The end felt very performative & I suspect production had a heavy hand. It felt as if they were required some type of kumbuya moment before they were allowed to leave. Jenna shared on WWHL a few weeks back that none of them have spoken to Brynn since the reunion (even before she doubled down on her behavior in that Rolling Stone article). That tells me that all the forgiveness & hugs were for the cameras. Maybe they were worried about Brynn's mental state? I do hope that neither Brynn or Ubah return, neither are entertaining to watch.

S14.E10: Sweet Home Augusta
snarts replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
They'll be fighting over who pays the debt. At least Dorit has a job. What does PK do? Kyle's arms/hands age her not sure why she seems to live in tank tops. At least she ditched the stupid armbands. Mau is over her. Yes, he cares about her but he's no longer in love. I actually like Boz buy some of those hair pieces are hard look at, especially the rosette.- 262 replies

^This. I wish I was excited to watch the new season but I was so disappointed with S2. At this point, I want to know how they wrap up the story but not sure I actually want to watch it unfold over multiple seasons. Will likely follow along in the forum & binge S3 if the comments are good.

Does Tzarina not know what a sous chef does? He should be assisting with the meal prep, not just tasked with cleaning. A deckhand can clean pots & pans. Let him manage breakfast if a few eggs stress you out that much. What a poorly planned boat layout. They should have a dumbwaiter if the food has to go up three flights of stairs. I feel bad for the interior, it feels like they're purposely understaffed. I do like Captain Jason and am excited to see the Seychelles.

The first season of All-Stars was light & fun, with many of the real OGs returning after years away. I remember laughing so hard during the first challenge, something to do with math + swimming. Most were out of shape but it was light & fun. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly but I recall it was filmed in 3 weeks. I remember reading somewhere when they released the cast for season two and people were disappointed that it was hard to get folks to commit due to the filming schedule. Most of the older OGs are entrenched with families, kids, school, work etc. So All-Stars has become just another Challenge variation. The casts are no different, it's the same damn people every time and all the nostalgia from Mark's original vision is gone.

You're right, Dylan teetered on voting for Rob until Britney empathically shook her head, telling him no, mouthing across the table to vote for Wes. I think Dylan knows Rob's a Traitor but it smart enough to know that staying loyal keeps him safe. He thought they had the numbers until Britney said no. Gabby's the one who didn't vote with the group.

Didn't Dylan vote for Rob this last roundtable? Plus, he has a shield & Rob was in his group so he's know that. Carolyn grabbed the shield from the group she was in with Danielle. Chrishell also has a shield but didn't announce it & there were no traitors in that group so Dolores, Derrick, Britney & Sam may have a bit of protection from being murdered if no one squeals. That leaves only Sandoval, Gabby, Ivar, Ciara available for murder unless the Traitors take a chance on it being blocked by a shield. I wish they'd murder (not Tara Lipinski) Gabby, I keep thinking she & Britney are the same person.

Since the beginning, Brynn's career claims have been a lot of smoke & mirrors. I'm surprised she hasn't been called out on it sooner. Her claims: In her summary, Whitfield says she has a “wealth of experience” working on award-winning PR and marketing campaigns for brands including Shell Oil, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, and Assembly, which is described as a “$1.7 billion e-commerce scale-up and tech unicorn.” Some of her career highlights include helping to put together a Dove campaign that won a Cannes Gold Lion award, leading the Zicam PR Team to win a Telly Award for Best Branded Content, and “working on the BP Deepwater Horizon Gulf Oil Spill.” https://www.bustle.com/entertainment/brynn-whitfield-job-history-rhony Yet her employment history of her Linkedin profile (which includes the above claims in the about section) does not reflect a seasoned consultant. Note, for those not in the corporate world, Linkedin is your resume. https://www.linkedin.com/in/brynnwhitfield/ She also lists attending George Washington University Graduate School in 2007 when she didn't finish undergrad at Purdue until 2008. Maybe she did actually work on all the PR campaigns she's claiming, but it would've been at an assistant/account manager level 10+ years ago. People want to know what she's doing now (aside from the show) to support herself. Just this season, she claimed to be leading a team building an app, traveling between NY & London. Where is that on her employment history? And frankly, no one would really care if she didn't continually denigrate the careers of her castmates.

The Challenge in the Media: "The road to [fame] is straight and narrow."
snarts replied to Stinger97's topic in The Challenge
Not cool @DEL901. People watch streaming shows at different times, they shouldn't have to worry about seeing results posted in a another show's forum. -
Wes is such a tool. He practically voted himself off by threatening everyone. Not to mention, he's nowhere near the winningest winner of all time. He's not even in the top 3 for Real World/Road Rules Challengers, let alone the big dollar winners from Survivor/Big Brother. Man, is Sandoval dumber than a box of rocks. Does he have a severe head cold? I don't remember him being such a mouth breather.

