Erin and Chad: Fifty Shades of Pink
Temperance replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
New dramatic post from Erin and Chad on Instagram. It annoys me to no end when people say something has happened but won't say what. -
Lookeyloo I'm so sorry.

I think Jeremy typed that. It wouldn't surprise me.

Kendra's oldest younger brother.

What's amazing is the Duggar boys have the same shirt.

I prefer ice cream to pocket squares. Jinger liked to wear hats indoors when she met Jeremy. It's not my thing, but she can do what she wants as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

Considering she's up on pumpkin with one of her feet touching the ground (outside), I say yes. It looks like that's black mulch. Mulch, in my experience, is painful on bare feet. It could give her splinters. Also a lot of people put shoes on babies during the colder months and in cold climate to keep their feet warm.

Joe, Kendra, their kids, Kendra's parents, and their children are visting the Bowers family. The Bowers have 9 kids. Their oldest two daughters are adults and married into the Bontrager family (both of them.) The Bowers have 6 boys, so there could be a potential courtship between Lauren C. and a Bowers boy. The pictures on Carver Bowers Instagram, which someone could post. There are a few pictures where neither Joe nor Kendra is holding their children (other people are). This is not the first time there are pictures like and it reminds of JB and Michelle.

The Maxwells have bed bugs, which to is Very Bad News. (By 2020 standards, this seems inconvenient and unpleasant, but not that bad.) The bugs were found in the guest room/music room. Maxwell bed bug blog post "This was not what we wanted to have to deal with! Saturday night Anna was upstairs in our guest room comfortably reading on the bed when she saw a small bug crawling toward her. Normally, she would just squash the bug, but she was speculative of this one. She grabbed a tissue, and with some effort, killed it, and put it in a zippered plastic bag so it could be identified. Google soon answered the question, identifying it as a bed bug! Oh no! On Monday, Steve sent an enlarged photo of it to the local county extension office for confirmation. BED BUG. Our research reveals they are harder to eliminate than fleas, ants, or cockroaches. We are in this for the long haul, and we won’t be having guests for a very long time. The good news we are praising God for is that there has been no other evidence of these insects anywhere else in the house. For now the guest room is sealed off. Steve’s careful inspection of the mattress, box springs, and frame didn’t reveal any signs of bed bugs or bed bug infestation. He sealed the decorative pillows in black plastic bags, which will be in the attic waiting for the blazing Kansas summer heat which kills them. Would you believe they can live up to 400 days without feeding? He also sealed the bedding in black plastic trash bags waiting to be laundered. Thirty minutes in a hot dryer kills the nasty pests. We will soon be putting some products down in there which should arrive by Saturday. Once they arrive, Steve will continue inspecting the rest of the furniture in the room and other places bed bugs hide. Not sure what he has planned after that. Hopefully, none of you have any experience with them. However, if you have, share with us what worked for you and what didn’t. “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)."

While there was someone living there, we don't know that that person is still living with them. -
Exactly.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

Well Evelyn is a baby. Babies are supposed to look dad for evolutionary purposes. (Basically it helps dad bond with the kid.) -
I'm not so sure about this either. Jeremy seems to get along okay with JB (not like Derrick). I also think that girls are given a wider range of guys to marry, because fundie boys/men are ill-equipped to deal with family. The Duggar boys all get involved with fundie girls usually with an IBLP connection. I think JB expects to support his sons and daughters-in-law in the way he has with the rest of them, but I think this will play a factor when the other girls get married. He'll try to find guys with more ability to support a family.
-
I agree with this, but I think it's a step further. JB meets someone he thinks is a good prospective match. He introduces this person to his children to see any of them are interested (within hetero restrictions). He talks up the person he wants them to meet. Says he's impressed with their Godly qualities and other talents if they have any. The kids have a right to say "No I'm not interested", so they're not bound to marry this person. If they are interested, a getting to know/courtship starts up. And these kids are really young and susceptible for marriage, so they listen to their parents. When there are a bunch of children the same age and gender, he may try to see who is the best fit/most interested.

I don't see homosexuality as sin. I think love is love and if two people love each other, and want to spend their lives together that's their business. Jesus never said anything about homosexuality despite the fact it happened during his lifetime.

Well he is calling this a "throwback". That means the picture was taken long before now. This picture is probably from before the Pandemic.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

He's over 18 he should be able to do what he wants. The amount of control these people have over their adult children makes me sick.
