I enjoyed Untucked as well. ChiChi serves up some tasty T! I am really surprised by how much I like her and Naomi. The type of queen Naomi is makes me think she would have been really successful on S7. I'm glad she's here though, I fear if she was surrounded by such vamped stupidity last year it might have rubbed off on her. Not sure why but I'm just not crazy about Derrick or Robbie. IDK, I don't hate them but I'm so indefferent to them.

I don't wanna spend too much time on S7 but I will admit it had its moments of glory. Katya and Max where everything IMO and they made the season for me. Everything else though, I do mean everything and everyone, was just so meh for me. Wow good point. But I can't be too mad about it because I do love me some B.O.B and he hadn't been in the top 3 yet so to see this win was nice. I wasn't in love with this runway look. I was confused by it--robot rollerskating?? Is that what was going on there? Mine too! My obsession is slowly starting to build with this sweetie. Also I gotta give props to Naomi. Normally this is a queen I wouldn't like but IDK she seems to show a mature and underlying kindness that I find endearing. I LOVE it when a contestant surprises me and completely turns my opinion around about them and she has done that. UNTUCKED: Trixie was NOT my fav. queen from S7 but I think Betty was waaay to harsh on her. Yeah her makeup was jacked but it was suppose to be. It's not like she doesn't know how to beat her mug it's just part of her character. Not cool Betty to be so nasty while Kim Chi was getting love from Trixie. Just rude, not funny just mean.

I'm glad people are pointing this out. Honestly it should have been Derrick and Cynthia in the bottom. The thing is I like Robbie (like not love) so I can't be too mad at the situation. Plus this b.s has been going on for awhile now. In a lot of the previous seasons certain queens are given songs to L.S. to and it's song they would be good at and the other queen wouldn't. It's always been a situation where the queen I like comes out on top so I don't mind too much but yeah I guess it's kinda a given on this show. The manipulation and editing makes people appear a certain way and can make certain queens to have more talent than they actually do....IDK. Mistakes and flubbed lines can be edited out so only good stuff stays. Enh I don't mind I guess, I would rather seen queens excel and than just see a bunch of nonsense ala season 7s acting challenges. I guess they are trying to compensate for last years mistakes *shrug* Nayasha = *yawn* she came back and then faded into the background. Instead of bringing her back I wish that this week was a non elimination. I'm gonna miss CooCoo Cynthia.

Really? Wow I hadn't noticed. I guess I'm so in love with B.O.B. and Thorgy I see nothing else =)

Is that the case this season? I personally haven't noticed anyone with God awful teeth. True a lot of the girls don't have perfectly straight, fridge white teeth but no one is walking around buck tooth, black rotted teeth, or simply missing teeth from what I've seen so I don't really see the big deal. Cosmetic dental work is major $$$ that isn't covered under insurance so between the expensive wigs, outfits, props, and whatever else may be needed I can see why a lot can't afford it. As far as can't sew goes--from what I remember Jinx couldn't sew either and she won. Shangela and Adore were notorious for not sewing and both are successful. The thing is as long as you can hot glue really well ala Joslyn Fox I think you can get away with it a bit. There are really only 2 challenges were sewing is necessary. Naysha couldn't construct a dress properly much less sew. And as blah as her dress was it leads me to believe she had little imagination to create an outfit. That's what really did her in, not just simply not sewing. Plus it seems like a cliche' on this show--there has to be someone who doesn't know how to sew. HAS TO BE! Just like there has to be a queen with a super sad backstory.

