"Crisis of faith" is not an exclusively Catholic term that I'm aware. I was raised Catholic. If Jessa's questioning of herself as a person stemmed from a lack of belief, then that would be a crisis of faith. In other words if Jessa thought she was a bad person, because she didn't believe what she was taught to believe then that's a crisis of faith. Joe, Jinger, Jill, etc. have all shown some signs being religious and sincere in their faith. Joe and Jinger in particular. It's too much a part of their lives for them to not believe some of it without out right denying how they were raised.

She's a girl. She has a servant's heart and will make an excellent sistermom.

It looks like the birth went well. Now Joy can compete with Kendra for the most kids. I'm glad she and the baby are healthy. She's 8lbs 5oz.

For Jill R, that make-up is toned down and almost normal. It's a little heavy on the eyes, but nothing like she was a few years ago or maybe even a few days ago. If you don't believe me, try to find a picture of her from a few years ago.

Jeremiah went on a small flight with a young lady named Elizabeth Patton. I thought he was courting someone else. Still it wasn't clear that this was anything other than taking friends/clients? up in the plane. He and another man were flying the plane and she had someone else with her. James is hanging out with the Caldwells. Joe was also there.

I hope you're safe from the hurricane. I also remember your story, and I hope your niece is okay too.

The bacon post was a joke? I understand humor is subjective, but I couldn't tell that was a joke. Could you explain it to me? I thought he was saying that Jinger doesn't like the smell of bacon (my mother doesn't like it either). Since bacon for breakfast is part of his diet, she dutifully cooks the bacon even the smell bothers her. I saw it as an honest appreciation of her duties although I thought he should give up bacon for the duration of the pregnancy or at least learn to cook himself. It's too close to what men like him constantly say about their wives during pregnancy for me to read it as a joke. Also he put scripture at the end of the post, would Jeremy joke using a scripture verse like that? (I'm honestly not sure.) Hey good news at least Jinger still has her sense of smell!

I wouldn't worry too much. They're probably to either announce as hype for the show or when Us Weekly, People, etc. wants to do the announcement. At least she's not still posting bump pictures. I hope the baby was born Thursday and Joy and the baby are healthy.

Dan and Deena are having another baby. They have son named Jaxon. The new baby is due March 1.

Why is she smelling bacon if she doesn't want to? If you don't want to smell bacon, don't bring bacon home. Stay home and social distance!

Yes most of their single children are the college set. They need to be available to film a courtship.

I've mentioned the Bowers family many times. They're a family of grifters who travel the country and preach and maybe sing. They're well-known fundies. The parents have 9 kids. The oldest two kids are girls and those girls are married to two of the Bontrager sons in arranged marriages. (The Bowers keep moving. They moved three or four years in a row. One year they moved to Iowa and that was the year their daughters courted the Bontrager boys.) Anyway Carver Bowers posted a picture to Instagram. His new post features Carver, and a bunch of guys with him. (Some of them are Bowers, but I'm not sure who they all are. I'm not even sure which is Cooper.) What's relevant is the Bowers are in the TTH. In the picture with them are JB, Michelle, Johannah, Jennifer, and Josie. I'm getting better at posting links, but I don't know how to post Instagram links. Someone could post the IG post if they want. The Bowers boys are part of a lost generation fundie young men with poor work prospects. Their family doesn't have money like the Bontragers, or Duggars. They don't seem to have a lot of earning potential and yet they're expected to find someone to marry and be quiverfull. There seem to be quite few fundie young men with that problem.

Of course Jill wants to look young; she'll be a grandma by this time next year. 🙄 Once Nurie gives birth, I'll call her grandma Jill. She'll probably want to be called something like Lolli.

Maybe Joy had the baby is waiting until she comes home to announce the birth. I wanted to be Carlin and Evan would be more responsible, but I looked at her Instagram. Boy are they dumb!

Well Joy is in the hospital (assuming she had the baby) and the hospital isn't going to let Carlin in. Hospitals have no visitors right now in maternity wards. I also think Carlin and Joy are smart enough to avoid each other at least for the next month.

Mary Maxwell is 24 years old today! She is the youngest of Steve's children. Her family wrote a post about it.

Well it certainly doesn't seem to help them grow hair. Actually I wonder if ALERT is so stressful it's partially responsible for early hair loss.

No I'm hoping she had the baby and they're waiting to make an announcement. If she hasn't had the baby, it seems likely the delivery will be more troublesome.

Grace is exceptionally cute imo. It doesn't say anything about her parents' beliefs, but she is a really cute baby.

Joe does have a real estate license so that's something.

It sounds good and useful. It's a fluff line to make parents want to send their sons and fork over money.

Joe needs to be more thirsty if they keep reproducing at this rate.

Allison had two wedding showers; one with her husband's family and one with her family. Her mother and unmarried sisters were at both. The bachelorett party was more really a wedding shower.