I see it more about lifestyle, drinking & partying. Not only does Craig have less free time, he also cut way back on drinking while Shep & Austen still want him to be their wingman who'd spend all day/night at the bars with them chasing women.
-
Craig co-owns Sewing Down South, which has two physical stores, huge online presence & distribution deals with companies like Kroger/Ralphs/HomeGoods, etc. He's focused on the marketing side which means he's on the road a ton as the face of the company. He's also co-owner of a new bar in Charleston (with Austen), a restaurant in NYC (also with Austen), and an investor in Spritz Society, an alcohol brand. Might be more. He seems genuinely busy which is why I find the guys attitude about him not having time for them so ridiculous. From Google:
-
Airs 1.30.2025 Argghhh, again with the "Craig's a bad friend because he won't go out drinking all day with us" anymore. He's not forcing anyone to be sober, he's just choosing for himself to drink less & stend his time elsewhere. Plus, Shep claiming Craig doesn't listen/ can't see anyone else's perspective? That's so rich coming from the guy who ridicules literally anyone who doesn't agree with him. This whole JT/Venita thing seems fake. Speaking of...here they go again with pretending Whitney's some babe magnet. He's like Harvey Weinstein of Southern Charm, pretending you fancy him/faking a storyline about it appears to be the price of entry for women on this show.

I don't understand the pacing this season. It's like they pushed them too hard early & lost a bunch due to avoidable injuries. Now they're pushing again seemingly to thin the herd before the finale. I question the Christy cut. Yes, she was the slowest to reach the peak but she didn't quit & she was right there. Also, little need for that punishment thing (I forget what they called it) after a full day of challenges. So sad to see Carey get hurt & missing finishing. I guess I don't like when the rules seem quite arbitrary. If they want to cut someone for not trying hard enough (or being an asshole) Cam's right there. I remember an orthopedic neurosurgeon friend telling me that many of the herniated discs he see from people 40+ stem from bungie jumping in their teens/20s. So I couldn't help but cringe at the falls/jumps they've had to do on an un-elastic rope. Just imagine the force on their vertebrae. Most of them are not spring chickens either.
-
I desperately want to believe her...however, that's the problem with repeated liars, it's hard to know when they're telling the truth. Erin wasn't shaming Brynn, she was (rightfully) sharing how important reporting it could be to help save another woman from the same experience. I thought they all showed a lot of grace for her in that moment, including Andy.

House Hunters International - General Discussion
snarts replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in House Hunters International
Christchurch, New Zealand: young newly married couple from Omaha, NE. Grew up traveling in a singing/dancing group & wanted to move abroad. Chose Christchurch sight unseen. He landed a job but she was still looking or waiting for visa approval. She wants to be close to the beach & they want to get a dog. Initially were going to rent, budget $1400. First choice is a tiny place for $1600 with no backyard for the dog & far from the beach. Then decided to buy with $475K budget. Option two is a smallish ranch $20k under budget 10 minutes from the beach. Option three is a larger newer build for $485k that's within walking distance. They chose #3. She got a job at an accounting firm. They got a dog & shared that they were expecting (which was obvious if you watched the episode, the long coat wasn't fooling anyone). -
20 minutes in, completely Team Sai. She's clear & direct when others are a bit wishy washy. Plus, bonus points for coming right out & asking Brynn about her "career".

Brynn & Ubah are both terrible just for different reasons. I'd love it if we lost both. Brynn continues to claim that she told Ubah (around bravocon, Nov 2023) but she tells her brother (while filming S15, Mar-Jun 2024) that he's the only one she's told. Thats the problem with liars, they can't keep their stories straight. https://www.instagram.com/p/DFLEI4exy3w/?igsh=cDVsZGM4d3E3ZmNh

100% She's completely vapid & incredibly dull. On WWHL, she was asked why she'd be considered a good catch & she said "well, look at me" 🤮
-
Laziest, whiniest stews ever. They should be thanking their lucky stars that Daisy was their Chief Stew. If anything she was too nice & they took advantage. I hope they realize now how ridiculous they look & have missed out on jobs as a result. From WWHL learned that Danni & Chase did date after the season. Aesha shared that she heard their relationship got extremely toxic & that they stiffed a repairman who was working on Chase's sailboat, taking off without paying him. Daisy & Keith also dated for a year after filming, ending things recently due to the distance. She also mentioned that, while she's not completely done with yachting, she no longer doing the Caribbean season, focused exclusively on the Med since she's based in London. I could see her returning to Sailing Yacht (if there's another season) with a new first mate/bosun. Maybe Keith? Glenn seemed quite enamored of him.

Season finale, airs 1.27.2025

The ones playing smart are those observing & clocking behavior but not shouting out names & accusations: Sam, Dolores, Sandoval, Gabby, Dylan (after his early roundtable misstep). Ciara was trying to play that way before she was targeted. Wes will try to do too much. I'm not familiar with Derrick but he seemed so petulant & pouty at the riddle challenge. Why would he expect anyone to just give him a shield?

S14.E8: A Perfect Storm Out
snarts replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It's likely that not seeing an issue with Kyle's text to PK means you've never gone through a divorce where the person you loved the most is now suddenly acting like your sworn enemy. Anyone who's been in or close to a situation like that would better understand how hurtful it would be to have a friend (or family member) not only side with your ex, but happily encourage them to confide in you about them. Kyle is stupid but in this case she's just playing dumb. She's mad at Dorit & using this situation to punish her. -
That was a tough watch because (like many of you) the end of life scenario hit close to home & brought back a lot of memories. I'd never heard of ho’oponopono but I like it & am glad I instinctively said similar things to my Dad. Curious where they're going with the Mom & daughter who overslept. I got the sense they crossed state lines for the abortion but why would they go to an ER vs. a clinic? and what did the Dr see on the ultrasound?