I've never been to a BOTS show either but from everything I've heard from fans is if you can afford it it's totally worth it. A lot of the queens are really nice and unless they are having an off day they are usually very appreciative of their fans. Sorry you had a bad experience with one of your favs.....if you don't mind spilling the T on who it was......:)

My favorite part was at the end when Cookie asked Siri how much time was left......omg only 50 seconds had passed. I feel ya. That flipping the oven light on and off thing, I do that too when I am impatient for food to be cooked

I agree with Dax cosplay looks but honestly I see more cosplay with Kim Chi. Dax's face kinda bothered me a bit. She had sooooo much cosmetic eye work done she looked oriental! It was so distracting the way her face didn't move when she spoke.I agree Acid Betty's face is a bit.....jarring. Honestly she scares the shit out of me. Lol I don't know why but something about those facial expressions, like she could shoot flames from here eyes just weirds me out. Really like all the queens and early favs are Bob, Kim, Thorgy, and oddly enough Chi Chi and Cynthia (both who I thought would dislike) are starting to grow on me. I love that--when a queens personality and talent win me over

I liked it better when the lion spoke. Now that he just stands there without saying a word is a little creepy. It's as if he's stalking him--like lions do in the wild stalking their prey.

I am LOVING this season. Really a lot more than S7. What is the point of the Shade Tree? Is that necessary? There is enough shade being thrown in the talking heads. One blogger pointed out that maybe it's so the queens can be in the moment when they need to get something off their chest...*shrug*. IDK. I like all the queens--even Naomi who I was convinced was going to be the pretty one and nothing else of the season but she can really dance. I was impressed with her during the Bitch Perfect routine. I too am quickly becoming a Thorgy fan. Something about this queen is captivating. Having said that, what is up with her hair?? Are all those dread locks real? Wow that's a lot of hair. And are the unshaven legs part of his look? Obviously he shaves his beard and chest (I think) so I was curious why the legs are left unkept.

I like this idea a lot! Also how about having a separate thread for Untucked? Having to sift thru all the posts to chat about just what happens during Untucked gets a bit confusing...

IKR?! Animals behaving like humans is always a cute gimmick. I couldn't tell you the name of the car they were trying to sell but seeing them in the car like a family is funny.

According to R.S. filming begins very close to when ATR ends and the new season starts sometime in May...I think. I too am happy about Jojo being the next Bachelorette! Calia was just too much for me--she came across as fake, similar to how Britt did.

I meant to post this awhile back--I just love the Ted & Rudy Milk Bone commercials. Ted seems like such a sweetie pie. I like how the commercials show that taking care and loving your dog isn't a foo-foo girly thing. And the attention to dental care is nice as well.

I wanted to give my 2 cents about Untucked as well. Last year I hated it--the whole thing but this season, so far, I like it a lot more. I really think it's because I simply like the queens a lot more this time around so where they are seated isn't that big of a deal to me. Maybe it took me a little longer to get used to the new setup of Untucked but I really think it's simply I would rather hear what Bob, Betty, and Kim Chi have to say than sit thru 30 mins of Pearl and Violet ramble on about bullshit.

I like the idea of a thread for each queen. It seems to keep the main episode thread less cluttered with a bunch of posts about how much we love such and such queen.

This episode was pretty good even though some of the story lines were waaay out of character. The hookup with Michaela and Asher--its so far fetched it's difficult to believe. If the characters were even mildly friendly to each other then maybe but from what I can remember the only time they talk to each other is when Michaela is telling him to shut up in some form or fashion. To say I don't get them is an understatement Is there trouble in paradise for Oliver & Conner??? Another out of the blue story development. I can understand Conner being concerned for Oliver's safety but that little speech he gave Laurel was just weird. And Oliver quitting his job and quoting Annalise (and a possible job) is just so unlike him! He's suppose the reasonable, grounded one. This is just a haphazard life choice for him it just doesn't seem right. More Frank less whiny Wes please!!

Yes to all of this PLUS it's the first episode and everyone is trying to get their personality, their schtick, out there. No time for wallflowers. Use the t.v. as a form of advertising. I've noticed in the first few episodes a lot of the queens have a tendency to be over the top and really give 110% so they can be remembered. So for now everyone gets a free pass on their behavior but I see Acid's attitude wearing me down real quick, especially if it becomes meaner as the season progresses. We'll see how it goes.....
