Love me some Baps as well--she reminds me of a lot of G.R.I.T.S down here (Girls Raised In The South) She was so torn up over Whitney getting the cat and honestly I thought Whit was a little selfish for taking the cat away. I understand it was hers to begin with but come on you already have one cat and if you see your mom's heart breaking over loosing another then why not let kitty stay with her?

Being from the south I do know that nicknames like Boo Bear & Baps is common place down here. It is a sign of affection but not romantic love. HOWEVER she has stated many times that her & Buddy (I wonder if that's his real name) have had a past so that fact along with the nicknames, etc. would make me a bit nervous. I wonder if they will show a female companion for Buddy & how Whitney would feel about that because so far he seems to be single with zero love interests.

From a woman's POV if I was interested in Buddy and perhaps began seeing him I would be jealous about a female roommate calling him boo bear. It just seems to be an affectionate nickname so that added to the fact that they are living together, no I don't think I could deal. Yeah I guess I like Whitney's new beau. I'm not a fan of the ZZ Top type facial hair but she obviously is so good for her I guess. The cynical side of me does have to side eye the idea that is he really interested in her or the fact that dating her means he gets to be on a reality tv show (and promote his art).

Enh I didn't mind the drama over the 5K that much. It was probably hyped up for T.V. but if it encourages someone at home to give it a try then wail on sister, wail on! Plus we don't know how hilly that route was or what the circumstances are leading into that. As a runner/walker myself I can speak from experience on entering a race with the intentions of simply walking at your own pace BUT when you see everyone else around you running and you are swept up in the excitement of the race you do have a tendency to go a little faster than you normally would. *shrug* So it might have put a little extra strain on her body *shrug* As far as dressing up like a penguin. Cute fun. I've been in these types of races where you are encourage (but not required) to dress up some sort of way. Fun for the cameras and yay to her dad for doing it with her. That's what I was wondering as well. Plus how much did they pay for that couch? $3K?? Ouch. And all that other furniture? FYI--I agree with Buddy the carousel horse was kinda meh to me. But yeah that's a pretty nice looking house and $1200 is low where I live as well for monthly rent. It looks like it's in a good neighborhood. But yeah the show must be forking out some money for this because there is no way they could afford all that on a dancer's salary and whatever it is that Buddy does.

ITA! Being 200-300 lbs overweight can't simply be she eats too much. Well why do you eat too much? Most over weight people use food as a comfort and being diagnosed with a disease like PCOS can be very scary and the fear may trigger her to over eat and eat junky food. So in her mind, in a lot of people's mind, the disease is what caused the weight gain simply because they gained the weight around the time they were diagnosed. *shrug*

Her new bf kinda looks like the bearded gentleman we saw in S1--the guy she went to college with that was from CA. But the article says he hasn't been on the show yet so I guess not. Enh I'm not a fan of the ZZ Top beard personally but they look happy together so good for them I guess. I like Buddy but yeah this will they or wont they is getting old fast. I hated that from S1 and it looks like they are going with that story line again...ugh =( WORD! Her weight defines her and her life is centered around that. If we take that away we would have your garden variety 30-something chick--BORING. She has the dance but again that is all about loosing weight. Enh if you say so, I don't really see it *shrug*

Can we talk about this no coffee thing; no coffee at all? Really? Or is it no coffee with sugar and high fat creamers? I drink between 2-4 cups in the morning but I try to limit myself to only 1 Truvia per cup and a small amount of a fat free creamer. But maybe Whitney drinks coffee all through out the day...*shrug* I did like her nutritionist not cutting out any food group completely. These no carb diets are stupid. I kinda feel bad for her--the idea of loosing 200+ lbs is very overwhelming. I would say take baby steps--cut out sweet tea and sodas first. Make small goals for yourself. Yeah I dated a guy like this once. He would say I don't each much or only eat once a day when what was happening he was only eating one meal a day but snacking on junk food thru out the day. A small bag of chips here, a bite of this or that, it can add up quickly but in his mind it wasn't actually eating--it was only the sit down meal he would think about when trying to figure out his diet.

I'm just getting sick of Tanner's high and mighty attitude towards other couples on the show. While I agree Kirk could have handled things better but for tanner to be all judge judgey is just wrong. Dude it's not your relationship or problem. What can't you be the boring sweet couple like Lacey and Marcus from last season?

That is an AWSOME idea! Some sort of simply but entertaining challenge. It doesn't have to be elaborate like Survivor but something simple like a Big Brother challenge.

