Is Missionary pilot a real career? I've never known anyone with that job and it seems dubious to me. He'd be the pilot version of David. As mentioned this is a common problem for fundie boys, not just the Rod boys.

She's looking for a farmer. I got the sense she may have been interested in the Bontrager boys, but if they're anything like their father, they're not nice. The problem Tim has is that he has to support a wife. The girls can get married once they find a man to support them; the way Nathan is hopefully supporting Nurie with his lawncare business. Tim has no money to support a wife. This is crisis for many fundie boys, not just the Rods. The Bowers boys, even the Bates boys to some extent, and many more.

I remember during the announcements the way Abbie told us "I love John". It was clear that she had picked up on the fact a lot of the family, particularly his parents, thought he was hopeless. Jed! seems the right combination of smug and koolaid drunk on their beliefs.

Ben and Jinger would never have made it to a city, because he'd still be working for her dad. He had the same life, no matter which sister he picked.

Tim doesn't live with her so maybe it's just an outing with her sons who still live at home.

Maci is just a popular name and it's fits their pattern. (Allie, Lexi, Zoey, Maci) There are three spellings of Maci in the 1000 names and Maci (this spelling) is the most popular.

Alyssa and John announced the name of the expected child due in February. They announced it on youtube by saying it and no one was sure what the name is. Today they posted it on Instagram. Maci Jo, sister to Allie Jane, Lexi Mae, and Zoey Joy. Jo after Kelly Jo Bates and her mother. Alyssa's kids have a first cousin named Kaci, Zach's and Whitney's oldest daughter.

It's on Instagram. The baby's name is Maci Jo.

Every other site I've seen says her name is Macy like Macy Gray. I'm sure Alyssa and John will write it sooner than later.

Abbie's daughter was born this year. At least 3 children under 2. Both Joy and Abbie look worse and less likely to leave the cult. Another Patton. The Patton family are really good friends with the Duggars. Her sisters-in-law Elizabeth, and Lydia Patton are hanging out with the Duggars and even rumored to be in courtships with Duggar boys. (Probably not, but who knows?)

Kaylee is the third child, but the second daughter. It's Nurie, Tim, Kaylee, Renee.

When I was kid, Friends (the tv show) wasn't appropriate according to my Christian family. These people also had problems with Glee. Many conservative Christians including Duggar family friend Madison Nicole watch both. (In the case of MJ, I also suspect racism.)

Plenty of conservative Christians grew up with both. Her parents aren't fundie.

Their fans aren't saying much, which suggests to me they aren't thrilled. I think a lot of them like the fantasy/reality of having the whole family in the same neighborhood. Elissa is probably thrilled. She never seems comfortable around Steve and Teri.

Most of her kids are older and would be able to get the bears down. As a child, I could get things up high by climbing on things. I had friends with china dolls they couldn't really play with and were displayed like that. Hopefully there are other toys.

To me, a fundie is by definition a judgmental jerk. John and Abbie are going to church like Jill and Derick are, with people who do things differently. Joy and Austin are probably too busy to be actively judging, but I'd be very surprise if asked they weren't be judgmental. These two show no growth and yet everyone has such hope for them.

I don't get why those siblings would be supportive. I agree Jinger and Jeremy wouldn't have a problem with it. Joy/Austin and Joe/Kendra seem the most koolaid drunk, and probably would have problems it. I doubt either any of them would say anything however. Joy has a new baby and 2 year old so she probably doesn't have more time to think about anything else. I wouldn't be surprised if Abbie/JD were okay with it since they are also going to an SBC church (not Kendra's dad church). It wouldn't surprise me if Abbie or John had tried a drink, since they were older when they were married. Maybe Abbie's LPN friends used to drink. Anna and Josh probably disapprove, but they have enough kids and issues of their own. I have no idea how Si/Lauren feel. I get the sense most of the other siblings would blindly parroting their parents/family/cult if they know anything about it at all.

I still think it's Jeremiah. Justin's rumored relationship is Arkansas as are most of the rumored courtships. Jeremiah is the only one rumored to be dating someone in Arizona. We know they were in Arizona. A picture of Jed!, Jer, JinJer, Felicity and JB was leaked from Arizona. This picture was found the day before Jinger announced this pregnancy. The picture seemed to be taken at a time they were filming. Why did they go to Arizona to film something? Most likely because there's someone to visit. Like this possible courtship. The only lonely J boys on the trip were the -Iah twins as far as we know. Jed! has made it clear; he's single. As for Justin, Reddit's proof may be the commercial which is probably deliberately misleading.
