (or any man), which I get. Further, were the gender reversed, this wouldn't even be a discussion point. It's crazy to me to me that because Paige (as the desperate over 30 woman) isn't the one begging Craig (the reluctant bachelor) to propose that it means she doesn't love him or isn't committed to their future. Shocked by the empathy & grace Paige & Amanda showed Lindsey. She doesn't deserve it but it was nice to see. Same again with the guys supporting Carl. I'm shocked at how close they actually came to getting married when they're so broken as a couple. Lindsey never truly questioned Carl's sobriety, she just resented his calling out her drinking. Yeah, that's healthy communication. Did she learn that from her therapist?. Finally, Craig looked so HOT in that mechanics uniform.
  21. Interestingly, new deckhand Dylan showed up on Vanderpump Rules last night. Does Bravo maintain a stable of attractive newbies to insert as needed?
  22. THANK YOU! I saw the same and meant to see if it was indeed him...and confirmed.
  23. 100% They agreed not to date amongst the friend group. Schwartz is the one who broke that agreement and now he knows what it feels like. Oh, and Brock, hooking up with your EX-husband's friend AFTER the divorce is not the same as making out with your friend's CURRENT boyfriend. Nice try through, your wife is the very definition of a pick me girl. In fact, you'd better keep an eye on her around Sandoval... Ooh, but here comes Lala cozying up to him! It's embarrassing watching them grovel to him for attention and a storyline. Do we know for sure that he's not the sperm donor?
  24. Was Ben actually careless or was is a producer issue for requiring a beach picnic in an area with low tide and windy conditions? I like how Captain pitches in as they're short handed. The new deckhand Derrick gives off a very strange vibe. I won't go as far as saying serial killer vibe but watching him on TV makes me a little uneasy. Sunny should just talk to Xandi directly. Then again, we'd miss out on the drunken drama. I'm surprised the Chef doesn't have one of stews/deckhands helping in the kitchen. Even on some of the smaller boats used in earlier seasons, Ben (and others) would get an assist from the crew. That's a large galley for one chef and while I understand the messiness bothers Fraser, at least it's away from the guests and the stew pantry.