Someone had mentioned that a good idea for this show would be when someone new comes in with a date card that there be a name on it already and they would have to go on the date with them. This pairing up so quickly and no one past week 2 or 3 really makes a connection is sad. The idea of forceful dating is odd, I admit, but these people that pair up so early, Tanner/Jade, should go on other dates just to see what another person is like. WORD! It also gets me wondering if Ashley I. really is a virgin at all. IDK, just a gut feeling but as everyone has mentioned above her approach to sex is so odd to me; something just doesn't feel right about the situation. She did say she is the "pickiest princess ever" so yeah it is possible and being a cock tease isn't out of the question either. Because I like men with facial hair I find Dan attractive & my gaydar isn't going off with him BUT he does seem oddly cold around the women here. Well maybe cold is too harsh, cool perhaps. He seems to be an only half in kinda guy and doesn't really commit to anything but that could just be because he isn't interested in any of the girls here. Yeah since he's been here since the beginning he's had a lot to choose from but maybe he's just really pick...*shrug*

Oh wow, I didn't know that...it's amazing how a person can be portrayed in such a good light on tv (as I believe Josh has been on both shows) and then turn out to be a douche in real life. So is the finale Monday the 7th or the following Monday the 14th? I thought it was on the 14th but according to the RS spoilers there are only two rose ceremonies left, the big one where a lot of people leave and then the Fantasy Suite dates and another rose ceremony to see which couples stay together after the show.

IKR? And since we know that Jade & Tanner stay together I am kinda looking forward to the Cary & Kirk demise. (as mean as that sounds) So I was reading RS blog and he hinted that the Tenley and Joshua break up was Tenley's doing. And that Tenley never had any intention of staying with Josh, she was just hooking up with him for the sake of the show. Well that bish--I like Josh and he seems to be really into Tenley so when I heard about their breakup I was really surprised. RS also hinted that Josh was simply out of Tenley's league...idk I could be reading too much into what he's saying but I tend to believe RS over anyone else....

I think she tried to do that a few episodes ago when she had her talk with Samantha but who knows for sure; events seem to be aired out of sequence....meaning someone can say something and it appears they are saying it that night but actually it was said days ago. *shrug* Speaking of Samantha, I liked what Nick said about her simply wanting to get more Twitter followers (or something like that) Nick seems like he is too smart for this show BUT I guess I like this season but I kinda agree with Claire there is more backstabbing on this season than last. I don't really remember it being nearly this bad last year. I can see why people wanna leave "paradise"--people just seem to be more vile and meaner this time around.

The winners of RPDR read mean comments. Chad, Bianca, Bebe, and Sharon were the funniest IMO. And I still want to put my fist thru something every time Tyra appears--not funny and lookin' busted!

Then why don't any of the other guys have it? Man you aren't kidding that sunburn was severe! I agree with previous posters, Justin just seems so unattractive to me. Between the sunburns, the 90's hair, and his bizarrely over plump lips--blarf. IKR?! Both he and Jade seems to be a bit judgmental IMO. I just get the feeling that because they are the most solid relationship on the island they feel the have the authority to say what's right & wrong for everyone else. Just shut up and go back to being boring please.

I like Nick V. as well and I would have enjoyed seeing him as TB but since that isn't possible maybe get him on next years BIP?!

IKR?! Good lawd woman, she couldn't have hit on him any harder if she had a hammer! My husband was watching this show with me and when he saw Michelle the first thing that came out of his mouth was Amazon! It's not that she is simply tall--she just a larger woman. Not fat just....big boned I guess *shrug* But yeah she creeped me out as well and still not liking blonde chick either. The weird thing is IMO the best thing about this show is Chris Harrison. He makes a good host and asks good questions, it's when the "celebrity" (and I use that word loosely) start butting in with their opinions that things start to fall apart. I say drop the celebrity fans all together and just have Chris and the people who are actually on the show come on and talk.

He is very extreme--a very black or white kinda guy. I've meet men like him before and it's best to just stay very, very far away from them. They usually have a very bad and quick temper. They come across as very charming & sweet at first and then turn on a dime. YIKES =( I've been thinking about this Mikey & Juelia thing and I believe these people get paid to be on this show...x amount of dollars per day I would say so the ideal thing to do would be to stay as long as you can to simply collect as much money as you can. If Juelia and Mikey have some sort of deal worked out where that is the case then more power to them! As long as both parties are aware of what's going on then totes just ride it out til the end. I like both Mikey & Juelia and there little conversation at the end of the episode about Mikey being "such a girl" was funny to watch. Hooray to them

I hesitate to say I'm happy to see Ben H. as the next Bachelor. I liked him on Katlyn's season but I liked Juan Pablo before he became TB too and we see what happened there. I'll still be watching though.

IKR?! What in the hell is the problem here? I thought Mikey T's boob sweat was gross but this guy was drenched in sweat. And holy crap did you see the previews for next week--this guy has the worst sunburn in history! He is sooo friggin beet red. Ugh so unattractive =( WORD! Watching them kiss is just weird. And then an overnight date? Whaaa? Really overnight? And I can't get over Mikey's well "I'm a man" comment jeez my head is just spinning with the stupidity on this show.
